Let’s start with the fact once again, I a writing this “outside the time space continuum,” as it us not Friday…or even Thursday…and certainly not Saturday.
It is, in fact somewhere between Tuesday and Wednesday…and I have just watched a ton of traditional Christmas movies, and will have likely just gotten back from watching “Little Women,” my family’s choice for a Christmas Day Movie…which has been a tradition in our family for more than a decade.
We were not alone…the theater was packed to the brim. Traditions are like that. And if you have enough people with the same traditions, it can even turn into a cultural norm, or a religion.
It’s that time…calling all Addict Designers! We’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff, and this time around I want to see what you’ve done with the Abe’s in Toyland and/or Christmas stuff! This can be anything and everything Christmas, or content from this event. So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
As always please remember to limit it to 1-2 of your favorite areas/photos…we can’t show your whole town, unless you want to send in your entire town via town portrait.
So use this time to polish up your town and show us how creative you can be! Send in your Abe’s in Toyland/Christmas inspired designs (by 8pm ET Tuesday, January 7th) and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post featuring your designs on Wednesday, January 8th.
Remember, your designs can be anything and everything Christmas/Abe’s in Toyland!
So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET Tuesday, January 7th, can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂
Do you want to be featured on the next Springfield Showoff? Post your images in the Comments below or email us your screenshots at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We can’t wait to see YOUR designs! (Need help with images, just ask.)
Gather ’round the tapping device everyone, It’s Christmas in Springfield! And there’s nothing like the holidays and a little snow to bring crazy to our pocket-sized towns! What’s in store for us this time? Well, we’re tasked with seeing if Grampa can bore Death…well to death! Of course, an all-new event means all-new premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Evil Candy Cave and Krusty the Christian to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Christmassy Combo to your town…
