Gather ’round the tapping device everyone, it’s update time in TSTO! As Halloween is alive and well in our pocket-sized towns! Of course, an all-new event means all-new premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Monkey’s Paw Salesman and the Monkey’s Paw Shop to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this cursed combo to your town…

-4% bonus with the shop, not a bad bonus %
-Homer has a permanent 4hr job there, “Buy Junk”

Final Thought
This is a character from a classic episode (the second THOH, season 3!), and that’s one of the big reasons to get him. Other than that it’s a standard character/decoration combo, with event currency tasks. Nothing crazy special about him beyond his place in THOH history.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I already picked it up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

IMO this is a much better buy than god, which to me is a bit gimmicky and oddly a bit blasphemous even though I’m NOT religious!
A premium character and 4% bonus and a building ( sort of ! ) for 150 🍩 sounds good so I bought it!
I bought him immediately, I like the 4hr and 12hr visual, is what I send my characters mostly on. BUT I do feel like they missed a BIG opportunity to make the 1hr Task partly Visual, with him being at his stand selling paws…. it didn’t have to be fully visual, even just a bit of him showing up… or he could have been fully visible selling his paws at the stand… 3 visual TASKs!!! oh my, the possibilities are endless.
I swear, half of us that comment on here should be given jobs as EAs creative team. We’re ooooooozing new ideas!
I have some autumn- ised but not as many as in previous years… might just be me, getting kicked out the gave so often, gives me less time to check properly.
Had to buy him really as there is precious little else new coming out of this event for me.
New players will have plenty of choices, so good for them.
However where is the theme for Halloween as in the fall effect, leaves etc ?

After reading this and the previous post about God, I’m beginning to think that Alissa and I are the only players who do not farm donuts. 🤔

Here! *raises hand* I really do hope though that there are a lot more of us, maybe silent gamers that are not active in any forums, and that those farmers don’t actually minimize EAs revenue so much that that might be a reason to stop developing for TSTO…

Oof, I swear sometimes TSTO looks like a chore already, I can’t even think of start farming. Besides, if donuts become ~unlimited and the list of “prizes” just a menu to pick whatever I like.. I think it diminish the fun for me. I wondered too it the present state of the game is somehow linked to the virtual accessibility of premium currency…
I earn my donuts the old fashioned way – I waste time tapping. I am not a farmer.
I’m not a donut farmer either. I just play the game. I’m kind of cheapium, but I have been at this game for years, so I have lots of characters now. I always buy donuts for Halloween and Christmas and Easter. It’s a great game. I hope they can keep it going.

I got him, first to help with the event, secondly because he’s a classic character and thirdly because he went well with the bizarre that was available last years Halloween.
I just purchased 60 donuts , first purchase in years but my donut count did not increase is this another glitch or am i out 8 bucks

Monkey Paw Salesman with Stall – if you’re a Long Time Tapper who’s got 80% of Act 1 / Week 1 ‘s Prizes already (leaving you going “where’s my motivation to Tap, EA? 12 🍩’s twice isn’t cutting it!) Just spend the sprinkles on this long desired Character -so glad he’s now in the Game App – and don’t worry about not being voiced (80% of the Springfield Characters in this Game App aren’t either!)

I am soooooo, buying the paw off of him. Then I’ll stick my finger in an electric socket then I’ll lick a frozen pole (my older sister actually did that, my mom realized it wasn’t a good idea to pour hot water on it only after the fact). And then I will buy some swamp land in florida.

Zombie turkeys could be fun, perhaps something we could invade our neighbours towns with in a future event!
That would require EA to actually do some programming…instead of just changing the graphics in the same routine.

Does he earn event currency for all 4 weeks or just week 1

He does for Week 1 / Act 1 (there’s no guarantee afterwards) but you won’t regret spending the sprinkles (unless you buy a paw off of him!)😉
It’s much more likely he won’t earn after this weeks tasks are done, and that there will be another premium character next week
Does this only help with week one? He is a favorite of mine. I love all the treehouse of horror episodes
