Let the games begin! After a long hiatus, we finally have a major event in Springfield! Act 3 of Game of Games has arrived and it looks to be a game fest of nerdy proportions!
The Game of Games event follows the same event structure that the Simpsons Christmas Special and Love, Springfieldian Style events followed. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Week 4, Act 4, we’re following the Evergreen Terrors through the final round of gaming competition. All of the prizes unlocked during week 4 play a role in that storyline.
So let’s take a look at the first and second prizes this week the Conflict of Enemies Indoor Stage and Crowd of Gamers…

The stage reminds me of the other stages from the Homerpalooza event. I haven’t found a place for it yet but I originally planned for it to go with the championship arena since they both are of the same theme. It would be good if there were permanent tasks here to keep the animation though a visual animation of Bart, Nelson, Milhouse, Report Card, Martin and Database (possibly Lisa and Sophie as well) at the tables would’ve been nice. I always like getting a new type of crowd in the game since this must be the sixth type of crowd. I’ll probably buy several and put some at my E4 area, possibly in another area for the stage and arena and around my town.
Is it just me? My crowd of gamers only has three different positions of nerdy gamers. The fourth position (bottom left, with the nerd wearing white shirt and glasses in front row) is not available in my game,…
I completed the requirements but didn’t receive the mapple store. Was I too late? Is there a time limit? Anyone else have this problem?
I guess you’re only seeing two missions, isn’t it? There are three missions for the Mapple building. The first one should be “hidden”… covered behind the items descriptions. Just roll the screen up (or down) and you’ll see it’s not finished yet. =(
Indoor Stage – if there are continued / permanent Character Tasks here, then I will retract my gripe about it being baseless Decor (haven’t decided where it will permanently be in my Springfield, did a lot of “plopping and moving” during the Event for each Week / Act. 😎
Crowd of Gamers – yeah I’m over crowds (too many offered up with prior Events and this feels like EA is being lazy), so I feel like I got a right to groan (I have let EA know how I feel on Twitter, but it hasn’t always been a gripe, I have thanked them when they do the right thing) 🙄
Ok, back to earthquake preparation (I’m almost done learning the second to last Prize) since California / Nevada is “rocking and a rolling” 😮
I expected the the stage would be like the Audience Participation table and it would have a visual animation of selected characters, now another feature with no character tasks after the event. Very disappointing. The gamers have the same orientation issue as the Christmas carolers. I have to place them behind say Time Snowboarder to be facing it, so I guess I won’t be using too many donuts buying much more there. Two more good ideas a victim of EALP. *sigh
Agreed… this one is not on the writers…
Is it just me but I witnessed inconstancy in the number of donuts I have collected. At one time last week I gained a large some, 74, without doing anything, but recently I have lost 16 donuts without purchasing anything, is it a major glitch? Anyone?
