The Sounds of TSTO: The Very First TSTO THOH

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Your senses can evoke powerful memories in you. The smell of saltwater can trigger you back to your youth spent at the beach, the touch of cotton can bring you back to memories of your mom, and hearing sounds of TSTO can bring back countless hours spent tap, tap, tapping away.

So let’s take a trip down memory lane via the sound effects of TSTO…

A name that tune for the first THOH was done back in May, just took me forever to catch up with the full THOH 2012 Audio.

Level 21 was followed a few weeks later by Level 22 and the very first THOH Event…with Zombies!  Level 22 saw the Arrival of Mrs. K (not voiced) and her Apartment building.  And the THOH event was the first major event in TSTO. Back during that event, you could chuck Eggs and TP at your neighbors, and your Springfielders became Zombies!  Here are the sounds of that update…

THOH also had it’s own commercial…

This was the sound if you egged a building…

And this was the sound for TP…

A few other skins for characters were introduced (Devil Flanders, Mayan Homer, Witch Marge), but those voices just replayed the original voicecs for the characters so not reposting audio here.

Stay tuned for more sounds of TSTO!

  1. Awesome post Alissa 😊👍

I really enjoyed going down memory lane with regards to the first Halloween Event in TSTO (long time Tappers will sigh remembering how the Game App used to be, Noobs will wish they were playing the game 6.5 years ago).

I definitely missed throwing eggs and tp’ing homes in my Neighboreeno’s Springfields (lol, we definitely had some silly things to do in generating Event Currency, or obtain something necessary to help generate Event Currency) and dealing with the zombie outbreak.

Why waste time complaining about what we don’t have, when we can spend quality time remembering how it was 😀👉

  2. Off topic…
The last couple weeks my sister and I have been shuffling a bunch of furniture around, making room for my Mom to stay with us. While we were cleaning out a few drawers, we came across this button… it was given away at an ALA(American Library Association) conference that my sister attended in 1987. Matt Groenig was apparently at the conference promoting a new cartoon book and these buttons were being given out. Kind of a fun piece, you can even see the book publisher’s name on the bookbag being carried.😁

  3. I always loved that haunted version of the back ground music.

  4. That was one of my favorite events!!!

  5. Whacking day, that’s a good rumor to start. When does the new whacking day event start?

‘Internet eh, I hear they have that on computers now.’

  6. Hugh Parker (DiagonalLine)

Marvelous feature. Thank you Alissa. Those were some of the very best events. That’s when I was hooked. 2014?

  7. Please repeat this early event EA…
So easy to do if you have run out of ideas!

I would love to replay it 👌

    • I don’t think you want them to repeat this. It’s basically like current day mini-events (follow questline, unlock prizes) with some items to buy for special currency (in this case it was candy) and then the neighbor interactions.
Whacking Day was really the first time the brought out a true prize track.
