Gather ’round the tapping device everyone, it’s update time in TSTO! As Halloween is alive and well in our pocket-sized towns! Of course, an all-new event means all-new premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Dr. Griffin (the Invisible Man) and the Invisible House to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this invisible combo to your town…

Final Thought
This is a fun character. His tasks are amusing, and he helps with the event. Other than that it’s a standard character/building combo, with event currency tasks. If you like him, grab him, otherwise pass.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as a premium player, I already picked it up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

– it’s peculiar
– reasonable price
– cool concept
Furthermore, I tend to buy at full price even if I’m pretty sure it’ll come in future Mystery Boxes, because when I emptied the Yearbook, I had 200+ quests at the same time (yikes) and I try to NOT repeat the experience 😂
Still can’t believe I almost DIDN’T buy the god character, is totally worth it just for the payout for the 24 hour task.
At first glance it seemed to me like the payout of the 24h task did not take my bonus % into account, anyone else notice that? It pays 777,777 cash without a multiplier, at my current mutliplier of around 2100% it should be more like 16+ million. I’ll have to check at a later time because atm god is farming hearts 😉
My multiplier is 2036% I think and I’m getting a bit over $20M from God’s 24 hour task.

Happy Halloween!! I’ve been playing tapped out since 2013. Haven’t spent a dime on this game (other than a $15 iTunes gift card I got for my birthday many years ago). I have just recently cleared out the Yearbook Mystery Box. Now I have no clue what to do with the game. I guess my question is… What is left to do outside of the events?!
I would love for them to bring GGR back for those of us who missed it. Really needing more land tokens. Maybe that will bring back the fun for me. Building/designing was my favorite part of this game. 🙁

I’m a huge fan of Universal Horror movies so I spent the donuts as soon as I saw the character. It would be fun to have a combined task were all the classic monsters terrorized Springfield Monster Squad Style.
Awesome character/building combo. The house was very well done by the creative staff.

Come hell or high water(which just might happen!) we are still going! Our group of 2 high schoolers and 2 jr. high schoolers still want to. And at those ages there aren’t many Halloweens left that we can walk with them and them not resent it! Lol 🎃❄☔🍃

I spent some donuts on him, but I can’t seem to find him or his house.
(OK, that was a rhetorical comment).
The donut bug is still not fixed! I tried purchasing the truckload/$19.99 package, twice! Then for sh*ts & giggles, I tried the $49.99 package, low and behold, no donuts!! Yet I’ve been charged the $89.97! I’ve contacted EA game support, they are no help. All they want are screen shots of the purchase and then you still get no where with them. Apple won’t refund because it’s a missing content/game error. I either want my missing donuts or my money, otherwise I’m permanently deleting this game from my phone!
Uhm… yikes. Keep at them.
I hear you! Happened to me yesterday…no real time help and no live chat assistance even though the email correspondence says they provide it…ugh! Because of the time sensitive nature of this issue they need to do something for players! 🤬🤬🤬

MSG:Erika – I am experiencing the exact same problem. I have purchased the Halloween bonus pack of donuts 6 times. I also contacted EA, provided the screen shots, and have gotten 0 help. But you can get a refund through iTunes, you just have to slightly change the options you choose. They refund it automatically, which is kind of surprising to me. But when you are in your purchase history
and go to report a problem, instead of selecting Didn’t Receive or Unable…., select I’d Like to request a refund instead. I have done that and verified it work. If you need additional help let me know. The frustrating thing is I am literally trying to give them money. I like supporting the game and was hoping to purchase some Divine Intervention but so far no luck.
