We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Simpsons are back! An all-new episode airs tonight! The Season 31 Premiere, are you excited?!
A surprise mini-event hit our games last with, Cthulhu’s Revenge. What are your thoughts on the mini-event so far? Getting you excited for Halloween? Are you missing your Sploosh like Patric?
Speaking of Halloween…almost October (Tuesday), have you decided on your Halloween costume yet? (or your kids costumes) Candy you’ll be giving out? Getting excited for THOH?

I’ve played Simpsons tapped out for years now. Used to be fun with all kinds of events. All different from each other. Often involving friend challenges. Now they are all the same. Few characters do a few same jobs over and over for boring content and occasional extra character that means nothing once event is finished.
What happened to the fun stuff? Can’t continue waiting for it to get better for much longer.
Such a shame.
I’m just wondering what will happen with the yearbook? Is it a permanent feature? Will it go away in the near future? Will they refresh it with new items? I still have a good 400 items in the yearbook, but most of it is things I don’t want.
Oh and bring on the holiday season Halloween – Christmas Mystery Boxes. I’ve got donuts to spend.

Usually I don’t use donuts to speed through events but I did so during the last prize of this event as I’m so bored of having to log in every 4 hours and send Homer, Bart, Lisa, etc on the same task. L’EA’ZY should just scrap the mini-events altogether since the major events are now more like mini-events. The upcoming Halloween event better be worth it, but I’m not holding my breath. The older events (including mini ones), while not always perfect, were much more fun and creative. Nonetheless, this event is better than the last one (Krusty’s Last Grasp) since we get a new character.
Still getting Bart screens, but not as frequently as some other players have been experiencing. Bird chirping sound efx during the load screen still occurs for some strange reason. Tired of enduring this, which was also why I sped through this event with donuts. Good thing I’m a donut farmer with high XP bonus. If I was still a freemium player with a low XP bonus or if I was a new player that started playing this year, I would have given up on this game months ago.
I agree with an earlier comment about how ridiculously long it takes to collect all the in-game money and XP. Also, if I try to tap a specific character or building, all the XP and money are in the way and I have to keep rapidly tapping until I clear everything to tap the character or building. So annoying!
I can go on and on about the flaws of this once-great, “Life-Ruining Fun” game and the additions that could be added to make it fun again, like revising the Town Census (hate scrolling down A-Z with nearly 400 characters), “Select All” button for tasks (if I see another “Send All Springfielders to”… task, I’ll go crazy), L’EA’ZY letting players know in advance if there is an upcoming update or downtime while they fix errors or improve the servers, etc.
Nowadays, I’m spending more Android time playing Mario Kart Tour.
Do we have an open discussion for the server issue? I really want to do some remodeling for Halloween but I can’t get anywhere disconnecting every 3-5 minutes. EA isn’t saying much (if anything) and from what I can tell it’s happening to most players.
I don’t know why, but mine suddenly stopped – well, went back to the more occasional issue it used to be, anyway
Honestly, I thought maybe they fixed something with the mini-event, but apparently not.
It wasn’t just crashing either – my game sped up, too. Maybe I somehow got bumped to a different EA server or something, and it’s a server issue…
Sorry you weren’t as lucky, but hold out hope – I had it, did nothing, and it suddenly got better, like a Halloween miracle.
The server issue is pretty bad for me also. I get MAYBE 5 or 10 minutes on-line and then it kicks me off. Sometimes I can get right back in without a delay, but most of the time I have to wait 20 seconds before I can try again. Now, 20 seconds doesn’t sound like a lot of time, but multiply the aggravation by a dozen disconnections in an hour ………. Bleh.
I was excited initially for this event but for me except for the writing has fallen a little flat. I’ve gone from tapping 5 times a day to twice a day as it takes several minutes to get in and almost 30 minutes to clear my town with that dang bart screen hitting at least once but most of the time much more. In the meantime, I’m trying to remodel my town without blowing it up. It’s a lesson in patience. Anyhow, I hope the rest of you are enjoying this event and designing your towms.
Goooooooooooood Morning Vietnam….. or Springfield!!! it is nice to see all the wonderful ideas for the new content.. hopefully you wont mind when I use them in my town 😉 .. in my game it seems that I am seeing the Bart screen less and less times… so hopefully EA is improving their servers 🙂 and now am just waiting for that All Hallows Eve event in TSTO…. the real one, not this mini event we just had…
in NON TSTO matters… I was kind of sick on the weekend… my eyes got puffy and extremely itchy.. as of matter of fact they are still itchy and one still puffy… I play Halo 5 (grinding to level 152), and well… playing with 1 eye open is not fun.. I gave up after 4 games of going terribly negative.. and the grind is not easy… I am currently level 148 (360,000 point away from 149) and from level 149 to level 150 is going to take 6 million points @ an average of 6k points a game… around 40 days.. then it takes 11million and next level, the last push is 15million… so yeah… an outlook of 382 days to achieve that last level if I can play 14 games per day @ 6k points per match… which will give about an average of 86,XXX points per day.
Anyways… Stay positive, make good choices and if you are ready to sin, invite me and lets do it together… muahahaha..
PS… I have been lucid dreaming more often… I might have the hang of it now.. so if you are into Lucid Dreaming, let me know in the comments. 🙂
I just want EA to fix the crashing issues before the ‘proper’ halloween event! It is driving me crazy!
What makes you think THIS isn’t the Halloween event? I’m skeptical that EA is going to give us anything else for Halloween.
Because this ends nowhere near Halloween. Even EA’s not that lazy/stupid. If this were, in fact, the only Halloween event, EA would have launched it 10/23 with an end date of 11/6.
I have one neighbor that always shows as being in the level 200’s. Currently at 227. She has been by neighbor for more than 3 years. When I check for neighbors who haven’t played in a while, she always shows as playing recently.
How does she always seem to stay in level 200’s? What’s up with that. It just seems a little odd to me.
i think they probably just sign in and do nothing but the daily tasks…. I could be wrong..
I want to apologize to my neighbors for not visiting more often, but I’m getting Bart screens every 2-3 stops. It just takes too long to visit everyone.

Feel like this this current event is a bit meh for me.the writing is great again but just getting fed up with the same old formula. Hopefully they change it for the main Halloween event but then again only on the basis of it actually being playable if they ever fix the BSOD.
has anyone anyone else watched season 2 of disenchanted yet I really enjoyed it myself and was a significant improvement from series 1 the characters were I felt were developed much more and all of the stories in each episode were great and made me want to come back and watch the next asap.

I watched a few episodes from s1.. it was ok, funny, but need to watch more to truly give an honest opinion. 🙂
S1 is a very slow burner at the start I found and took me about 3-4 episodes to get going but once you get through them initial episodes the show does become a lot better.

I found that its called the Wreaked Brown House but I remember that doesn’t earn cash and xp though I did find mine at the very end of the buildings category in storage.

But I’m actually thinking about the game.
Non-TSTO – I got my internet back up. I’m now at 35 to 75 instead of 1.5 to 5.5.
So issues are GAME related, including being transferred to seeing Bart’s face instead of my or my neighbors town.
And load speed is GAME related.
And ‘Google ‘ searches are fast.
I’m loving the new prizes, although I haven’t decided what to do with the oyster booth yet. It’s just sitting on the beach for now. The graveyard was easy to place in 🧟♀️Creepville Estates🧟♂️…
