Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

I have trouble searching for info on Black Hole. Specifically how to make it bigger and starts taking in birds, objects et al? I’ve come across several articles mentioning it but not ‘how to work it’. Thank you in advance! 🙂
I don’t understand why so many items are pretty much on clearance in the yearbook and they won’t offer golden goose again. Played since launch, never missed a daily challenge. Even now, after like 8 years??? I rarely go more than a few hours without a check in. Please allow land tokens to be earned. Whether it’s golden goose, in the yearbook, for donuts, money or if we clear the yearbook. Let the game be fun. This is beyond cruel to many longtime and dedicated players

From what I can see, it does nothing. True? I’ve got performers at every other stage, but can not find anything here.

I’m massively redesigning my town – so much so that half the time I cannot remember where I placed items.
I’m so excited, but sooo confused.
I could domwith a golf themed event. Gonna make a 6 hole Par 3 golf course. Why 6 holes? It’s the Simpsons, 9 or 18 holes would’t be silly enough. But i could use more golf items for it.
RIP Russi Taylor…Springfield will not be the same without: Martin, Sherri, Terri,Lewis, Wendell and Uter and a host of other Disney characters…you will be missed.
I know I’m a day late (and a dollar short), but here it goes……….I’ve lost my excitement for this game. I’m tapping through through the motions now. It seems almost pointless. Nay. It IS pointless. There’s not much gas left in this contraption. I can’t get myself to stop playing the game, but if the game servers were to crash tomorrow, and the game never came back, I’d probably be more relieved than sad.
The only thing that might bring me some joy is if the game developers came up with something new for this game. I doubt that will happen. They’re phoning it in now.
I stopped farming doughnuts months ago. There doesn’t seem to be any point to it anymore. I built up a huge stash of 5000+ doughnuts, and I can trade in doughnuts for every new offering, and still maintain 5000+ doughnuts (due to the fact that my XP is so high.
Some of you will call me a braggart. Whatever. I’ve played this game to the fullest, and enjoyed it up until the “big lull” that we went through for a few months. Since then………yawn.
I’ve enjoyed visiting TSTO addicts all these years. Thank you all for all of the help. I will check in from time to time and hope that we can get some new exciting update that we can freak out about. Until then………happy tapping.
Yea. If I was you, I’d stop playing. Some people are just being introduced to this amazingly great game and don’t need their buzz harshed….Yea I’m old school….and as my friends and I used to say way back in the late 80s, early 90s…..we don’t care about your opinion…we’ll make up our own mind. Or just shut up.
Well…certainly…everyone is entitled to their opinion…especially after playing the game for so long. We all ebb and flow…and those who ebb, do so with their own opinions and options. My hope is that a break will be what he needs…until the game woos him back.

Hey, that’s cool. I still have some room to grow with this game so I’m continuing on. But I understand where you are coming from, so no need to apologize, if it’s not fun then it’s not fun.
I am trying to complete the full set of characters. Can anyone answer the following questions.
How many Characters are there and does this number include Characters that you cant send on quests.
Are all the characters available in the Year book or are there some I cannot get?
How do I know how many I already have?

Interesting observation of my neighbors.
Sometimes they have a building that is the mirror image of mine.
Yes, I tap on my building, and it shifts….but It never is the same.
Mine has a door on the left and window the right.
Theirs has a window on the left and door on the right.
Tapping simply changes the direction the building faces.
Interesting.
It might be old news but last week it was announced that Season 19 of The Simpsons will be released on DVD in December which is good news to those (like me) who already have Season 1-18 on DVD who want to watch the episodes and see the special features with the DVDs. Sometimes you can get a token for completing several daily tasks. You know like few donuts or Burns mystery box for completing 5/10/15 daily tasks. But its a bit unpredictable… I think I got it only twice so far…
It’s infrequent but they can show up in daily challenges as rewards for completing a set number. I have one up there now for when I complete 5 tasks.
I had to call EA in order to get Sideshow Bob. After the 3rd call they finally just put him in my game. Part 3 of flaw and order still sits in my task bar and when I open my game the finger points to it. I have learned to live with it!
Has anyone been having trouble logging in? Haven’t been able to play a couple days now, got logged out and keep getting the ‘error processing’ message. Guess I’ll try the reinstall if it doesn’t fix itself today
Now that i keep getting more and more land I wish they would up the itemlimit. I’d really like to improve the golfcourse. Making a par 3 – 9 hole course would be cool. But i would need a ton of trees to make it work like I’d like to.
Is there any way to trigger part 3 of the flaw and order questline to unlock Sideshow Bob. I did parts one and two when I started playing a couple of years ago, now I’m max level and it still hasn’t triggered. He’s my favourite character so would really like to add him to my town.

Yeah I finished the tasks for part 1 and 2 but the the tasks for part 3 didn’t activate

I’ve also been playing for about two and a half years. I can’t remember if i’ve completed any of the Flaw an Order quests, however I do not recall encountering any task references to Sideshow Bob at all.
Although not directed at me, Charles asked if all of the tasks are finished. I can only say that all tasks presented to me have been completed. My taskbar is empty.
Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve been playing for a couple of years, also. I never had any of the Sideshow Bob missions trigger, despite being at level 939 for months. Then, out of apparently nowhere for apparently no reason, “Flaw and Order Part 1”. triggered for me last week. I eagerly sought out Bob, and tapped him, completing the task, and waited for Part 2 to trigger. And waited…. and waited…. and waited….. I guess if it happens, it happens.
I think you need to buy at least one aspirational item, like the stairway to nowhere or the sunsphere, or was that for his brother?
I have all the aspirational items but nothing still happens… think that’s just for Cecil
I could be wrong about this .
Many moons ago Sideshow Bob used to run around in your neighbor’s town and you could tap on him .
I think that you have to tap on him in your Neighbors town three different times to get him as a character in your town .
It will take a while because he don’t show up all the time in your neighbors towns .

No. I’ve been unable to catch Bob in neighbours towns. However, I’ve caught him many times in Other Springfield. Dozens of times probably.

Bonjour bon Dimanche So.. I was trying to get a screen shot of my town, but Wi-Fi is down at work and can’t log in to the game 🙁 and now I am having TSTO withdrawals .. am an addict!!! lol.. I was able to accommodate the Flanders update content on this redesign, so I am happy about that. Now In other parts of life, I also got into a diet, not that I am overweight or anything, just to eat healthier, cutting off sugars and unhealthy foods. so. .yeah.. enjoy and hopefully we can be neighbors in TSTO. 😀

How do I change Mo’s Tavern back to Moe’s tavern? Can’t seem to find a way to change a building’s skin.
Tap Mo’s tavern and you should be able to just swipe left/right then to change skins
Same here, I received Moe’s during a pride event and have no option to change it. The rainbow colours does make it easier to find in my town, though.
Did u tap on it? There should be options that come up above it….
Yes, tried tapping. Nothing happened. I stored it and then placed it and it is back to normal. But would like to be able to change back and forth for variety.
If you tap on it and don’t see the skins, tap on the plus and they should appear.
When you tap on it, there might be a little plus sign, that will maximize the options. Do you have that, from there you can swipe left or right
No, it is not there for Moe’s. The plus sign is there when I click on other buildings, like the coconut babaloo.

Did you get Rollerskate Smithers (RS) & Sconewall Bakery recently? You probably got them from the Yearbook Mystery Box. In part 3 of his questline RS can go to One Night Stan’s, The League of Extra Horny Gentlemen (also in the YMB) or Mo’s so I assume you might have unlocked it from the quest.
Have you tried storing Moe’s Tavern to see if the building goes back to its original look though you could lose the Mo’s skin for it?
I think EA made it so that people who don’t have ONS, TLoEHG or Mo’s will unlock Mo’s in the questline so that there isn’t a stuck quest in the task book.
I just saw that Russi Taylor died Friday. Voice of Martin Prince and others.
Does anyone have a fix for the Fairy Kodos glitch? I got it in the yearbook and she’s stuck at the Simpson house or just floating slowly across my screen. I’ve tried a few things I found searching but nothing seems to work.
I saw that about Russi Taylor too, it made me sad to think that Martin, Uter and Sherri and Terri’s voice is no longer with us. I wonder if they’ll retire the characters like they did Ms.Krabappel?
I also read that as Minnie Mouse she met and married the voice actor who portrayed Mickey, so Mickey and Minnie mouse were a real life, in love couple! That made me happy again.
I saw that too. It’s crazy how many of the VA’s have died in recent years. Hopefully they do something better than what they have done in the past(McClure and Crabapple.)

I’ve not been playing a whole lot recently (sorry neighbors!) as I’ve had a lot of big projects come to a head in the past few weeks and have been spending time in spaces where I can’t bring any electronics. I’ve been decompressing this weekend though and it feels good and am revived to hit the office tomorrow again! I’m trying to prep for my annual trip to our northern MINN cabin on a lake where life just seems to be perfect. Maybe while I’m there I’ll do some designing (don’t tell my work; I officially have no phone/internet there). Mostly looking forward to hammocks, swimming, walking on the various trails we’ve tried to map out over the years on our land, and mostly just really decompressing before the international travel schedule ramps up again!
I enjoyed the Flanders event – funny dialogue and characters. Hoping we get some interesting new content before vacation. Anyway, hope everyone is doing really well!
