Simpsons Babies is in full swing in our pocket-sized towns! What are your initial thoughts on the event? Excited to get baby versions in your Springfield? Ready for Week 2 to start this week? (yes I know some of you are stuck with a crashing bug, I’m talking about thoughts about the event content beyond that…)

Just wasted an hour putting the game on a Samsung 3 lite tablet. Version 4.39 would not even start.

I’m happy we are having regular updates again🙏 I like the event, dialogue and characters we are getting but other then Frink’s house none of the buildings really appeal to me. Think they are going to end up in the great black hole 🕳 of storage! Bleeding Gums cloud looks cool. Guess I’ll have to wait and see what comes with the new premium this Wednesday. I’m guessing Snowball 1 is a NPC? Anyway that’s my 2 cents this week. Happy Tappin Friends!!
I like these updates. I find the current format much superior to the alternatives for the following reasons.
First, and foremost, is the ratio of dialogue too tapping. With these updates I get some almost daily. With the multi-week, grind intensive events it can go days with nothing to say.
Second, the pacing fits into an otherwise hectic life. I have fun and stress is kept manageable.
At least the zoom glitch enabled us to play. Our towns were ugly but we didn’t miss out. Now we’ve got bupkis.
I have the crash issue but I moved my Simpsons home and crash derby to the middle of nowhere so I could collect the few broken toys each 4 hours. It allows maybe 9 or 10 character collections per tap (more than that and it WILL crash). I have been able to collect land tiles (GGR) and Kwik-E-Mart farm it is just rEAlly annoying. PLEASE FIX ASAP EA!!!!!
Hi, my game was crashing on Bluestack and on my old Android phone. So I borrowed my daughters old Ipad and was able to play there for a while. She was going on a trip this week, so I bought my self a new Huawei tablet with the newest Andoid 9 OS. The tablet was on sale (half price) probably because of the issues they have with US. Game is running very smoothly and fast.
I really hope they allow us to buy all the characters when they finally fix this crashing issue. I can literally play only for 30 seconds at a time so I have no chance to farm nor buy doughnuts in order to get the items (it’ll probably crash while buying anyway). I also have to rush through the dialogue, so the story is lost on me at this point and I have no idea if the “Youtheniser” actually did anything to my town or not.
I’m feeling so left out. I keep hearing things about the the event – I’ve been able to get online for just a moment – got the gil’s deal and one of the new houses – but that’s all i get to do. can’t do anything else. Makes me sad. I’ve been playing for a long time and love designing my areas, to the point where i’m really happy with how most things are.
I wish ea would just let us know what’s going on.

I think that the crashing glitch will be here until the end of the 4 week event, based upon the last pathetic attempt to fix kindle problems. Luckily i can play my kindle game on a samsung tab 4 , just have to switch in and out.
Strange thing, i can play on the tablet but not my newer model android phone.
Who knows when or if EA will ever release an update without any glitches!
I just want to put it out there that the crashing bug isn’t just happening on Amazon products. I play on Kindle, Husband plays on Bluestacks and son plays on a Samsung Galaxy tablet. Or rather should say played, since all three of us have got the crashitus. *sigh* According to EA the issue is supposed to be with older device but my sons tablet is a week old and the laptop my husband uses is less than a year. Granted when you buy a new computer or phone it is obsolete by the time we get home with it I don’t think that we should have to buy a new one every year or month just to play one game. We can’t live a fillet mignon lifestyle on a bologna diet!
I think I read somewhere that Apple has deeply invested in EA.
I haven’t had any troubles playing on my iPad.

Hey all,
I finished “the younger games part 5” and it’s saying “you’ve completed this part of the story” – should the second set of quests come up or do they start on a certain day? It says quests until September 4 but as I see it’s a multipart setup.
Anyway, if anyone knows if I’m missing something please let me know as sometimes you have to trigger a certain character to get the new quests going.
Serious question, not sarcastic, is this you’re first tsto event?
This event structure follows the same as the previous ones. Each week a new part of the questline launches, for four weeks.

I’ve had the game since the month after it launched and been coming to your site as long as you’ve had it! That’s why I knew to ask here and not worry about if it was a stupid question 🤣🤣🤣.
I think baby homer’s D’oh is one of the best additions to the game in a long time!

Happy last weekend of dummerhave had a “neighbor request” for 2 weeks now. When i go look…no one us actually there to add/decline. Ive done all the firce stop yadda yadda yadda fixes and no change. No biggie compared to other stuff going on, but just curious if I’m missing some thing?

I’ve had this happen several times…when you go to look for the request, it appears that no one is there. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of your friends list, there is a heading “origin friends not in game”…the requestor is probably there. I’ve always declined these requests, because if they’re not in the game, who are they? Hope this helps.😁

One of my kids “friended” me through his Facebook ID, not an EA ID. Every so often, that ID showed up as a “new neighbor”.
Not much game play this week. I own an Amazon Fire 8 and the game keeps crashing after 10-20 seconds. Just enough time to collect my free land token twice a day from GGR. This waiting is frustrating with NO information coming out of EA. A few things are clear. The automatic updates should be manual and should be reversible (by keeping two versions in the AppStore?). Still I got to read two books this week (Brad Thor and James Patterson), watch some Yankee baseball, and did some work around the house. Yes, there IS life beyond this game. Thanks for the break, EA!
My wife plays on a Kindle, and is having a hell of a time getting anything done – she gets 10 seconds max. Anyone here have any suggestions or hints for Kindle users?
Normally I would suggest playing on Nox or BlueStacks on a PC/Mac but we’re having crashing issues too. On BlueStacks I get a whole 30 seconds lol
My game crashes within seconds, once loaded. I can tap 1-2 items and it crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Nothing helps. I sure hope they get this fixed. Some of us JUST GOT OUR GAMES back. The last (glitchy) update made everything ZOOMED at all times. With no ability to make it smaller and they (EA) left it like that for MONTHS.! This sucks.

I was looking at my character inventory to figure out which ones I am missing.
I expected that a lot of the characters that I was missing would be the ones where you have to spend real money on.
Alas, there are three of these real cash characters that I have, but didn’t spend anything on; maw spuckler, sven golly and a witch.
Did anyone spend real cash on these and later discover they were available for in game currency (donuts)?
By the way here is the 411 on my characters. I am talking about characters that are playable through the employment bureau, so no spuckler brood.
I have 412 of the 423 currently available, that’s 419nfrom the current TSTO list plus the four that became available this past week.

Barbarian Homer was a prize from the Clash of Clones event. Unfortunately for those who didn’t play that event, I don’t recall ever seeing him offered for doughnuts. At least….not yet.😏

Happy tapping all, Glad there’s a new event but already finished act 1 just wish there was more to each event rather than the 4 hour cycle.
The weather here has gone mad with rain, floods and thunderstorms and any outdoor activities cancelled, on holiday for 2 weeks and looks like a wash out.
My wife is half way through her radio therapy and coping well 😄, have a good week all stay safe and stay dry 🌦️🌧️🌩️⛈️
