The long teased Krusty event has finally hit our games! I feel like a clown college, clown-like, teaser came out years ago. And FINALLY EA put it in our games! Better late than never, huh? So what will happen in the new update? Will Krusty get a little coin? Will he live to scheme another day? Will he take advantage of people trying to help him? Well you’ll have to read the dialogue to find out! (of course, we know the answer to the last question is of course. Krusty ALWAYS takes advantage!)
Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes. As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini-event is your typical standard mini-event. Follow the questline to unlock prizes and call it a day…until the next event.

Tons of Bart screens lately, but also another problem I haven’t had in a while. The event keeps screwing up the coin totals. Had 105, and needed 15 to advance to the next prize, so I set Sideshow Raheem and 2 others on jobs – should have been 18. Now after collecting those 3 jobs, it shows 104/120! It actually went down by one coin! Screwed up the previous levels as well, and I’m really curious to see what happens next. Anybody else seeing anything weird like this?
I’ve been getting the Bart screen lately, too. On top of that, while DF, I’m now getting the message about reaching 10000 items in my Springfield, so, even with a ton of land due to the Golden Goose Realty, I’m about 3k items short of the hard item limit. Guess I’ll go lightly on my Halloween Event design.
Trying to decide if I should put all of the items for this event in my Itchy & Scratchy Land. My Pleasure Island type area in there is already filled, but I guess I could make an expansion to it or make a second area for “adults only”. For giggles, I could place it next to my Praiseland, which I placed outside of the Itchy & Scratchy Land walls and put a bunch of dead trees inside the PL walls to make it look like it was once a part of ISL but was abandoned…poor Ned, they finally put a land inside ISL that he could enjoy, then promptly abandoned it.
A mini event and then Halloween!! 🎃👻😈🧟♀️🧟♂️ I’ll take it!! I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I saw the update! Picked up Sideshow Raheem right away. Nothing on the prize track I’m overly excited about, of course I’ll take the donuts! An event is an event to me and something is better then nothing!! So I will calmly tap my way through our mini event and let my excitement for Halloween build! Happy Day Friends and Happy Tappin!! 👀

I always get the Bart screen when I’m selling and rebuying rat trap trucks. Coincidence? Sorry EA but i’m not the type who is going to use real money in a game app. If I get a free apple gift card for 3 dollars maybe. Anyway all this is going to do is get me to quit playing. I basically only play because of the yearbook anyway, but this game is such a memory processor suck. Every time I try to redo a section my phone gets insanely hot too. I don’t know how people can nuke their towns and redo them. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Sideshow Raheem w Adult Krusty Retreat (spent the sprinkles instantly) and that extra Event Currency at Premium rate is worth it (L-EA-Z-Y has noticed Tappers are finishing Mini Events quickly, this time earning Event Currency takes more tries every 4 Hours)! 🤔
For those getting the BART SCREEN OF DEATH ? I’m getting that, too sometimes (even with fast internet!) and we can all blame L-EA-Z-Y (heck, blame Disney, too if you want – this is the sort of problems their online games offered up in the past and they never bother to fix anything!) 🤔
If it’s fun? Keep Tapping and enjoy the new Event Prizes (24 🍩’s is a nice gift, thanks EA!). If the Premium Content is more worthwhile (I suspect it will be for some, I don’t blame you!) then enjoy that and Farm 🍩’s for THOH Event coming next. 🤔

Also have the BS (Bart Screen) while doing RT mobile harvesting.
Most of the time I buy 10 RT mobiles and get all the attempts. But after a second batch of 10 EA seems to catch on and indeed the BS starts.
I tried alternating with Blood mobiles, selling them before buying new ones. But alas, every time the BS will come to haunt me….
Not that it is much of an issue as we are still talking freebies at the end, but I should have been swimming in donuts by now.
If anybody has any hints how to avoid the BS, all ears.

There is nothing in the App Store in iOS as of 6:53 Thursday? What event? Is this an Eastern Time Zone thing? I thought it was starting yesterday? Puzzled I am!
It hit yesterday, regardless of your timezone.
Try hard closing your App Store and restarting your device. Also, search your app store for Tapped Out, don’t rely on the “Update” list. Often times apps don’t appear there until several days after the update hit.
I do not know what hard close means. I tried to upswipe the App Store icon from the main screen that displayed all the open items. Shut down, and opened. No change. Nada? Puzzled I am.

I have an iPad and the update was in there yesterday. Sometimes you have to refresh the update screen to get it to show up. I’m not sure which version of iOS you have, but I have version 12.1. The way to refresh the update screen is to pull it down until you see the loading circle (I think that is what it is called). Hope this helps.
From various sources, by attempting to follow, voila’ the Update appeared. Now have first building, bought all Premium offerings from Store, munching on. Thanks

Same all round, I put in a complaint to EA, as should everyone else who has the problem, and the sound at start up, game lag, either support the game or turn it off.
The game was unplayable for days, but yesterday I only got one Bart screen and none today. Fingers crossed.
