Let the games begin! After a long hiatus, we finally have a major event in Springfield! Act 3 of Game of Games has arrived and it looks to be a game fest of nerdy proportions!
The Game of Games event follows the same event structure that the Simpsons Christmas Special and Love, Springfieldian Style events followed. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Week 4, Act 4, we’re following the Evergreen Terrors through the final round of gaming competition. All of the prizes unlocked during week 4 play a role in that storyline.
So let’s take a look at the third prize this week the Grief Counselor…
Grief Counselor is an all-new character for Springfield and is part of the Game of Games Character Collection:

I was surprised to find out that he wasn’t an NPC but a full character. I like how his visual tasks were not misleading and that he is a good provider. I also love that he has a 24 hour task at the arena which means the drones can stay flying all day there. Is he based an ED-209 from RoboCop because he seemed like a parody of something.

I have a feeling I’m going to feel dumb when I get an answer to this, but…. I completed the Grief Counselor’s questline, but I don’t see any 24-hour task option with it, as you can see in the photo. Any idea why?

Location is the arena. I believe you need to unlock that first
Ah! When you wrote arena, I mistakenly thought you were referring to the building/decoration at which the characters are currently battling for this event. Since I haven’t finished the current track yet, your answer makes compete sense. Knew I could count on you! 🙂
actually I was here to make a comment that I was extremely annoyed that another character like Gummy Joe wasn’t given a 24 hour task. Thanks for Clearing things up Alissa.
I was going to do that as well until I seen this post and after that I checked that it was at the arena once I unlocked it last night. Thanks Alissa.
Liked the character but was disappointed his questline didn’t use visual tasks so I sent him on both of them afterwards just so I could see them.
I like him. He’s a robot that capitalizes on our sadness. Somehow that makes me happy. Go figure.
