As the latest mini-event in TSTO hit our towns recently…this time to celebrate Thanksgiving. Or more specifically Black Friday! Of course, a new event gives EA an excuse to stock our stores with returning premium content, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the returning Mattress King Warehouse, Mattress King Store, The Escape Zone, or Bob’s Big Buddha to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…

What Does It Do?: Standard Building/Character Combo. Has no stand-alone 8hr task, his 8hr task requires Marv.
Opinion on it Now: Meh this one is a bit of a pass for me. Unless you’re prepared to buy both Morty and Marv, and have a Mattress King Empire in your Springfield, it’s hard to justify spending the donuts on Morty.

What Does It Do?: Typical Building/Character Combo…EXCEPT…his 8hr task requires Morty, his 4hr task requires Moe, and he doesn’t have a 1hr task.
Opinion on it Now: Pass. Too many tasks are dependant on another character, and lack of a 1hr task really bums me out with this one.

Opinion on it Now: Not a terrible pickup. If you like it grab it.

What Does It Do?: Stand alone building, Bart and Lisa have a 4hr task there.
Opinion on it Now: Really unchanged from last year. It’s more expensive and larger than The Escape Zone, but still not a terrible grab. If you like it get it. Otherwise, pass.

Yes to all of them! I already had Big Buddha. I have fond childhood memories of eating at Big Boy and being amused at how much security was needed for their mascot to keep him from being carted off for HS Senior pranks. Looks great in my little Tokyo, looks good animated.
I got the Escape Zone for my newly constructed Kiddie area right across from the Kid Zone. It amuses me because my daughter chose an escape room for her 16th birthday this year and I get a chuckle at the passing fad sign.
Last year I reluctantly passed on the Syzslaks. I didn’t know where I’d put the Mattress Warehouse. I was still steamed about Sarah Wiggum being 300 donuts then offered twice at a steep discount shortly after. I think Alissa was mad at EA for a different reason because I remember when the Donut Factory came out, she was not rewarding them with any of her $, no sir! So, maybe take the original
SIB on Marv and Morty with a tiny grain of salt. I could be wrong since her opinion hasn’t changed.
I have since added The Outlands to my Springfield so I have a place for the factory. I have also gone from Premium to Farmium so I bloodmobiled my way to the 299 donut price tag in just a few minutes. I have to say, I love Morty! He is a riot! I’m still working my way through Marv’s questline, so I haven’t seen him duke it out with his old man yet but I remember everyone loving Marv’s animations- so I’m looking forward to that.

I farm, so grabbed everything. They are all nice and fit well in my town.
Was considering buying Morty and Marv but after reading this I will pass, maybe buy if it cone up in a deal, thanks
Morty is worth it for the questline alone. I’m happy I got them both.

I wanted to complete getting all of Moe’s Family (the 299 sprinkles spent were quickly Farmed back in 3 Days!)😀👍🏻
The Other Prizes are already the regular Mystery Box!🤔
Everything else was rubbish (I’m not wasting my time, effort, 🍩’s , Gold Tokens on!) and we already got prior Event Prizes that are Characters with no 1 Hour Task (not many complained about this fact!) 😂
I finally got the Yellow Submarine (yay!) 👌🏻
I focused on the boxes that were less than the yearbook. So I emptied out the kids, the alter egos and the creatures. I did some work on the bronze box, there are now 4 items in it, but I am not interested in those.
I now have 46 task lines on the go (down from 62).
I might pick up the mattress guys, we’ll see.

I’m happy with what I got (Yellow Submarine finally)
I have abandoned (mostly) my NicoRox13 game, there is not much content missing. Lime nothing ever in any mystery boxes, only missing about 10 characters, they never seem to be available.
A few months ago I restarted a version i had abandoned about 3 years ago, MangoFusion01, it was at about level 120. So now I have stuff in my mystery boxes, I only have about 200 characters
Problem is, I haven’t been able to add any neighbors! I try every day, but no luck. Sandytoes74 has tried adding me a few times from the other side, but no luck. AND I just don’t want the hassle of having to deal with the hard working people at EA (yes I was laughing as I typed that).
Other downs, no GGR, no yellow submarine (yet). But the town is coming along nicely.
The biggest downer – and if you have ralead any of my posts, you know this is coming… (cue suspense music). I don’t have Mrs. Sinclair – I have the School for tots, but no Mrs Sinclair.

There are still lingering issues with EA’s Origin Accounts. Plenty of tweets @EAHelp mention this. You’d think a billion dollar Company would get it’s 💩 together …. yes as a Tapper earns everything? They’re forced to create a B and C Game. I wish more would let their voices be heard (that way EA would do more to fix Origin).
Only thing I’ve picked up thus far from this set is Marv, and that’s because I wanted to complete the set. Didn’t hurt that the building is kind of interesting to look at also. The last two are going to take me a little bit as I stopped shoving my characters on tasks last week while I was busy doing the book fair and had absolutely no time to tap/complete a good 400something tasks at regular intervals (town-wide task tap building EA?). And in the process of catching up on my Trap Truck farming I kinda blew through almost all my ingame $$$. ^_^;;

I picked up both the Mattress King and the Mattress King Warehouse. Due to some issues with my game at the time, I was not able to get them when they originally came out. I am still debating on whether or not to get the other two buildings. I need to find the time to organize my Springfield though. I’ve been so busy planning a wedding and have gotten behind on some of the recent events.
