Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow morning, Wednesday, December 25th, is Christmas!!!! Oh and also Week 3 (Act 2) of Abe’s in Toyland will be starting (what lousy timing on EA’s part…). The official start time is 10am ET.
While the Weeks 1 and 2 questlines won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished the prizes you’ll have a chance to complete it even after Week 2 starts, all of the Week 2 Premium items will be leaving the store.
So if you planned to purchase Abbey do so before she leaves our games tomorrow morning. (SIB Linked)
Also, here’s some inside info to help you prepare for Week 3 to start…
During Week 3 we’ll travel back in time to when Abe was a Toy Solider model! Of course, you’ll have to follow along with the dialogue to find out what happens, but the same characters used for Act 2 currency tasks should be used for the Act 3 currency tasks, with the exception Abbey. Again, the Abbey will NOT earn currency for Week 3. So we’re looking at:
Homer
Lisa
Bart
Milhouse
Ned
Grampa
Marge
Moe
New Premium Character for Act 3
You’ll also need Grampa free for the initial questline objective…
There will also be one new premium costume combo introduced during week 3, and that costume will be able to help with the currency earning for week 3. (150 donuts will be needed if you’d like to purchase the combo)
And that’s it my friends! Be prepared for Week 3 to start up tomorrow morning!

Finished both previous acts comfortably. Looking forward to tomorrow’s release. Think it’ll be around 3pm GMT for us Brits. I may not get started on it till the evening. Happy Christmas everyone!
Psh. I got plow king with a token and the very first quest requires a Barney bowlarama (250$) purchase. Smh just a snow truck to show for it. 🤦♀️ Hope next act will be better for my tokens.

Week 3 / Act 3
Well, if Tappers are rewarded with Rita LaFleur * (whom Abe was in a relationship with when Homer Simpson was young and after Mona Simpson had left him), that will be appreciated vs another ‘Character Skin’ (for a Character that has too many of them) and / or what was revealed to be a lame Premium involving Vice President Aaron Burr (L-EA-Z-Y indeed!)
* Gone Abie Gone (4th Episode, Season 24)
If there is a (or are) new Building(s), then I will appreciate the new Character Tasks (generating XP and Simpson’s $ is nice, having someplace new for Characters to be sent can be fun although these 4 Hour Tasks at Buildings need to be changed to 8 Hour, or 12 Hour – repetition gets boring and stupid).
I personally don’t need any further Decor (these get put into Storage, thanks to Item Limits), I have plenty of Land …. though I feel sorry for those who’ve ran out.
Finally, I figured out that it’s Philip Hefflin (Character holding Camera), whose seen in “Mad About the Toy” (11th Episode, Season 30) aka where Week 3 / Act 3 borrows from (an interesting choice by EA and the Writers).

Thanks for all the work you have put into this blog over the yrs. to keep us updated and informed about this game. If not for you, Patric, Safi and Wookie a lot of people would have quit the game a long time ago. Not only do you guys put more work into keeping us informed then we can imagin but you entertain us too.
