It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

We’re in the final days of Krusty’s Last Gasp! But don’t worry, he won’t be headed to Jewish Heaven. No, no, there’s a much better place for Krusty and his Gasps…Halloween! Fingers Crossed Halloween hits us next week (Oct 2nd is my prediction)…and that it doesn’t suck. Thoughts on Halloween? Thoughts on this mini-event? Or have we beaten it to death?

Hi would like to know if anyone else lost their yearbook. Mine vanished with about 20 items left. Did anybody else have this problem?
Happy Monday everyone, rather than asking what everyone wants to see at Halloween in the game, what would you all like to see appear and return for Thanksgiving and Black Friday even though they both are another 2 months away but you can also add what you’d like to see for Halloween.
I would like to see a particular building named after a specific bird, colour and name of real estate make a return for Black Friday, possibly in a gold token box if it returns. I would also like to see some premium babies make a return as well along with some Szylaks for Thanksgiving.
I wish we could tap the Lemonade Express & send the minis there, like we can with Moe’s Express. I have mine side by side in my Glastonbury tribute area……🌻🧡X
I’m actually going to get to finish this event!!!!! Today, in fact, and I’m so happy. I only hope my luck holds for Halloween.

Life is going good, I am going to work weekends AGAIN for the 4th time this year… I HATE it and I Like it…. the good, I can play TSTO game more often, watch movies, TV shows or draw/doodle, the bad? the inconvenience.. its the 4th time this year.. I feel like they are going to screw me over and make me work another month of weekends before the year ends.. NO incentive pay, its normal pay.. but oh well.. so yeah, my life and mind are a crazy convoluted place of ideas and things, but I enjoy it every minute.
is there a way to request any characters in the game? both new suggestions or requests for returning characters? 😀

Despite the frequent Bart screen still getting some designing done. Getting the perimeter of Transylvania spiffed up for Halloween, already got my skins on and Official HQ out. Trying to block out my recently relocated Wizarding Magic area and moving Cletus’ moonshine operation to The Outlands. After a long time I’ve finally squared off my land and am plopping down buildings intended for Cypress Creek.
Wondering if we could get a new add me list? The last one is a year old. I’ve culled off a lot since then and I thought maybe it would generate more interest if we Addicts had an informal designated visiting time. Say Sat PM to Sun PM. We’d be more inclined to set up character vignettes if we knew there’d be an audience for them. I’d definitely like to add some of our regular community here who enjoy town design. I know, the Bart Screen. Hopefully it is fixed soon.
I’ll save my by now broken record Halloween wishes for Thurs. Musings. Tried to watch Addicts Pre-recorded got a broken link, tried to listen to audio but Patric was cutting out so bad I skipped over to 2 Pats in a Pod and listened to that instead. I liked it. Happy the Pack went 3-0, sad it looks like the Seahawks might not pull it out against the Saints. Think I’ll go check out SonicBoi’s playlist while I finish up big bedroom re-org project I started before going out for sushi dinner with the family tonight. Over all, a pretty good day! I would like to congratulate my husband Adey and Brandine Spuckler on the birth of their first baby Dubya today. He carefully planned for the birth to take place on my birthday!
Congrats! 1 Spuckler birth down, 42 more or so to go.
An idea I completely stole from the EA forums. Plant the 90 day corn on Sept. 26 and harvest it Christmas Day. I’ve been playing for years and never ran across the idea before, but it sounds like an awesome idea.

I too, am getting frustrated of getting kicked off the server several times when I play. I’ve been playing for YEARS and the only thing for me to do is farm donuts when I’m done with the current game. I’m stuck at Level 939 and topped off with $4.295 billion…I wish the Golden Goose was available somehow

I think the majority of players would end up either dead or in hospital from alcohol poisoning with the frequency that it’s happening if we all took up this game.

On another note, a new game will be available on Android about the show American Dad.
It is still in development so dunno when it will be ready.

Happy Sunday, everyone! I’ve been having a glitch in my game for about a month, and I’m just wondering if anyone else is and if there’s a fix. Several times a week, I’m required to do the same update of 1716 MB. It takes FOREVER and then there’s nothing different in my game. I also get the Bart “can’t connect” screen every few minutes while trying to play. I play on an iPhone 8+, in case that’s relevant. This glitch is driving me crazy and making it nearly impossible to play the game. Can someone tell me if they’ve experienced this and if there’s a solution? Thanks!

Just started playing again after a bit of an absence; been enjoying it again. One small question, though…while usually, the tasks for a character are listed in order of duration, my Homer’s first task is a 60 minute “Hide”…is this at the top of everyone’s Homer?
No – sounds like you have an undone task. Have you tried doing it, to see whether it clears? It may be related to a decoration or building you put into storage. My Lisa has one of those, because I didn’t want to do the CHUM questline.
I’ve done it a few times…no change. GE hides in the house.
