Gather ’round the tapping device everyone, It’s Christmas in Springfield! And there’s nothing like the holidays and a little snow to bring crazy to our pocket-sized towns! What’s in store for us this time? Well, we’re tasked with seeing if Grampa can bore Death…well to death! Of course, an all-new event means all-new premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Old Theatre District and Abbey to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this London duo to your town…
Building/Decoration: Old Theatre District

Pros
-Helps with the event, earns a special premium rate
-Comes with a questline
-Lisa has a premium 4hr job at the Old Theatre District, Admire Broke Thespians
-Voiced
Cons
-Only helps with Act 2
-Abbey does not use the Old Theatre District for her tasks.
-Animated tasks are so-so. Not awful, but not great.
-Very Large footprint. And you cannot separate the two buildings.
Final Thought
Not a bad pickup. Considering there will only be 4 new premium combos (or items in general) with this event, worth the pickup. She’s fun, the Old Theatre District adds nicely to a London area of town, and she’s voiced. One of the few characters this event that is voiced.
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and I already picked it up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now).

Lisa getting another premium 4 hour task is not really a plus. She is one of the characters with way too many tasks already.
Old Theatre District and Abbey Simpson
It’s worth spending the sprinkles for (c’mon, it’s Female Homer Simpson in every way because it’s his half sister – yay a voiced Character, too!) 😊👍🏻
I didn’t find the dual Old Theatre Buildings that huge (although I do agree with Patric when he said “nothing is to scale in this Game App” – and where’s Sir Ian McKellen at? (lol!). 😂
I will admit Week 2 had the better Event Prizes for me (if not? my constructive criticism would be harsh via the “only worth it for the Premiums cause this Event has nothing” that seems to sum up most of 2019 in TSTO) 🤓
An instant buy…love the look of the old buildings, so made room for it in my current entertainment area.🤹🎭🎟😁

it was an instant buy… “baby, I got the donuts, you got the premiums, lets get together and have a little fun”… anyways, you don’t really want to start the quest right when you buy her, she needs to help with the event.. 🙂
This is the one premium I knew I would pull the trigger on. Fun little tasks so far.
To my neighbors: My game has the newest the glitch going around… I visit you, but have nothing to tap. Please know I’m not ignoring you! Hopefully EA will fix this soon.
Tap anyway, especially the buildings that you can vandalize. It works for me!

@EAHelp won’t admit there is a glitch called “fix my Neighboreenos please” (they will tell you “Tappers are actively clearing their Towns during an Event”) …. about 1/8 of my Neighboreenos show Buildings to Tap …. so I’m with everyone who says “visit and tap away” (and it won’t hurt to heckle EA later on Twitter, or Facebook!)😉
