It’s officially 10am here on the East Coast, and that means Week 2 of Halloween is Live in Springfield!
Things kick off for week 2 with some dialogue between Kang and Zia…
Kang: Are you helping us, or are you just texting all day?
Zia Simpson: *glances up from her phone* Relax. You’re why young people don’t trust anyone over a thousand years old. I found the perfect representative for you. He’ll do all the work and you’ll get all the credit. Don’t thank me, slimeheads. *goes back to texting*
Kodos: And you’re why we eat our children.
This triggers the week 2 questline, Prelude to a Powermove, and is followed by a 8hr tasks for Kang and Zia, as well as a task to collect Week 2 Currency (50). Prelude to a Powermove is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of the Week 2 prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during week 2…
Here’s EA’s synopsis for Act 2/Week 2:
Zia convinces Count Dracula to help Kang and Kodos with their world domination plan. Count Dracula enlists the help of all his monster friends and using the ultranet builds a doomsday device to destroy Springfield and dominate the world.
As I stated above, you’ll basically go right into the Prelude to a Powermove questline, which is what the week 2 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Week 2 (Act 2) prizes.

No donuts for me this prize track. I don’t have any of the items on there so that was nice to see 👀 Love the invisible house!! Picked it up right away! My jack o lantern box only had 4 things in it and they were all character building combos I wanted, so all and all I can say this has been a great start to week two for me! Happy Day Friends and Happy Tappin!! Sandytoes I’m sending the invisible man to skulk around your Springfield! 👀👻💀

Is it possible to know what items from the jack-o-lantern mystery box are in the year book (or if there are any at all)?

*sigh* Just a heads up warning to ya’ll. EA has not fixed donut buying problem. They already owe me for 2 spooky trucks and I tried today and lost a third (yeah, I know…bone-headed move on my part) Now I have no iTunes cash and no donuts to buy content. EA is also silent to my issues. A fair warning to be careful for the eventual future.

EA is having lots of server problems (those who’ve made in game purchases via Xbox / PlayStation are dealing with same issues regarding not getting content paid for on different games), so I encourage you to file complaints at the iPhone App Store against EA …. and very sorry for your problems
I gave up after going through three different customer reps trying to get the donuts I bought and had Apple refund my purchase.

Gelatinous Homer is pretty much Homer and Space Marshmallow merged together. I’m curious to know if Space Marshmallow will be involved in Gelatinous Homer’s questline.

I’m torn about yet another castle. On the one hand it’s another castle haha. On the other hand it helps build out that section of my Springfield rather than just having another random building.
I have plans on making a despair heights in my town that would involve the castles and Halloween homes in their own section from recent years but I don’t have the land open to do it unless I move or remove some sections of my town since I don’t have many (1) land tokens.

I got a thing for castles, so yay! I hate to jinx myself, but I haven’t experienced The Bart Screen of Death in a few days. I’m teary-eyed with gratitude with the thought of that being fixed.

Thanks for putting this together! The Jack-O-Lantern mystery box is great and Dracula’s Castle looks like a nice addition to any Springfield.
If people still complain that these items are not Halloween related then I don’t know what is. Haagen Death is the only non Halloween item in this act so the items do seem a lot better than Act 1. I’m glad to get Howl Hill as a prize instead of the second dozen donuts and I got 4 items in the new mystery box.
I thought I had lunch today, so I left my padular device @ home…AND I DON”T HAVE A LUNCH….. so.. this event will have to wait till I get out of work… 🙁 I turbo tap the quest… so no biggie… *queue in Dr Evil theme* muahahaha
