Nothing like the holidays to bring a little crazy to our pocket-sized towns! As the latest mini-event in TSTO hit our towns recently…this time to celebrate Thanksgiving. Or more specifically Black Friday! At least this one is seasonally appropriate…and should bring us nicely into Christmas!
Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes. As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini-event is your typical standard mini-event (with a couple of twists). Follow the questline to unlock prizes and call it a day…until the next event.
With this mini-event, one new premium character was introduced. In addition to helping with event currency, CJ Pro Bidder comes with his own, short, individual questline, so let’s take a look at the full dialogue questline now.
Turning Trash into Hundos Pt. 1
CJ starts
CJ Pro Bidder: We won another Unstructured Bidding-Style Reality Show Emmy, and now Storage Battles is renewed for a fiftieth season! Last season I found a WWI-era mustard gas canister AND a painting of Banksy’s real passport. So, this year, I’ve got to outdo my own storage game and find the equivalent of the xerox that xeroxed the Pentagon Papers AND at least two of Al Capone’s missing piggy banks. And I can’t accomplish that if I don’t step up my tank-top game. Hard to keep up with Lucky Pete in the farmer’s tan department.

CJ Pro Bidder: Oh yeah! A couple of rifle bayonets dipped in basilisk venom. They could be from WWII, the Napoleonic Wars, or even the battle for Hogwarts. Whichever gets me more hundos! Just need to contact my old friend in Springfield. His name’s Herman. He’s a clutch bayonet appraiser… pretty sure he’ll tell me it’s worth at least a thousand.

Apu: Herman was our only expert, but now he’s in prison for purchasing a flamethrower without a license.
CJ Pro Bidder: Can’t YOU just appraise it for me? Pretend you’re an expert and I’ll throw you some cash. We do it every show.
Apu: Storage Battles is fake?! How dare you call yourselves reality television!

Actually tokens didnt disappear after the event. I forgot to trade mine in and a note popped up to say I could trade them for 12 donuts. They were sitting in the premier part where you buy cash. Though saying that, the new update hasn’t hit yet so I wouldn’t sit on the fence.
I thought if I kept them & more from future events, I might be able to use on something better

Are they saved in my inventory after the event ends or are they gone?
They’re useless once the event ends, so why would you want to save them?
But, once the event is over it’s over. Tokens not spent are lost.
