Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Anybody else’s game keeps closing down every couple of minutes or nearly immediately after you click a character? It’s only start happening since the newest update

Happy Tuesday! Just downloaded update from store. Splash screen has Marge, and Homer as kids with Lisa and Bart too. Not seeing anything in the game yet, but I will keep my people free. Maybe Wednesday?🤞
Any suggestions on how to fix this? In one of the daily challenges or mini quests it asked for springfielders to buy milk. 5 was enough to complete task but for fun I assigned nearly all my springfielders. Now they are stuck. They keep repeating the task and I cannot use them for anything else. I uninstalled and reinstalled but no luck. Any ideas?

I guess I’m not played enough and missed some sort of mini event perhaps but I wonder if anyone can answer my weird question …
In my game it always has 3-hour Quests for Lenny and I think Carl and Homer as well but I’m not certain but definitely Lenny for getting Insanity Peppers but I do it and it’s always at the top but it doesn’t do anything as far as I can tell and I know it’s from the old event but I don’t understand why it’s still insists on putting it at the top and having me be able to get Insanity Peppers when it doesn’t seem to do anything
I have two 4h tasks of Homer that pop up in his list even before the 6sec clean up Springfield task.
Some kind of glitch I would say.
My interest seems to be waning. I’ve been playing for years and I think I only logged on once or twice for the entire week and didn’t do much while in there. I don’t really donut farm any more as there’s no need. My percentage is sufficiently high enough that I don’t need to get it any higher.
The only thing left for me to do is design my town and I really need to be in the right mood for that pain-staking process.
OK. I get the malaise… but you are just now getting ready to “design your town.” Come on……..what is the value of accumulating loads of stuff, if you aren’t going to do anything with it?
Hopefully I don’t let too many other people down with my style of game play. Past land limitations and the collected crap from years of playing has left me with lots of items cluttered in holding locations and I’d be surprised if I were the only one.
A couple months ago I spent hours designing my casino district and finished it for the most part, but I really don’t look forward to hours of slowly moving pieces (or even groups of pieces) around on my small device. And I feel more strongly about it when it feels like the game is on its descent not ascent.
Next up when I feel like investing that kind of time is an appropriate base of operations for Frink and maybe then Hollywood studio complex or giant theme park.
I’d love to expand my DT Springfield to give all the houses bigger back yards to reflect all the land added since I designed it years ago but that seems far too time consuming. Either way, Cletus’ shack has been overtaken by suburbia and it needs relocated and enlarged as well.
But before that, I suppose I need to clear out all the land tiles except one so I don’t make a vicious cycle of this. I honestly think it’s likely TSTO closes up shop before I get around to “finishing” my town.
I’m not a creative genius designer-type like ebron; I play this game for the quests and haven’t been shy about that in the limited number of times I’ve posted here. They’re what makes this game funny and it’s why I continue to play. Potential quests are why I emptied out the giant mystery box and will be why I continue to get as much as I possibly can.
I would be perfectly find with quests with no prizes and would even love to start getting quests revisiting classic episodes but with a tweak.
Oh, and I forgot to add in my original post, I don’t even set jobs anymore – unless completing a quest or daily challenges. I’m making money without even trying. It probably takes about ten minutes to clear all of my jobs and collect all the earnings if I use the unemployment office, so I don’t bother with that any more. If there’s ever a way to mark your favorite jobs, I’d do that to the ones that make me laugh but otherwise, it’s too tedious to search through ever expanding job lists to identify the ones I like.

And if it tells you a character will be stored, STOP!
Then store more.
Then add water, lots and lots of water
And think,outside the box. So what if a building faces a lake, something that would never happen.
Does it look good?
I built a neighborhood with one of each house or character residence.
Put in a park, ball field, HUGE lots, tiny lots.
And once your ‘neighborhood’ is complete, take a break.
Then, put in a small industrial park. And take a break.
And STORE stuff. Y’all don’t need all that junk.

After shamelessly borrowing design ideas from neighbors, I’ve been able to kinda-sorta develop a rhythm- – – use Water!
One aspect I’m struggling with is my airport. I nixed my logical design, fenced, gates, runways, etc.
I have a terminal, a hanger and a bunch of planes that add Multiplier.
Anyone willing to offer suggestions?

Just a suggestion what about a airport on a island or in the desert or a lot of little airport throughout your town .
You can always have a police station , fire station and a hospital at your Airport .
Military base airport / Area 51 . ( Best For Last )

That’s one of this game’s biggest faults. They give you pieces to do things with, but the special pieces like the airport parts are extremely finite. For example Animal Crossing lets you buy multiple pieces of special items. You can buy more of specific items to get your design perfect.
weekends are short and fast… I wish I could sleep more, but sleeping is a waste of time… the dilemma…
Try convincing my kids about sleep being a waste of time. Lol
They slept away half their summer break!

Just got back from a lovely holiday in the Greek islands. It was a joy not to have to worry about playing tsto. In fact I haven’t done so for a fortnite now 😀🇬🇧
Oooh! Lucky you, hope you a great time! Did a Greek isles cruise 2 years ago, absolutely LOVED Santorini, hope you got to check it out. It was by far my favorite, although Mykonos was great as well.

I’ve told this story before but here it is again I seen on the internet one time this guy slash actor being homeless and he walked up to a group of people that were at a restaurant outside on the patio eating pizza and he asked for slice and they told him no.
They found this homeless man and bought him a pizza and then a little later on the actor come up and asking for slice of pizza and the homeless man said yes sit down with me and enjoy this meal with me .

I just stored my Magic Tower to release Martin from feeding the owls so he can do another task and now I can’t find it!! I’ve scrolled through every item I have under every category. Am I missing something or does anyone have any ideas that may help me recover my Magic Tower? Thank you!
try not looking in the categories, but in the main inventory; sometimes they forget to categorize stuff, and you can only find it again by scrolling through your main inventory.

Sorry I’ve been MIA, but I’ve been in Florida emptying my folks house, selling their cars, re-landscaping their yard and doing 40 years worth of repairs and cleaning…trying to get the house in good enough condition to be sold. Man, did they acquire a bunch of stuff in 40 years! Had to move my Dad to an Alzheimers facility and move my Mom up to Savannah with us, so things have been a little cray-cray for the past 3 weeks. 😜
I’ve been lurking at the Addicts site occasionally, but just don’t have the energy lately to even open the game. Got most of the furniture that had to go out today, and have help coming tomorrow to pack all the clothes for Red Cross pickup. The garage took 3 trailer loads to empty over the last couple days, but it’s finally empty too. A cautionary tale for all you garage “hoarders” out there…sooner or later, someone will have to empty it, and there’s gonna be a lot of swearing going on!😆
Anyway…beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel and there’s only one bad room left to wade thru…the dreaded office! I think at least 20 trees must have given their lives to make all that useless paper…I’ve already found warrantee info for 30 year old boom boxes and waffle irons(that are long gone) and years and years worth of cancelled checks and bank statements to banks that no longer exist.
Soooo…I bought a fire pit…let the bonfires begin!🔥🔥🔥
Hope to be done with most of the major stuff by the 15th…at least that’s the plan…and can get the painters, the industrial strength cleaning crew, and the carpet cleaners in after the last scheduled pickup.
Landscaping help is coming tomorrow, and fence repair on Thursday, so maybe I’ll just take a break on Wednesday…or the sprinkler pump may be back from repair by then…you never know…😁👍
And when you’re done there i have this basement that needs emptying….
Good luck with all that. Had to do that with my brother (and our spouses)when my grandparents passed because it was too hard on my dad. Holy smoke was there just…STUFF! I did enjoy finding money they hid throughout their house and forgot about. My favorite was the $500 i found in the metal ice tray in the freezer…..lol

Had a quiet holiday and a some quiet tapping. Just came to wonder during my break, how many objects can one make to fly through ones’ screen at once.
The balloon, bi plane and drone are easiest with the 4h tasks. Arnie is I believe a 12hr task.

Yes, Crazy Cat Lady flies her cat sleigh for 12 hours. Also, Marge flies Santa’s sleigh with Maggie with an option for Santa’s Little Helper to lead the sleigh all for 12 hours. Where do I get the flying balloon?
Sorry, Homer flies Santa’s Sleigh for 24 hours and Marge flies the Greyhound Sleigh with Maggie with an option for Santa’s Little Helper to lead it, all for 12 hours.
So, Homer, Marge(with Maggie and Santa’s Little Helper if you choose), Arney Pie, Crazy Cat Lady and Norbert Van Houten all fly something. You also said you have a hot air balloon, I do not but would like to know how to get it. I hope this helps. 🙂
Hey Mamabear, great stuff. Would be great to get all characters flying at once. The hit air balloon with $ sign is a task for Arthur Fortune. Not quite sure whether he is now available in the yearbook but he came with the Fortune Megastore in 2018 Jobs event.

Welcome back
Took the game back up last year after a really long hiatus and have played daily ever since. I’ve now managed to clear out the yearbook catching up on a lot of missed content and currently have 325 playable characters which I believe is roughly 100 short of the complete set?
So is there any way I’ll be able to get these characters? Nothing seems to pop up in the vault and none are available fr
om the store so is it just a case of me having missed certain events and those characters never reappearing? Stephen Hawking is one I see in other towns that I don’t have, maybe the removed him after his death but 100 is quite a lot to be missing all the same.
They might show up in some future event, then again they might not. My guess would be that you are mostly missing content from recent events.
I myself am missing a handful of playable characters. I have probably acquired about 300 in the last year and a half.
If you have followed this site lately you’ll see a lot of uncertainty as to what EA is doing with the game and where it is going.
And a not to all of my friends who have vandalized me today: ha-ha, I probably got you first 😉

Can anyone tell me if the Pageant Stage has a use?
As I redesign, I’m finding opportunities for characters to perform at most other venues. But I haven’t found a use for this item.

I know Lisa has 2 tasks at the Pageant Stage but I’m unsure if there are others: one is on her own and the other is with Milhouse and Ralph. I think the times are 8 and 12 hours but the tasks are in Lisa’s task list and not from tapping on the stage which is annoying since the Homerpalooza stages, Springfield Bowl and the Open Air Stage have the tasks at their stages.
