Simpsons are back tonight with a new episode! What do you think will happen?
Halloween may be over, but it’s still alive and well in TSTO! How are you faring with week 2 of THOH? Ready for week 3 to start? Your thoughts on the returning items or multi-events? Or EA selectively listening to players? (more on all this in my musings post from this week here)

I can not get side show bob
I’m having the same problem if you figure it out please let me know. My wife says he just showed up when she first started the game and she had to catch him or he got away but for some reason doesnt have him any more.
Hi could someone post a link re. neighbours disappearing please? My neighbours can see me & visit (I also proved this with my B game), yet when I go to visit them my list just shows ‘other Springfield’. Any links/advice gratefully received. Thanks.
My friend list has been deleted! I don’t know what happened!
It’s a glitch on EA’s side, nothing you can do but wait until they come back. They’re not gone, just visually you can’t see them right now.
I just looked around to see if anyone else has posted about this problem but didn’t see any. When I start the game on my LG Smartphone the background sounds come on REALLY LOUD, even if the phone is set to silent, even if the phone volume is turned down and even if in-game sound is turned off. When I move the screen by scrolling it stop. It also comes on again at random points until I scroll. Is it just me?
Yea that’s been happening since the Babies update

Nope. Once you start scrolling it usually stops, but no fix yet (other than turn your media volume completely off). It’s very annoying for sure!
Funny thing is the noise changed to bats squawking when the Halloween event kicked off. Before that it was the sound of the monorail, some described it as the sound of a flushing toilet!
So I’ve been looking through the yearbook mystery box for the Zombie Sandwich. I haven’t seen it and now I’m questioning if I already have it. I looked through my inventory but didn’t see it. Can’t find it in my plopped down town. Any suggestions.
It’s quite small, is basically a dumpster but could be easily overlooked. Sometimes I wish there was a search function in the game.
I’m not sure if this is the right place for this, but I’m looking for some help.
I was lucky enough to get God from the Gil deal. My Bonus is 1318.40% and I have the XP Collider turned on as well. After God’s 24 hour job, I usually only get about $14 million and maybe 20k XP. I feel like the the cash and XP from the job is lower than it should be. Maybe I’m missing something though.

Billy,, your return should actually be a bit lower. With a 13.184 multiplier, the task should net you 14.184×0.777777 million in cash and 14.184x5x225 in xp plus a little extra for the Jebediah statue bonus.
Anyone else have all these origin friends but yet none of their towns show up? I just noticed.
If they didn’t have a town, I always deleted them…don’t know where they came from. 🤔

Yes, same here. I visited all my friends towns yesterday, but I tried today none of them were there.
For making quick money I bought tons of scary houses at $1000 a pop. I get $75 a house every three hours times my 814%bonus times about 300 or so houses. The price doesn’t go up like it does for other houses so it’s a great investment to buy a lot of those. Also comes in handy for buying more KwikEMart’s for farming for donuts. #KeepSpringfieldGreat
After watching Hocus Pocus on Halloween I realize that the Sanderson Sisters must have visited my town at some point with a version of their “Dance til you Die” curse because the opera singers never stop performing at the outdoor opera stage. And neither do the rockers, for that matter!🤣

Just had a good week in TSTO land lots of restructuring. But on balance I’ve maybe been spending a bit too much time on this game at the expense of other things like family. Besides too much of a good thing starts to become unenjoyable over time.
I logged in today and was treated with several updates and then one that said I needed 1700mb update. Anyone else see this?
Sounds like your device is low on space. I think TSTO likes to have at least 10MB available at any given time. When it doesn’t, it does what you’re experiencing.
I uninstalled and reinstalled and am back in business. Thx

i have been liking the new event… it’s fun… Donut flow is steady, cash intake is regular, speeding up the program to do other stuff is ongoing… i’ll say its a nice event… :P. in real life.. kids are sick with the flu.. dog is old, snake is hungry, am tired, the car needs repairs, and life is good… am fortunate… taking up drawing once again… almost finish another sketch book.. the niners (49ers – Football) are back (I hope), and that’s about it.. I think… hmm….. oooooohhhh yeah!!!!… Boxing… for anyone interested… Canelo vs Kovalev… man.. what a fight… and what a knockout!!!!.. sometimes you just can’t dodge a punch from life and you get knocked out.. now am done… lol. (this post took 4hrs to complete… am at work)
I said I wouldn’t do it, I had no intention of blowing 777 donuts on God. But I’m a sucker for peer pressure ha ha. After reading Pat’s post I had to get it! I only had 4 things in the Halloween Mystery box and only one that I wanted from it, in which I got on the first try! So now I’m getting some questlines out of the way before the next round starts. And farming my way out of donut bankruptcy in case the next premium character is worth nabbing!

I like the writing in TSTO lately. More than before. Am I the only one who thinks it’s really good?
Can anyone help me remember when I could have gotten Treestache’s Grove without Treestache, since I wasn’t offered the bundle. If I can figure out when I got it, it might help me find it in my town. I keep track of my purchases and it’s nowhere on the list. Treestache himself is not in my town, according to my character collections.
Treestache is one of the creatures that you release from there location and then after 4hrs of wandering your town will be tappable and have a prize that will probably end up in storage.
I got him last year in the magical mystery box but doing a quick search on here I found that Treestache and his grove were released in a mystery box (creatures box for 15 donuts) on Black Friday and before that he was first added in the magic event 2 years ago also in the tie in before the event. I think this is also the first or second time he was bundled with something else since he was mostly on his own when he was available .
It was part of Jessica Buttons world…one of the Halloween events.
Also, Treestache is part of the grove…when you tap the grove, you have the option to free Treestache and he goes wandering around your town. He isn’t a separate character, so if you have the grove, just tap it and he should appear.
I wasn’t offered the bundle and I don’t have Treestache or the Grove but I do have Magic Act Milhouse from the Casino Event which is included in the bundle.
Oh – maybe that explains it !
Thanks all – I thought that I might have gotten the grove on its own, but since I started playing during Halloween 2017 I think it’s only been offered as a bundle. Which is why I don’t understand why i didn’t have a chance for the bundle this time around.
Dumb question maybe but how exactly do you save or can you save? I’ll stop playing but hours later log in with a different device and it says my game from the other device hasn’t been saved. Other times I don’t get this message. So I don’t get it does it save randomly or what
There isn’t a “save” feature per se, but if you’re switching devices a lot do the following: when you’re done playing go to the neighbors screen (the picture of Bart and Milhouse), then back to your Springfield. This will force a synchronization and save your progress.

It normally does save the money I’ve not had any issues where I’ve lost the money when tapping on a completed job or quest.
