The Flanders have invaded Springfield…hopefully to liven this up a bit! As the Flanders Family Reunion has officially kicked off! What will happen in the new update? Will Canadian Flanders say one eh to many? Will Ted Flanders unload all of his Spinich? Well, you’ll have to read the dialogue to find out!
Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes. As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini-event is your typical standard mini-event. Follow the questline to unlock prizes and call it a day…until the next event.

I just want to say to Alissa that I appreciate all that she does. I’ve been laid up in the hospital for a few months and besides books, the only thing i do is read the news on my iPhone and play this game. Her input has helped me immensely. I know it’s a game, but please remember that’s all ppl have sometimes when the only other interaction you have is with nurses. Tired of ppl correcting her on misspelling or leaving something out. It’s a game. She’s kicking butt at it. Peace to all

Am loving this event! And it is so great that the characters go to different locations. No more waiting five minutes to send the “spare” characters when I’m nearing the target.
I got a daily quest to send Springfielders to Buy Milk. Now 3 of the characters that I need for this event are stuck on the task. For example, Quimby shows up in the upper left with a checkmark indicating that he’s done, but when you click on it, it takes you to the Kwik-E-Mart, but there’s no one there. Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks in advance!
Never mind…just stored the building where everyone was hung up. Remember reading that here a while back, so TSTO Addicts comes through again!
P,S, sorry if I am writing too many comments, just very excited about this update. Can I ask if someone knows if Stupid Sexy Flanders in his ski suit earns more spinach compared to regular soup whiskers?
Seems to be only “regular” Ned or Devil Flanders, but if you have that particular skin it does earn 15 rather than 12 doodads.
( I go find it in the list first so I don’t send Ned instead )
CHARMED I mean, a googly… doogly. Holy diddlymoly, this is such a heartworming hi-dey-hoopdate! I am in love with this compared to the annoying kids E4 stuff. 2 Flanders characters, one of them Lord Thistlewick! And 2 neat buildings and a crowd of Flanderses to plant right in front of the Homer home. I am rewarding EA for this with half my donuts (to get the spinach cart)
It seems like this one has nice prices. I ike the 2 buildings and the 2 characters. But the 50 donut box? Well, it only had 1 thing in it for me: Coach Pommelhorst. So that was a bit of a let down.

Debating spending sprinkles on new Premium Character (would be nice to get the whole Flander’s Family, maybe someday we’ll get Human Maude?) 🤔
#1. It would be nice if, instead of:
‘A Crowd of Flanders’, they had,
‘A Field of Flanders’
But, maybe that is too subtle.
#2. FANTASTIC that Currency Earners attend separate buildings. That means, if I’m at 285 of 300, I don’t lose all my earnings in excess of 300. I tap, collect roughly enough to hit 300+, collect the Prize…..
And THEN continue to tap and collect currency toward the NEXT prize.
Out of curiosity I just checked for the donut deals in my store. There arent even the options to buy them at the normal cost. The only one there is the one with the Shelbyville statue deal. I dont need donuts but still…strange. They dont love me anymore i guess.
Maybe they recognize i spend far too much money in this game? lol
I’m a broke donut farmer with a silly big bonus and the donut deals showed up when I checked.
Maybe they miss my odd goes at golden scratchrs ?!!
The donut deals are now in my store! They must have changed something.

Got Pommelhorst in my 3rd try….2 duds before her that will forever grace storage. But im glad i got her! Totally worth it!

It’s Flanders…it’s really hard not to be happy when Ned’s involved.
I have 5 yearbook items in my mystery box. The street cleaner has the lowest donut value for me at 90. All the other items are in position 1 for me, with a value of over 200 each and bonus %. So I too will take my chances with the mystery box to get Pommelhurst.
I’m way more into this event than the Games event. I purchased two new characters and picked up Praiseland and Ned’s parents. Even the regular prizes are good!
I have four items in the Flanders mystery box. Bookacinnos, Tailgate, Street Cleaner, and Lisa’s Recycling Plant. I’ve already read the Should I Buy posts but do you think it’s worth it to scoop up these four items for 200 donuts? Keep in mind I farm donuts.
Not worth it. You could get them from the Yearbook mystery box for 30 donuts each.
But the odds of all four items being in the same group in the yearbook are slim to none, which means I could spend up up 600 donuts buying them from the yearbook. Plus, I think only the recycling plant is in the yearbook.
Only had the coach in my Mystery Box. Glad to at least get SOMETHING!!! That being said, it was a new character so didn’t need to be in the mystery box.
Glad they are at least trying, albeit super superficially. Waiting for them to put the rest of the characters in a new mb or the Yearbook. Always backed EA, but c’mon!!! Alissa keeps track of what they put in. Surely the actual people working there can do so too? Been waiting for the last 29 characters since the Yearbook came out. Im starting to get grumbly. And i usually always support EA.

They are all in the yearbook. At least that’s how I got them. True, you could spend a lot of donuts going the yearbook route, but you would get some better items along the way. It’s the more effective use of donuts on a cost per item basis. If you only want these four items for some reason, spending 20 donuts extra a piece is not terrible. I would still take into consideration how long it takes you to go through the yearbook. Four rounds would only take me a couple days, maybe, but I don’t know how quickly you are able to earn donuts through farming. Good luck!

If those Prizes in the Mystery Box are all a “must have” then yeah I’d spend the extra sprinkles (it’s only 50 more 🍩’s than you’d typically spend and I figure you will quickly earn those back farming) 😀👍
None of them are really “must have”, which is why I’m curious. I should probably start saving donuts for Halloween…lol
If you mean your Summer Yard Sale mystery box, then I say yes defo get these 4 things for the 50 donuts each.The problem w/ the Yearbook is you only got 20% chance to get them, which can cost you up to 150 donuts before you finally get that ONE item you want and up to 4 crappy things you hate 🙁 So if you are unlucky you can easily spend over 360-400 donuts 🙁 If you want all 4 of these items, this seems a better deal
Hey, I had 12 items! I ended up getting Coach P on my 10th try! LOL 500 donuts for one character? Not really. I got a few other characters, some buildings, and some other things (like the cleaner and truckasaurus). I know some of the items had rebate offers, but, assuming Coach had just been 50 donuts, I got all 10 items for a much reduced rate (looking back at all their original costs, so again, not counting rebates, all 10 would have cost 1,380 donuts! That was a 64% savings!), and I’m all for that, considering it upped my % as well as added a bunch of stuff. Also, I farm as well, so I can make up 500 donuts in a week’s time, so nothing truly lost here. I think you should totally go for it! In fact, I went ahead and spent 100 more donuts on the last two remaining items-Concert Hall and Tailgate which would have originally been 185 and 200 respectively. Again, huge savings of almost a quarter of the price! People say they already had so many items that their mystery boxes only had a few items, so I imagine they spent that many donuts to begin with. So for me, 600 donuts in 5 minutes “hurts” a bit, but I will recover shortly, and it’s much lower than 1765 – by almost two-thirds! Even with the rebates, this was a much better option.
Note – I know that the items are also in the yearbook. But as people have mentioned, the odds that even two of those items are in the same group of 5 items, it’s totally possible to spend 30-150 per item. Let’s say I had gotten every item on first try, 12 items would have come out to 360. Well, instead of taking an incredibly long amount of time finding each one, and having luck 100% on my side, I spent an extra 240, lol. Well worth it, in my opinion.
So, after all this, I will say, YES, definitely scoop up the items! I don’t know how much you farm, but I get 25-30 donuts/4hrs, throw in any other source of donuts, and 200 donuts can be made up rather quickly. I tend to think that all items are “must haves”, but I’ve had to pass up a lot due to donuts. Since I’ve started farming, I usually get whatever big ticket characters are with events, and then I go to the yearbook and get the ones I passed up on earlier. Can’t believe it took me so long to start farming! BUY!!! lol

Great already a day out, I even checked this site yesterday. So it’s gonna be more of s struggle to finish. I even checked the appstore.
You have to trick the app store. Go to your App store. Do a search for The Simpsons Tapped Out. You should see the old screen…even though it says “Open” click the icon, and it should say, “Update.” Hit that…and it will update.
This one is easy. You’ll be fine. You have 2 weeks to complete what should day you 1. You’ll be good, just make sure you clear/reset tasks at least 3 times a day. (Morning, Lunch, Bed)…4 if you can (Morning, Lunch, After Work/School, Bed)

What is wrong with the game…….I haven’t been able to play in weeks. I’ve unistalled and reinstalled several times. It will not connect. Sad cause I’ve been playing for more than 6 years. Help please!!??!!??

There’s nothing wrong with the game, most likely it’s your device. What are you playing on? They’ve eliminated support for older versions of Kindle (like ones that are 4-5 years old), but other than that it should be fine.
Four hours for only $35? Sounds like something Kirk would do!
