Gather ’round the tapping device everyone, It’s finally Christmas in Springfield! And there’s nothing like the holidays and a little snow to bring crazy to our pocket-sized towns! What’s in store for us this time? Well, we’re tasked with seeing if Grampa can bore Death…well to death! Of course, an all-new event means all-new premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Professor Simpsons Universal Panacea and Old Tut to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding Homer’s heritage combo to your town…

Final Thought
Not a bad pickup. Considering there will only be 4 new premium combos (or items in general) with this event, worth the pickup. Of course, I wish he was voiced…but it’s not the end of the world.
And, as an added bonus, he’s part of the Simpsons family. Always nice to have a little Homer heritage in Springfield…
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and I already picked it up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

What’s the difference between Old Tut and the last character prize? They look very similar
I noticed that many of my male characters have at the bottom of their tasks a 4 hour task of “attend a parenting seminar”, like how you explained in this post. However, I did not purchase this building and character. When I pressed the task to see what would happen out of curiosity, it took me straight to the store to purchase the character and building.
Is this going to be permanent, or is this task eventually going to be erased since I’m not purchasing this premium combo?

You won’t need the Character to finish obtaining this Week’s Event Prizes (unless you lack Characters, or don’t have time to Tap every 4 Hours at least 3 times daily). You will be content spending the sprinkles.
Yes, he’s not voiced (why? I dunno! EA sometimes doesn’t give you everything), but it’s nice having relatives from Homer Simpson’s side of the Family (well, maybe Marge’s d-e-a-d Dad will show up next time?)

There is nothing to tap in 4 of my friends towns for over 24 hours. Not even the Simpsons house. Can anyone tell me why that would be?

They could’ve quit the Game App (you can scroll through your list of Neighboreenos and check to see when they last played – anyone who hasn’t played in over a month is gone).

So it’s a mystery why there isn’t anything to tap. I had waited the 12 hours just in case they had just cleared with the finger but still none.

Brown Houses – I got 2 rows of 6 and there are also 4 Krusty Burger’s next to a Monorail Station, at least 3 Kwik-e-Marts (I have no idea why you have nothing to Tap unless we have a new glitch EA needs to patch download fix) 😯

Can I get some advice?
I’m aiming to pick up the most Christmas-y thing of all that’s available to me right now: Santa Claus! I’ve started KEM farming in earnest and laying down Rat Trap Delivery Trucks to get there. However, I see that 3/5 of Santa’s jobs require “Santa’s House,” a building that I don’t have and don’t see available to me to buy in the store. Now, I love Santa and really want to get him. But, if I do get him, will he be able to do anything?
He is a full character…but only has a couple of outside visual tasks.

Why 🎅 isn’t offered with his House is beyond me (let’s call it EA-pic Fail and there are plenty (lol). He is voiced (amusing dialogue) and worth it for that (FYI he does get nude in 1 visual Task) 😂

so… I have a question.. .what’s the deal with the tokens… they are useless… if they wanted to give us 12 donuts… why not just put it in the prize track as they always do!!! so we can be disappointed from the start and not be let down TWICE!!!!… it could of been better if they gave us the tokens so we could exchange it for some prize other than donuts… oh well. .. am fallinssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Yeah, Tokens are worth it IF you need Content from the new Mystery Box ….but if you already have everything that is available from said Mystery Box? It’s another slap in the face from EA (it feels like those of us who obtained everything over the years are stuck with the new Premiums and that’s all!) 🙄
I can’t say this feels like any Winter Holiday of an Event (because it isn’t!) but I guess it’s just what EA is offering via no true effort (and I don’t see that changing – which sucks!) ❄️🎄🦌
Not uselessfor everybody, I have 6 combos in my Winter Wonderland box so I get a nice little gift every few days for the first 3 weeks. I think it’s pretty cool.
I have 11 prizes & have deliberately passed on them before. ralph’s ice castle I would have like to see, but I have his costume so I can’t have the castle.

Christmas Tokens for a Christmas Mystery Box are a bonus for those who don’t have the Content in them already (for those who have 99% of everything ? we got 1 to 2 Tokens with a small thanks to EA if it gets you a freebie …. and if we have everything already? it’s “what the deuce, EA!” because those Tokens are pointless )
I, for one, have 9 items in my Winter wonder mystery box 😁 that means that I’m only falling short of one token from the prizes. And I guess new players lack even more items. Therefore, for someone the tokens are precious 😊

If I go by prior gameplay? He’s good for the 1st Week ….. and then it’s a new Premium Character Building Combo next week (and the next week, and so on). It’s usually a Gil Deal that offers a Premium Character obtaining Event Currency for the whole Event (I’m hoping Alissa can reveal more from the packet she received) 👍🏻
