I am writing this through gritted teeth. I am doing my best to “put on a happy face,” but it keeps sliding off of my skull. Kinda goulish…and waaaay scarier than this update.
But…we kinda knew this was coming, right?
I’ll leave the proselytizing for the Filler on Friday, after I have had a bit of time to actually “play” this update a bit. But, suffice it to say, there is a smell of burning rubber in the room…coming from my burning opinion of so many “retreads.”
However…we will keep playing…as long as they keep doling out the stuff. Right?
Let’s get to the numbers.
The simple fact is…this is not much more than a handful of “mini-events” strung together. There is just a bunch of 4-hour tapping, along with some good dialogue. But, after a full year of this…not sure the dialogue is going to carry the day. But, again…we’ll take what they give us. And if you have been playing for a number of years, it isn’t all that much.
OH….and I checked. At least as of this writing, they are offering up more than 20 new items…… BUT DIDN’T RAISE ITEM LIMITS!!!!! Seriously??

So…yes…the Main Calendar is a bit “Foggy” or should I say, “Goddy” in this case. I decided to let God lurk over the entire event…as at 777 donuts, he should get top billing. And let’s face it…”God is Everywhere.” Right?

Keep on Tappin’…
Is anyone else curious as to why it says, “Quests available until November 13th” at the bottom of the event panel like it does when telling us when that event will end?
I’ve written about this a few times…it looks like the update was supposed to hit a week earlier, and end a week earlier, but something happened and they changed the dates. Dates were changed in the files, but they forgot to update the box dialogue in the game. Timers all count down to next week.
I did see that the timers for the store all go for another 7 days. Thank you for clearing this up.
Looks like EA just updated the wording as well… now it says Nov 20th. They’re a weird bunch lol
I don’t often look at the calender now that we are on these repetitive 4 week formats, as it’s so easy to complete in time & they take away the element of surprise for the coming weeks .
However I had a peek on this occasion & was amazed how much stuff I already had.
Looks like EA have just run out of ideas.
They really need to 86 that horrid bird tweeting sound effect on boot up.

7 things I will get a dozen donuts for. They really seem to be phoning it in more and more. I think the Bart screen is on purpose. No way it would take this long to fix the issue if they were really invested in this game. I think if enough people get fed up with it and the people playing dwindles to a certain number, they will justify shutting it down completely. Maybe be I’m wrong.

You and about 70% of those posting to EA on Facebook and Twitter have the same sentiment …. I’m right with you in that too many 12 🍩’s as an Event Prize does not offer motivation to Tap in TSTO!
Let say concentrate on those Premiums and returning THOH content of interest (Farm for 🍩’s if you can carefully so without the Bart Simpson Screen of Death interrupting you). 😀👌
Yeah I’ve been doing bloodmobiles about a dozen at a time. I can get about 3 batches out before I get booted. I’m saving up for God. I have about 300 million years n game cash.

I am concentrating on the Premiums that get released Weekly with each Act (anything THOH related to expand upon my Halloween sections of Springfield) I do about 8 to 10 bloodmobiles every 6 hours and average 80 🍩’s a day with minimal Bart Screen ….. Those Trees I mentioned yesterday are 18 🍩’s each and offer 1% Bonus XP (no limits on how many you obtain) 😀
Yep Halloween is my favorite area.
My Transylvania isn’t big enough for another castle. I do want tasks for the Count and Countess to be drawn to that area so I’ll place it but that means the mad doctors lab or Republican Headquarters has to go as I’ll want to keeps Burns’ castle. Decisions.
Do I dare hope Satan’s Path is an actual new pathway characters will walk on like the KL path? Oh please, oh please!

I finally got the dreaded item limit message yesterday and was surprised it took this long. One reason Is due to the fact my Springfield Heights is used as backstage space with nothing much more than tennis courts and Monorail crafting. It also made me reflect on my years of playing TSTO and the huge changes that have occurred. Gone are the days of needing neighbors, looking forward to what the next level splash screen would look like, and Tony. On the other hand it’s great to see the positive, fences have been mended, the game is still here and for every tee shirt sold a small village in Africa benefits (I asked Santa for two of them). I just need to stop wanting to go to my neighbors and toilet paper their town. At least we can still tag!

I have officially been playing TSTO for over a year now! When I started it was just before Halloween last year. I had just found this site and had know idea what I was doing, what I should do, buy, spend, etc. So I am extremely grateful for this site. In a year I have spent ( according to my husband) a lot of money to get the prizes and characters I wanted. Being a grown women that was my choice. The year book box gave us the chance to get a lot of things that are now in this prize track. Personally I think that’s a little cheezy on EA’s part, but there was also a lot of things I didn’t have that I now do. That I’m happy about! I do feel for the older Tappers who were waiting for a full load of new items, this must be a let down? To me this is a 50/50 some old some new. As a player with a lot of this stuff I look at it as the premium items are my new prizes, ones that now I am able to get with out spending money. I was very excited to have my second Halloween in Tapped out, now that I know what’s going on. I know a lot of people think the game is ending maybe it is maybe it isn’t. I just know I’m going to keep on enjoying it as long as I can. Who knows Gods is with us now! Or at least he’s in my Springfield!! Happy Day Friends and Happy Tappin!! 🎃☠️😈👻💀🧟♂️🧟♀️🎃

By the way, the glitch with the wall being 1000 instead of 50 donuts? I see people on reddit going to 15.000% bonus. And i just don’t get it. I have very few bonuspercentage items double, and i still have hundreds of millions of credits. Why would I increase my bonus just to reach the limit faster, while making my town ugly with purple walls?
Ugly purple walls? Obviously you have not visited my town and gazed upon the Great Wailing Wall of Springfield. It was built to keep out liberals and other undesirables.

Long time players have most of what is in the mystery boxes. If they have a new decoration why not make that the prize and put the repeats as returning premium or in the mystery boxes? As a player that has GGR but doesn’t farm, I’ll take the donuts but I’d prefer new content. People that don’t have GGR would love land tiles as prizes.

Thanks for the Calendar, Patric ….. yes this Event is just like a majority all year (tons of returning Prizes a Noob will gloat over, but this also leaves Long Time Tappers shrugging – because we’re ignored!) I’m way ahead of the this and will be done by Friday (not even trying!) 👌
I’m grateful for some new Prizes (Martin of the Opera – I’ve wanted him for a looong time!), grateful for the THOH Mystery Box (I got the rest of the THOH content I didn’t have for 100 sprinkles!), grateful for the ability to Farm for 🍩’s (except when I get the Bart Screen of Death constantly!), grateful for returning content we don’t have to craft (well at least EA listened to one suggestion!) – but I don’t understand why we can’t have a larger amount of Items in Game / why we still have a large plot of Land next to Springfield Heights unavailable in the Game (oh, EA is running a skeleton crew for TSTO! this is the last ride!) 🙄

Please could someone advise me on spending 777 donuts on God ? I’m a bit of a hoarder when it comes to donuts ( I’m the same in real life I can’t sleep unless my pantry is full of junk food ) so spending 777 is filling me with dread, however I also suffer from fomo. Please advise thank you 🙏

Yes, he is. I laid out the do-re-minuts for the big G yesterday morning and immediately put him on the 24hr task. My bonus percentage (thanks to yesterday’s wailing wall bonanza) is 1318.70%. When God completed his task a few minutes ago, I collected $10,256,545.
Ok u know what….im happy players are getting stuff as prizes that they missed. But seriously…so many? Sheesh come on. Ive been watching old episodes and theres still so much they could pick from those.. Even just from the couch gags! Just happy for the event though! Carry on. Lol🎃🎃🎃

Tons of missed opportunities to make a cohesive plot with Characters and Buildings that would make sense. This looks like EA just took a container with suggestions – shook it – picked a few like a Lottery drawing – then said “here ya go! now write some funny dialogue!”! 🙄👌
Grateful to complete what I couldn’t prior via Mystery Box, but 12 🍩’s for a Prize too many times isn’t a motivator to play TSTO (it’s on par with crap Prizes you’re going to store!)
I don’t like to complain, this Event is fun – not as fun as prior years – but it deserves to be better! EA has TSTO on life support and I don’t feel like buying 🍩’s knowing not a lot “in Game” is being fixed!
