It’s finally Christmas in Springfield! Our pocket-sized Springfields have been covered with a fresh blanket of snow! What’s in store for us this time? Well, we’re tasked with seeing if Grampa can bore Death…well to death! Loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up.
Abe’s in Toyland follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!

i waited for snow to fall on Springfield to turn on my Xmas lights. It finally snowed this morning and now when i tap the plunger a message pops up saying “the plunger has been deactivated”. I want my lights!!! Please tell me there’s a way to fix this.
Just tap on a building and choose the Christmas version of the building skin from the options given in the top strip.
My plunger was working a few weeks ago when I accidentally tapped it…
Is there going to be a Christmas Gil deal?
It’s a busy month working several events in Las Vegas (National Finals Rodeo, Shania Twain’s residency, Dwight Yoakum), so I truly do appreciate the simple setup for Xmas Event 2019 …. and yes I do miss visiting Neighboreenos to Task for something (I think we all had a good larf firing Santa’s Elves out of a Canon, then Tapping ’em all over Springfield).
I am fine with the Characters and Buildings – hey new Content to play with – but would appreciate the new Decor more if there wasn’t the Item Limits (decorating the different sections of Springfield has been fun, having to go back and take out Content because you have too much according to EA isn’t).
I’m taking the Patch Download today as a sign EA is kind of listening (to some of the criticism ).
just got a Patch Download that corrects Cthulhu Statue and Bleeding Gums Murphy Cloud 👍🏻
A couple times per day the game is telling me it has to download 1283MB. There cannot be that many updates of the exact same size.
You likely need to free up space on your device. (Like 10 gb free for Christmas) or you need to clear your cache
Alissa, you are a genius! It totally worked. I have been playing this game since they day it launched and I actually considered quitting since I couldn’t make it work. Thank you so much. Merry Christmas to you!!!!!
Has anyone had an issue with your characters being stuck in their jobs? My Grandpa Simpson is stuck in a job where he returns to the building where the job happens and I can’t make him do his tasks for the event. I already called EA, did all their trouble shooting, but nothing works. Any advise?
Store the building he’s stuck in, it’ll knock him out of it

Lol! “Good Omens” is one of my favorite books ever! Loved the mini series as well.
So far, I like this event. I like the token idea, just having the patience to wait for all 8 tokens lol.
After earning the elves, I like that we can buy more in the store for 10 donuts. They are cute.
I do wish the noise glitch would be fixed. Ugh. But as long as I turn down my phone volume, I dont have to hear it.
I wish we had the neighbor gifts again, that was fun.
