As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we sometimes find ourselves forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU.
So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in-game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small and brag about it to the world. We want you to! Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.

It can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put anything in Springfield…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? And as always you guys came through big time!

My speculation, but though I? no longer have high hopes or expectations for any major events happening:
Thanksgiving is as late as possible this year (Nov. 28), so a 4 week Halloween starting today would have ended 22 days before Thanksgiving. Would have meant at least 2 empty weeks before a Thanksgiving mini event.
THOH starting next week lines up better for a 1-2 week Thanksgiving with a full down week before the holiday event spanning 4 weeks from Dec 11 through Jan 8.
Looks like next week, 6 o’clock in Colorado no update, more donuts saved for the real THOH event.
I do recall the fearless leader Alissa pointing out that EA likes to change things up with the Halloween and Christmas events, so I am trying to think positive thoughts about the event NOT being another week away, and instead, just starting on a day other than Wednesday… that’s what I am telling myself.
Always expect the unexpected with EA…whether content or dates. That’s just how they roll. May not always like the unexpected from them…but it’s generally unexpected in some way or another.
Recent Halloween events ended in mid November so maybe EA are hoping to release the update next Wednesday so that it ends on November 13th if it will be a 4 week event and then after that Thanksgiving will probably be released.
Was really hoping to find news about a big THOH event. I’ve been saving up donuts and keeping all of the characters free to start the event that didn’t happen. At least I can use the Zombie Sandwich to send a couple dozen zombies lurching around.
I’m in the exact same position. I truly think EA is trolling us since we all expected the event to begin today. It’s frustrating. I’ve been playing for 5 years and I feel very let down by EA. Halloween is my fave event of the year and I’ve been looking forward to it for weeks. Seems like a big middle finger to loyal players.

I love your use of the rickety bridges…still one of my all time favorite items. Wish we could get a few more bridges, seeing as so much of my town is water and islands. 🤔 Would love to get a suspension bridge or a covered bridge that actually went over water. 😄
