Bug Alert: Seeing a bunch of reports from you guys that the option to buy $19.99 worth of donuts is either missing or broken. By broken, I mean…you can buy it and spend the money but you’re not given the donuts. If this happens to you contact EA.
What I can tell you is, it looks like there’s going to be a donut bonus offered with the $19.99 Truckload of donuts during this event. That may explain why it’s missing or you’re having problems with it.
Note: The in-game instruction boxes and prize box says items leave November 13th. However, the files say November 19th is when the event ends. I think it’s some dialogue they forgot to change. It looks like this event was originally supposed to launch last week (like we all thought) and end on the 13th. But something happened and they pushed it back a week. They changed the files to indicate the new end date, but forgot to change the box dialogue. (Because the store timer is still counting down 28 days…which is November 19th…)

Halloween has finally arrived in our pocket-sized Springfields! With Kodos and Kang running the show it’s hard to know if this event will be all tricks…or treats for Tappers!
We’re back to multi-events for this one. So love them, or hate them, they’re still here. So let’s all try to make the best of this…(I’ll have more thoughts in my next musings post…)
Anywho….things kick off with some 6s tasks for Kodos, Kang, and Cthulhu which means…yes, if you don’t have Kodos and Kang you’ll get them at the start of this event. Also, this means, this THOH event is a continuation of the Cthulhu’s Revenge mini-event. Which is kinda cool..at least to me.
After you’ve completed these initial tasks you’ll kick off THOH XXX Week 1…
First, remember this was an app store update available for download yesterday (Tuesday 10/22). So if you haven’t already done so, and you don’t see the Splash Screen above for your game, head to your app store and update TSTO. You may have to search the store for Tapped Out, as it doesn’t always appear on the update list initially…
And here’s the event synopsis from EA…
Kang and Kodos are ready to get their tentacles dirty, by summoning villains and monsters from other universes to do their dirty work. They’ve tried all their own ideas, now it’s time to steal from everyone else’s.
However, their multi-verse portal tech malfunctions and anyone can pass between universes. Kang and Kodos are in over their heads and must enlist the help of unlikely allies when the Rigellian Devil comes to Springfield.
Now on with the update…
We should all know by now unless of course, you’re new to TSTO that the prizes for this event follow the same questline format to unlock as our regular mini-events do.
Just like every large event since Christmas 2018, this is not your typical Major Event. And there are pros and cons to that, and everyone will find their own pros and cons. And some people’s pro will be someone else’s con.
As always, I just ask that you have an open mind, and reserve judgment until we’re into the event. It’s 4 weeks long (and remember for the past few years we’ve been complaining that events that are 6 weeks plus are just too long). It should be fairly easy to complete. You’ll unlock a bunch of new prizes. No crafting to grind through. Just have some good old fashioned TSTO fun. And, as long as you don’t rush things, you won’t get bored because it’ll change each week!
As I stated above, the initial quests are 6s tasks for Kodos and Kang. Once completed you’ll start the Operation Clogged Drain questline, which is the week 1 story to follow. This is how you’ll unlock the Week 1 (Act 1) prizes.
Same Mistakes, New Plan

Cthulhu: Sorry, my desire was to destroy all life on Earth, but the humans reconnected me with my saltwater spawn.
Kang: We can’t be mad at you for being a loving parent. Give me a hug.
Kodos: That’s beautiful… and weak! You’re an embarrassment sometimes.
6s Tasks for Kodos, Kang, and Cthulhu
Kodos: I throw up my tentacles. I don’t know how to recover from this.
Cthulhu: That’s because your plan is all wet. When your toilet is clogged and you can’t fix it yourself, you call a professional.
Kang: What does destroying the world have to do with our ship’s plumbing problems?
Kodos: I get it… Earth is our ship’s toilet!
Kang: And the clog was me?
Kodos: The clog is Earth too. We need to hire a professional to destroy it!
And this triggers the entire story premise for each act…
(and yes, just like I did for the past multi-events, I’ll be posting full dialogue for this one before each week is over)
Although I mentioned this yesterday, once again here’s the synopsis for Act 1…
Kang and Kodos open a portal to alternate universes and send a call to the worst of the worst to join them. To their dismay their call is answered by the C-list of Doom, villains who’ve been defeated or that are low level threats. Just as it seems all hope for world domination is lost, Zia Simpson comes to Springfield and uses the Ultranet from the future to send a call to real monsters and villains.

Land Tiles
Because I know I’ll be asked…as of right now I don’t see anything awarding Land Tiles. Nor do I see the Golden Goose Realty coming back with this event.
This may be corrected with a patch during this event, but as of right now I don’t see a way of getting more land with this event.
I’m sure GGR will come back at some point, just have to wait it out a little longer.
Item Limits
Per Patric, they have not raised the item limits with this event. That doesn’t mean they won’t, just means they’re not raised at this moment. There have been plenty of times in the past where the limits were raised shortly after the event went live with a patch. If they’re increased we’ll let you know.

Has EA corrected the 300 + 150 bonus donuts purchase yet? I purchased the deal on Sunday and did not receive any donuts but was charged. I contacted EA online reporting a problem but still no donuts or refund two days later.
From what I’ve been told it’s fixed on Android. Others are saying it worked on iOS for them as well.
I personally have not tried it, so I can’t verify for sure
I really wish EA had the big dark pine trees from last year to purchase. Those are the best. And I wish they’d break up the bundles so I can get some of the stuff. Hopefully Christmas won’t be the safe way. But still good to have this update!

The Halloween update seems incomplete. There is no eerie music and dead leaves blowing about. When i log in i still get birds chirping. However when i place water it is murky as usual for halloween. Wish they would bring back the ghost vacuum from years ago
I have the falling leaves. But I just turned the music volume up and you’re right. No spooky music, just birds.
Anyone else having trouble with the KEM facade? I bought it, so it’s no longer listed in the store. It said I must first build a KEM. I already have two, so I tried buying another one and even pulled one out of storage. No trouble at all with the Krusty Burger or Moe’s facades.
Am i the only one stuck with 40 floppy disks?? No matter how many times i put those characters to do the tasks i cannot gain more than 40, therefore im making no progress 🙁
Does anyone know why the Treestache bundle isn’t showing up in the mystery box in my game when I don’t have it yet? Really want it!!
It comes with Magic Act Milhouse, whom you probably already have.
Same with the Evil Shopkeeper bundle and Sorcerer Frink.
I already own the House of Evil, so I’m not offered the Evil Shopkeeper neither the Talking Krusty Doll. And I’m not offered Sorcerer Frink because I already own Frink’s lab.
Is there any chance that this event will be any different from the past events? It is getting boring to know you just have to return every 4 hours to put people to work until u get the new items and nothing else! What happened to chasing the skeletons or zombies around ur town and then going to a friends town and putting some in theirs?

I have played this game for around 4 years and enjoyed the game but now it is boring.
Well…hope is generally a mixture of fact and wishing. But in this case, j fear that the only fact in your wish, is that it is not likely.
I can not kick off event as I have Kodos stuck in the Simpson’s house on the Flirt with human males task so I can start the 1st 6 second task. Says it is done but when I click on the done box it refills the bar green like when it says free and then nothing. I have tried logging off, uninstalling. Nothing fixes it. I even tried to store building in inventory but since it is the simpsons house you can not put it in inventory. I am stuck. Anyone else have this happen or have other suggestions. Extremely frustrated and ready to stop playing
Did kodos come with a building or decoration? If so, maybe you can store that item to break the loop?
Originally Kodos did. But within the last few years they took Kodos off a building and now it’s a stand alone. So nothing to store to knock him out…
I’m missing a bunch of the stuff listed for the magical mystery box and some of the bundles listed I have nothing at all for. I was really looking forward to getting Treestache and Wiggops 🙁
also my THOH mystery box only contains Booberella and nothing else.
On the bright side I I got my bonus to over 5100 percent. It kinda sucks because I worked really hard for years to get to 925 percent. But I think I’ll get over it! 🙂

I don’t have GGR, so I occasionally get land tokens as a 5-task daily task reward. This is one way of getting land tokens if you don’t yet have the max amount.
ok not sure where people is saying wailing wall is 1000 bucks. it cost me 50 donuts ea. also i’m not getting a character to make floppy disks quicker. please can anyone help me on this or should i contact ea

Nearly added about the speed they changed the cost of an item from IGC to Ds and yet still haven’t fixed issues that have been repeatedly mentioned and moaned about, but I’ve had my rant quota for the month
Mausoleum are NOT avaliable at Yearbook Mystery Box. There is a bundle with Mausoleum and a NPC zombie dog.
But if you have the NPC (once free) you can’t get the mausoleum.
It was one of the last halloween item I didn’t had. Thank EA to unbundle it (accidentally, probably)
I just got a patch download that changed the wailing wall to 50 donuts each. Glad I was able to cash in on the mistake before they fixed it, got my bonus to 3072%! 😄

Walls in my game are showing at 50 donuts.
Wailing wall glitch has been fixed in patch. 🙁 It’s now 50 doughnuts each. I added about 400xp before the patch and it was still there after the patch.
And the wailing wall is patched! That didn’t take long!
I really hate the bundles. I don’t have Treestache or Wiggops, but can’t get the bundles because i already have Wizard Bart and Magician Milhouse. Also i can never get Mexican Duffman because on the rare occaisions he appears he is bundled with Duffman, who i already have. I wouldn’t mind paying full price for the bundle and just getting the bits i don’t have, but to just not have the option is a tad frustrating.

EA has patched the Wailing Wall purchase price. It started at $1000 but has been patched to 50 donuts. If you bought them with ingame cash, congrats, they are still there. They will now cost donuts.

I don’t know that anyone has posted about this yet but I just logged in and my game did an auto update and EA realized they messed up and now walling walls are 50 donuts no longer $1000. I loaded up on them earlier. My xp stayed the same so thank jebbus! The spooky wall is still $1000 for .05 bonus.
