Just got off the phone with EA help. I told them how happy I was that the game can now be played on Amazon tablets and suggested that they put Baby Frink back in the store so many of us could add him to our games. If you want him, please contact EA with a similar request and, maybe, they will make him available to us.
Here’s something interesting. Woke up this morning, started the new round of prizes… Thought I would just get things going. Closed out the game, made coffee and then went back into the game. Got a pop up asking for my age and to accept the terms of service.
Gamed opened up and all my donuts were gone and about 90mil of in game cash was gone.
Then I it tells me I haven’t done any of the event at all. So I had 3 weeks of playing to do.
Contacted EA.. they called me back within 15 minutes of my filling out the form. Spent about a half hour on the phone and they could not fix the issue. It seems somewhere in all of this.. my game reverted back to the end of Game of Games. Lost all of the Flanders Family reunion and all the premium buildings and characters for that game and for the current game.
They did all they could, and will see if they can reinstate anything regarding premium stuff I lost.
I did get my donuts back so that was a plus… it’s disheartening to go from 16256 donuts to ZERO.
I guess I will just plug along and hopefully be able to get what I am missing in re releases.

I wasn’t at the time. During my contact with EA.. I logged out and back in.. I got my donuts back at that time but nothing else that I lost.
Ahhh well.. all is good. At least I didn’t lose everything like I did just after the stonecutters event.
I was logged in at the time. the issue occurred when I went back into the game and it asked for my age and to check the box to accept terms of service.
when I was on the phone with EA.. that is when I logged out and back in and got my donuts back but nothing else I lost.
Yea that box usually pops up when you’re logged out.
I am experiencing a similar issue – opened the game this morning and entered age etc, however I am not able to log in at all.
A TSTO Puzzler: I have a neighboreeno who often tags all 4 of my taggable properties (Moe’s, School, Police Dept. and City Hall) at the _same_time_!!! I just don’t understand how that is possible, since you only get 3 actions per 24 hours. And I clear all the tags once a day at least. Can anyone explain how this is possible? It makes me wish there was a chat feature with neighbors so I could just ask ‘em!

I’ve been playing for about 3 years and have played hard, have got to the point where I get every character available now and have cleaned them out of the mystery box etc. I have around 360 so am a good 50 short. Would love to see those missing ones available somehow. I would also like to see a pricey mystery box that had all the Gil deals in it. .
Are your missing characters from the Halloween or Christmas time? They are often only available then. Also, Save your donuts for black Friday. You might see others available then.
I am stuck, I can’t stop crashing and I somehow got in sideshow you but there’s no way of backing out and the few times I had it cleared the button wouldn’t come up
Okay the daily challenge got me out of that page but the game is still nearly unplayable
EA just dropped an update on the server that is supposed to fix that issue

I usually keep Lisa on the 12 hour eliminator task (except for events). There is a chance that you could win a nuclear warhead. That’s worth about 2.25% in bonus XP.
I thought it was a one time prize win.. i’ll start sending Lisa more often on this task..
Muscular Marge is my favorite along with Burns’ fake muscle suit. Wish there was a task to have them “flex at muscle beach” along with Ruth Powers.

I’ve always played TSTO on iphone, but am considering getting an ipad. Wondering if someone who has done both can tell me what the game will be like on ipad. Specifically will I see more of my town at once or will i see the same amount of the town with everything being bigger. Thanks!
When I got my new iPad Pro a few months ago I took a photo of my screen and it was just a little bit more zoomed out, but mostly things are just a lot bigger. Makes finding things easier, helps a lot for the where’s Maggie mini game.
Guys I’m so sad, but after 5 years, I think I might be done with tsto. I just can’t get into it anymore.. 😞

I have done it multiple times.. if you have the land, don’t NUKE it since, I feel that I lost some items that had %% bonus attached to them.. just start at one corner and go from there, try to leave some space to add future buildings and decorations.. 😉
Hi everyone,
I don’t know if this has happened to anyone before and if there is a way to fix it. I started KEM farming a couple of months ago, my bonus % is around 330, and I normally farm between 32 and 36 KEM at a time. When I sell them they sell at around 56,000 to 64,000. But this last time they sold at around 111,000, and when I tried placing them again they started at 14,400 instead of 220 for the first one. So now it is costing me a lot more money to farm than before. Has this happened to anyone else?
You probably stored some instead of selling. Check your inventory. If you have some in there, sell them.
Are you combining that with the Monty burns mystery box?
I believe that that is the cheapest way to get XP.

Having been a player for years I’ve always frowned on those that use cheats / mods all the time. Well after years of playing by the rules I finally had someone use one for me…. I didn’t get donuts or cash but the one building I don’t think I would ever be able to acquire through legitimate means…. The Donut Factory. It is producing donuts – that’s not why I wanted it – I just wanted the building. Being totally honest I have to say that over the years I must have spent hundreds of pounds on donuts and courtesy of farming I do have about 5000 at any time.
I strongly disapprove of the use of any hacks. There are ways to get ahead within the confines of the rules of the game.
Does EA check for hacks? Kind of thought they would and boot people that use them, that’s why I never use them—but I am not judging anyone who does.
On the other hand, they allow farming, and I farm, so maybe they don’t care.
If your game is hacked and you reach out to EA for support they can/will/have denied support since you’re using an “altered” game.
Hacking does violate EA’s ToS.

Agreed. Of course with farming you aren’t altering the game in any way, just taking advantage of a loophole.
That is correct. They usually can tell if you’re playing a modded game if they have to go into your Springfield for any reason.
since you can donut farm.. I don’t see the why for the building need, and if it’s just for decoration. its not worth it, then think that maybe now they, (people that created the hack) have access to your device, or some hidden code to garnish your information, and now you are welcomed to the underbelly of the internet, the hidden parts, where your information is shared and abused.. just a thought..
Has anyone else been taking full advantage of the yearbook box sale thing? I’ve gotten so many characters, great buildings and brought my bonus up nearly 150%. Just wondering if anyone has gotten the most out of it like I have.
Oh yes, spent 300 donuts on the yearbook today. Getting tougher to find things I want so most just gets stored. Between the yearbook and all those tennis courts, my bonus is now at 1400%.
Was going to take a break from tsto this weekend but the rains have moved in, so I am sitting here enjoying the thunderstorms while playing.

I know this site generally shies away from anything even remotely critical of the show or the game, but this video is really well done and I think your relatively small user base will find it interesting.
So I don’t agree with everything in this video to say the least… But it is an interesting take. And perhaps worth a watch
With this event ending on the 4th, I imagine we’ll get a mini-event from the 11th to 25th, with a Halloween event beginning October 2, hopefully.
This is the weirdest event. I finish each act in less than 48 hours, and then I’m
left twiddling my thumbs for 5 days…lol
Instead of twiddling your thumbs, you need to tent your fingers and exclaim “exxxx-cellent!”.
And if you don’t, I’ll “release the hounds!”.
I am finally no longer stuck from the game crashing. My game still crashes, but at least it saves some progress. I DO want EA to stop doing the full screen whiteout. Pretty sure that was my problem. Had it with Yakuza boss, This event when the Youthenizer clicks, and when tapping on the Seizure robot. Here’s what I did in case it helps anyone else: I logged into my account from a different device (very old gen iPad w/ wide plug), progressed the event story past when my iPhone 6 would crash. Logged back on iPhone 6, blam! Progress saved!! Just in time to get the Gil deal. Hope this helps anyone with their crashing game. Cheers!!

Hi again. I finally maxed out the game money at $4+ billion (whatever the number is). So what to do with the cash? I stopped farming KEM’s a while back, because I don’t really need to farm anymore to maintain my doughnut count. My XP % is at 1633.95%. So I decided- what the heck? I’ll buy rat trap delivery trucks for some laughs and doughnuts. I play with the XP collider turned on all of the time. Why not? It takes me no time at all to recoup the 25 doughnuts spent for a ten day run. So I bought 32 rat trap delivery trucks and got 40 doughnut try’s! I always go for three doughnuts. So that’s 120 doughnuts received for buying 32 rat trap delivery trucks. So I’m killing two birds with one stone. I’ve found a use for the in game cash that nets me huge amounts of doughnuts and I don’t have to farm KEM’s to do it.

I have let my xp collider turn off. I found that when you have enough donuts, and their are only a handful of characters or buildings that I need. having it turned on and having to get donuts 20-30 times a day kind of interferes with game flow.
If I ever need donuts I can always turn it back on.
How do you get your bonus% so high? Mine is around 800% and creeps up very slowly with winning torches at the dig site. Any advice much appreciated.

Kind of annoying that they switched the free land tokens for some donuts. Don’t need donuts but do need land tokens.
Another two great books this week. David Baldachi’s Redemption was very good and James Patterson’s Unsolved was a thriller. At the rate EA is working on this Amazon Fire / kindle problem, I will have 60 land tokens to use and a completed summer reading list when this is over (assuming the problem is fixed with the next update in early September.). The other plus is that I can see all the fun this event would have been by watching a bunch of Youtube videos. If the problem is not fixed by mid September I guess I’ll give the Family Guy game a try.

Believe it or not, I am on level 939, yet I only have 2 of the following of each of the colored (read that as coloured if you are Safi); 2 brown, 2 blue, 2 orange, 2 pink, 2 purple and 2 white houses.
Believe it or not, I have the Ayn Rand School for Tots, but not Mrs. Sinclair. These came out at the time I started tapping. I was able to get the school, but started too late to get the Mrs. Every time that the character has been available for donuts, it has been as a combo with the school. (Yes, I mention that a lot, I hope that EA reads some of these posts and will get the subtle hint.)
