It’s finally Christmas in Springfield! Our pocket-sized Springfields have been covered with a fresh blanket of snow! What’s in store for us this time? Well, we’re tasked with seeing if Grampa can bore Death…well to death! Loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up.
Abe’s in Toyland follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Week 1, Act 1, we’re following the first story Grampa tells Death, a tale from his Childhood! All of the prizes unlocked during week 1 play a role in that storyline.
So let’s take a look at prizes 2 and three on the Abe’s in Toyland Prize track…the Crowd of Elves and the Simpsons Gingerbread Couch…

The Crowd of Elves is an ok decoration and its nice to have the chance of getting more aside from them costing donuts. I love the crowd decorations we get and the elves might work with the Happy Little Elves Farm we got 6 months ago. It also seems unlikely that we’ll get the happy little elves as NPCs. 🧝
The Simpsons Gingerbread Couch is cool since there are already a few couch gag decorations in the game. It will probably fit in with the Gingerbread House, Mansion, and Simpsons House from previous Christmas events. It would’ve been interesting if after the gingerbread Simpsons sit on the couch then gingerbread Homer takes a bite out of gingerbread Bart like in the couch gag. 🛋️

No. But you can open the box with donuts if you’re out of tokens.

This 1st Week was all about obtaining Abraham J Simpson’s Dad and Grandpa ♥️ (and why I still feel this Event was meant for Father’s Day) 😉
When can we expect the next tasks? I have already done all of the ones in the available story so far. I can’t imagine that they would extend the event until January 8th if a lot of people will finish it this fast.
