Ned: *sigh * I remember selling left-handed pens and notepads.
Marge: How were they different from the right-handed variety?

A Humble Diversion Pt. 1
Ned starts

Ned: Boys, this day trip to Humbleton is just what we need to escape the stress of that family reunion. While we’re here, I’m hoping to find the one super-rare Humble figurine missing from my collection. It’s called “Prayers Before Checkers”, and it’s so dangerously humble, only fifty were ever made.
Rod: While we look for it, I’m going to be the most calm and behaved.
Todd: No! You promised I could be!
Ned: Now stop fighting, boys, or so help me, I’ll ask you politely again!
Make Ned Look for the Rare Figurine- 8hrs, Earns $275, 70xp

A Humble Diversion Pt. 2
Ned starts

Ned: I can’t believe it, this out-of-the-way curio shop has “Prayers Before Checkers”! How much will it set me back?
Herman: In money? Nothing at all. But some say, owning that figure will cost you… your soul!
Ned: Hmm. I’m not sure that’s within my budget…
Make Ned Mull Over Trading his Soul for a Humble- 8hrs, Earns $275, 70xp
Ned: I’m sorry, but possession by a Humble figurine is more story than I signed on for during this visit. Besides, this isn’t a “Treehouse of Horror” episode!

And that’s it my friends, the details on the non-character prizes (sorta), on the Flanders Family Reunion prize track.

Thoughts on the Banner, Left-Mazon, Crowd of Flanders, or Humbleton?  Do you remember any of them from the show? Where have you placed the items in Springfield?  Sound off below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Going to fill every square inch of my Springfield with the crowd of Flanders. The open air stage, the football field, the game show building we got last event where those stupid gamer crowds don’t even look at the stage… it’s gonna be a rootin’ tootin’ flan-diddly-dan-danders kinda Springfield!

  2. The banner and Humbleton are going to be left out in my town because they are needed by Canadian Flanders and Lord Thistlewick Flanders for their 12 hour tasks which is both a positive (since they get used by rare characters) and a negative (to design with and keep in your town. The banner and the crowds are good to use in a reunion area with some tents and stalls. Left-Mazon is currently in my heights since it has a nice design and looks a bit like the Deluxe Condos. Humbleton is also a nice looking building but it could’ve worked as a separate update with the figurines and buildings instead of being one item. I haven’t found anywhere for it yet.

  3. Flanders Family Reunion BBQ Banner (plopped it, will be storing it, doesn’t increase bonus %) 🤷🏼‍♂️
Crowd of Flanders Family Members (plopped it, tapped twice, going into storage) 🤷🏼‍♂️
Left-Mazon (I got a good chuckle from this Building, thank you EA) 😊
Humbleton (♥️ that permanent 8 hour task for Ned, thanks EA)👍

There is more to ♥️ and less to 🤷🏼‍♂️ with this Event (definitely wins this year for the best dialogue) 😊

  4. For me, this has been one of the best events in a long time. Funny and great dialog.

  5. How many crowds of Flanders is too many? Asking for a friend …

  6. The only one in my mystery box from that list was Mexican Duffman and he came as a bundle with the Lady Duff skin.

  7. I’ve filled three land tiles with Flanders. I crank the sound and tap them quickly. I might store them and buy some more.

  8. When is the next event coming? I have 399 characters and my OCD won’t accept that

    • Better buy another one because there are 419 total. Here’s the list:

      https://tstoaddicts.com/characters/

Note: this list isn’t updated yet to include Pommelhorst, Ted, Canadian Flanders, and Thistlewick. It’ll be updated for those soon 🙂

      • I would have done but there are no characters I can buy at the moment. Plenty of donuts and nothing worthwile to buy.

      • I have roughly 350, many pulled from the yearbook. There are no more characters for me to buy, so I guess I’ll have to wait for them to return in an event or pop up in a mystery box?

        • I’m surprised there’s that many missing from the yearbook box. I knew there were a bunch, but that seems like quite a bit for sure.

          • The ones NOT in my (everyone’s?) yearbook are
            The Nerds
            The Barflies
            The Vegas Wives
            Amenhotep
            Beatrice
            Brittany
            Chazz
            Citizen Solar
            Circus Acrobat
            The Dantes
            Disappointing Squirrel
            The recentGame of Games characters
            Everyman
            Frankenstein’s Monster
            Furious D
            Seamus
            Hans Mechman
            Hot Flash
            Jerri
            Jim Hope
            Julienstein
            Judge Harm
            Kathy
            Lady Bot
            Lee
            Leon
            The young version of characters
            Wind Lad
Wayne (I may have him already)
            Vicki valentine
            Voodoo Queen
            Nikki
            Nosferatu
            Roy
            Samantha
            Dondelinger
            Peta/Pita
            Morty
            Slick
            Stick Up Walrus
            Sven
            Devil
            Maw Spuckler
            Mexican Duffman
            Great Raymondo
            Xylem

            • Oops, Mexican Duffman is in there

            • Well, some of those are new characters for 2019, which is why they’re not in there. Jerri came out after the box did, likewise with Game of Games characters and Flanders Family reunion too for that matter. And some of those are cash characters. When you take those out the rest of the list makes sense to me. I didn’t realize you weren’t purchasing new characters that hit the game in the age of donut farming.

              • Oh yes, I know the newer ones wouldn’t be in there for obvious reasons. I just started donut farming a few months ago and I was focused on scooping up classic characters from the yearbook. None of the new characters in 2019 interested me enough to spend 150+ donuts on. I did purchase Ted because I had cleaned out the yearbook of characters and skins by then.

            • J. Edgar Hoover isn’t in the box, either.

          • Hey Alissa by my count there are quite a few not in the yearbook. I have roughly just under 300 characters. Started playing last July, so lots of missed characters. I have not bought all the premium characters that have been released this year and I have 20 left in the yearbook. I would guess there are close to a hundred that are pre-2019 still out there. But I could be totally wrong. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

          • I agree, it’s weird, I don’t have Mexican duff man, and the skin wasn’t in my mystery box…

    • This mini-event ends July 31. It’s possible the next event would start the following week, but after that months-long gap between events, it’s hard to predict.

  9. Rusty Shackleford

Very nice event. I purchased everything. I don’t think I have ever done that before. I just wish this event had more acts. There is so much potential here.
