Well, despite the new year…Christmas continues in our pocket-sized towns. The snow got old a few days ago, and is now starting to turn black. The residents of Springfield are daydreaming of Spring…and ready to pummel the next person who sings Jingle Bells. However, finally, an end is in sight, as we reach the last week of our Christmas story…
Abe’s in Toyland follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Week 4 Act 4, we’re following the fourth, Grampa Saves Christmas, story…the one where he actually saves Christmas! Kinda, sorta. All of the prizes unlocked during week 4 play a role in that storyline.
So let’s take a look at prizes 2 and three on the Abe’s in Toyland Act 4 Prize track…Vandersniff & Whiffly and the Fallen Diva Apartments…

Vandersniff & Whiffly is an ok looking building since it works next to other buildings rather than on its own. I put mine next to Anchor Management and put a Boulangerie Patisserie on the other side of AM. I like the little animation of the various sprays that appear on the doorway. I’m happy that characters that can go to shops (Voodoo Queen, Young Artie, Wise Guy, Weird Al etc.) can also use this building. Fallen Diva Apartments is a building I wanted to see in the game for a while along with Rita LaFleur. I wasn’t surprised that Rita had some tasks here but I didn’t expect her visual tasks to also be here. I put it near my other apartments in my residential area and I thought the fire escape would make it difficult to design but it works as an extension when lining up with the pavement.
Vandersniff & Whiffly – I can hear / read the jokes of ‘another typical design structure in Springfield’ and I won’t defend that (even though that’s kinda how these Buildings are like in the cartoon), but I will take it vs more dumb Decor (it’s got fun animation when in use, Grandpa Simpson has a Task – I know it’s another 4 Hour one, go complain to EA directly at you know where if you want different Task lengths (lol!)
Fallen Diva Apartments – I ♥️ it (Patric is correct in that nothing is to scale in this Game App, well I’d take Apartment Buildings in this scale and style vs what we were getting prior). Rita LaFleur has great Character Tasks here (correct – 8 Hours and 24 Hours – maybe EA got the hint about too many 4 Hour Tasks?) and I like the animation when in use.
Favourite Building design is still those which allow a road down the centre (I hope we get more of these in 2020). ☺️

Is this the end of TSTO Addicts? Nothing but a week old thread with no approved comments to display. I tried another game this week. It only allows a few minutes of gameplay a day without spending money for resources. It made me think how good Tapp d Out still is. I’m a 7 year player maxed out on levels, land, and income.

The last couple of weeks have been holiday weeks, we move a little slower around here during the holidays.
Not that I need to defend myself…but dude, SCROLL. This site is not 1 static post. This morning Safi had a post up, last weeek (amount other game play posts), Patric had a Friday Filler, I had a Musings Post, we had a brand new Addicts Live Podcast up and Safi had another math post.

I didn’t mean any offense. I just thought it was likely posted last Wednesday when that week’s content dropped. People are so thin skinned when reading intent into others comments.
Thin-skinned is a national affliction. The news of the day puts everyone on a hair trigger. I think a lot of anger is misdirected…transference. We get pissy over what we can control…right?

You are correct in that there is no Game App on par with TSTO (free download, no in add load screens, you don’t have to spend real 💰, more Levels then any) …. but I thought during Xmas and New Years there was more from TSTO Addicts Staff then expected (I was respectfully expecting that all were celebrating / on vacation, I was not expecting anything until after this Event ended).
