Nothing like the holidays to bring a little crazy to our pocket-sized towns! As the latest mini-event in TSTO hit our towns recently…this time to celebrate Thanksgiving. Or more specifically Black Friday! At least this one is seasonally appropriate…and should bring us nicely into Christmas!
Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes. As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini-event is your typical standard mini-event (with a couple of twists). Follow the questline to unlock prizes and call it a day…until the next event.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just how to unlock all-new prizes…

Is Paul Bunyan a full character or just another skin for Homer. Also is he larger in size than regular Homer?
Full character and yes. Larger than regular Homer.
I’m curious if anyone is having issues with characters not doing the task “drink at moe’s” this includes Barney?? Is this a glitch? Started with the update. 😕
Another shortchange glitch! Once again, this event is shortchanging my event currency. Had 187 towards the first prize, so I sent Probidder and Marge back on task – should be the 13 I need, right? NO! Only gave me 8 and left me at 195. This seems to happen to me every event, and only when I’m close and set a few characters on the event task. It never happens if I set everyone on task; very strange. Cheap move to scam a few donuts here and there.
Because I farm donuts, I was able to complete this event in one day, PLUS clear out the mystery boxes AND rush through all their questlines, all in the span of about 12 hours. So now I’m just sitting back, waiting for the Xmas event…lol
Does anyone’s Map look like fall still? Mine is back to normal. During Halloween there no leaves but it looks like spring in mine. Hopefully they fix this.
I have the feeling this main questline goes much slower. I only have the first price now. THOH went much faster

I like it! I’m happy with the event been waiting for Black Friday to grab some characters I didn’t have. Super happy to get Sam and Larry with Moe’s express! The content is all new for the event. I mean come on The B Sharps!! I bought some donuts I farmed some donuts. I came I tapped I conquered!! I think this is a nice mini event to take us into Christmas. Started playing new update yesterday really enjoying game just noticed when I picked game up to tap and get my first prize my bid card is only reading 40 its cancelled 75 of my bid cards why has this happened
I can’t do Black Friday 2019 Part 1 Spend a Golden Token on a Mystery Box. There’s only donuts when I click on it.
You can only spend tokens on the Gold Box. If it’s not an option for you, that means you have all the items in the gold box. It’s not a critical questline, and you’re not missing out on anything by not doing it. It should disappear from your task book once the mini-event ends.
