Despite the calendar showing November, it’s still Halloween in Springfield! And it’ll be that way for a few more weeks…and we shouldn’t be surprised after all EA warned us!
“Isn’t it sad when Halloween ends and all you have to show for it is a bucket of candy? Well, fear not! The new Treehouse of Horrors update for Tapped Out starts this Wednesday and will scare you deep into November!”
Anyway…back to the prizes at hand…
THOH XXX follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Week 2, Act 2, we’re following what happens when Zia strikes a deal with the Devil Dracula! All of the prizes unlocked during week 2 play a role in that storyline.
So let’s take a look at prize 5 on the THOH XXX Act 2 Prize track…Gelatinous Homer…
Gelatinous Homer is a brand new character for Springfield (not a costume for Homer), and part of the Treehouse of Horror XXX Character Collection:

I’ve had him since Saturday and his tasks are ok but not the best. The best one is his 8 hour task because he literally does what it says. The 24 hour task is pretty disappointing since he doesn’t rampage on the task, I thought it would’ve been like the Space Mutant’s rampage task but Gelatinous Homer doesn’t do much for that task. I do like that he is voiced and the questline. I thought it would have been great if he had a task at the Vast Waistband and would be considered a glutton.
Immediatly have his song ‘I like big guts’ in my head, this was one of the first THOH I ever saw, so I love to finally have him

Oh , I know tomorrow (Wednesday) starts anew ….. I’m just hoping this isn’t the best we’re getting from EA during THOH 2019 ! 🤔
Thanks a lot Alissa. I have to say, this may be the first character ever that looks too hideous. Bonus points for visual 24h task, that I’ll admit. But as a “copy” of Alien Marshmallow, I find this rather unpleasant, per se 😒
Isn’t Gelatinous Homer the same as the Space Marshmallow 4 hour task of emulating Homer?
