Anyone else super pissed there was no new president for annual July 4th event?
Been M.I.A here for a while, picked up a new addiction a while back. My 10 yr old really wanted me to play Fortnite and now I can’t stop😂 anyway… this will be the first event in a while I won’t finish. Got started a few days late because of work being busy. I thought I managed to catch up and finish then a 5th part happened. Oh well… my town is getting messy anyway.
I wanted to give an idea for a post, and I apologize if that was already done, but my search didn’t yield results…
I am constantly looking for information about real estate points. But not regular upgradeable buildings, but unique items, when you place them, it awards millions of points, and those points dont disappear when you store the item.
For example , fission boat. Available in store. 3+ mln RE points.
Other items available thru yearbook look like they might have those points too, but sometimes even the description in your storage doesn’t reveal they have RE points.
I am saving those points to beat a player to the first place, and I once placed something I previously got thru yearbook and unexpectedly got 3 mln points, though I checked description before placing item.
So, long story short, it would be nice to have a list of items that award those points: regular premium items and limited time items.

Started on the last prize tonight. Should be done with this event late tomorrow night. I have thoroughly enjoyed this event. Pretty soon, I’m going to need to do a redesign. I’m hoping I’ll be able to do it without blowing up my town. I will see.

Two fishing buddies invite a third fellow to go fishing with them.
They take their boat out to a lake and anchor just off shore from a resort area.
After a while, fishing guy #1 states he is hungry, steps out of the boat and walks to the shore and buys a sandwich from the vendor there. And returns.
Later, fishing guy #2 states he is thirsty, steps out of the boat and walks to the shore and buys a beverage. And walks back to the boat
A short time later the new guy declares that he is hungry. He stands up, steps out of the boat and sinks to the bottom of the lake.
#1 turns to #2 to and says…
I guess we should have told him where the steppingstones are located.

Interesting interview. I sympathize with EA on this. I work for a large service provider company and it’s to the point where I cannot wear anything with the corporate logo on it as I will get nothing but complaints from people.
Yes it’s a big company, yes management is screwed up—just like any big company—but there are a lot of us that come to work and try to improve the customer experience. Many times we are frustrated by policies, etc..but we really do try.
But I have also learned that there are lots of people that will never be happy no matter what you do for them.
Bingo! That’s it right there. That last sentence. Once you learn that life gets a lot easier. It applies to nearly every aspect of life.
No doubt about it….the majority of people need to find a reason to be upset. Think about ourselves, family, friends….some people just can’t function if they are not angry about something. They feel abnormal if they are not upset or jealous or mad. They think someone is always trying to take from them or give them less or giving others more. As the great Seinfeld once said, “Yea..people, they’re the worst”.
Only you can decide to be mad or let something bother you!
I had to learn that in therapy, but the lesson did sink in.

It can really, really, REALLY annoy the bejeebers out of them.

That’s the other thing I learned: you don’t have to respond to everything.
Never tried Tai-chi, I like yoga, but I’m not very good at it. I listen to asmr videos to help me fall asleep.

If you can make at least a majority percentage wise of the Customers happy? Well, I believe that’s to be applauded (this tells me a Company has hired enough Staff to handle any situation).
If the need to help Customers is so great that there is not enough Staff being hired to the situation? Or, Staff is expected to handle more than what they should and it’s having a negative impact? (now here’s where I feel EA is guilty!) Then perhaps our frustration shouldn’t necessarily be directed at EA regarding epic fails in their Games / Game Apps, but for not making sure their Staff has the adequate means to handle any situation.
It’s truly impossible to maintain 100% Customer Is Happy
A lot of adults never grow up. They act like children, have a sense of entitlement and don’t know how to be grateful. People like that are hard to be around and you just have to deal with things the best you can.
Well… Server problems since last night. Still ongoing. Guess I’m not finishing the event. Sigh

Had to coach it 1 yr when my little guy played and no one else stepped up. He quit after that season. I hadn’t been interested since then either! Lol
Over halfway to General Splatten. Ok on vacation so looking forward to getting this over with. Having a great time visiting family that I’ve not seen in 2 years. Oh yeah that’s why I’m not doing random songs (if anyone even cared anymore)
I’m always amazed by the amount of diversity in your playlists. At times when I’m studying I’ll check out the bands/songs on You Tube. I’m sure it is a hassle to type up each week and I wouldn’t blame you for not wanting to do it anymore but at least some of us are interested. Glad you are enjoying your time with family.
I really do enjoy doing it. I once did a list of 1000 songs. Took about a week. That was before I posted them on here. Glad to hear people enjoy it and listen to some of it. Thanks!
I’ve always enjoyed viewing your playlists….for some odd reason, as I’ve aged, I’ve become out of touch with music….I had job in news…kinda…my listening habits while making commutes turned into listening to talk radio, either politics or sports. Keep the playlists coming….it’s nice to come across an obscure band or song you mention, brings me back to the day or time…..

Happy tapping all 😁, finished the event today and submitted my design for the showoff, struggled to design this one but gave it a shot 😄, not my best effort.
Been watching some of the woman’s world games, Scotland didn’t do that great, the var system very strict I thought but still proud, the USA team absolutely brilliant game’s what a team, will be watching today’s game.
