Just a reminder that the Abe’s in Toyland Event Ends TOMORROW January 8th.
We’re well into the New Year. The Wise Men have arrived. It’s time for Christmas to end.
As far as questlines go, what’s happened in the past is that the current prize you’re working on (on any questline) you were able to finish. Once that current prize was completed then the questline disappeared.
This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.
As far as what is going to happen AFTER the Event… well, we can’t know… until it is over. Until then all we can do is speculate. So, patience. We all have to verify what happens after together.
Also, It’s EA so who the heck knows…
Now as far as to what is going with the Event, here is a brief rundown…
- Questlines linked directly to the progression of the event will go. Like the Main Questline that pulled you through all 4 Weeks. (unless you’ve started one, any questlines started you’ll be able to finish that part one the event ends)
- However, the questlines linked directly to the prizes and Premium Characters you’ve won will remain. (so Aaron Burr, Rita, etc.)
- The event removal will likely require an app store update to fully remove it from your game. So don’t panic when the timer runs down and the event isn’t out of your game… It may require an app store update to remove everything.
I know some of you still try to push that last few minutes of the collection as far as you can. However, with the last few events, EA has really shut off the ability to play on “borrowed time”. In other words, once the timer runs out the ability to collect prizes ends. So don’t count on getting any extra time with this one. Try to finish everything up before the timer runs out tomorrow morning.
So finish up those questlines, relax, and wait to see what EA has next in store for us.

It was a pleasant enough event, but not a fun holiday one like in the past.
I’ve seen a few posts about visiting neighbors and nothing to tap. Almost all my neighbors are like that. I’ve contacted EA a number of times, but only get the “being sent to higher level and not to expect a reply”. ☹️
I don’t have an update yet. Does anyone else?

I’m probably in the minority but I would really like another week (or 2) of snow since I have been designing a Christmas village area and it used to be 6 weeks of snow in previous Christmas events.
EA should do a recap of all the events. like a multi event of events…
I learned to appreciate what I could (as in the Content obtained that didn’t get Stored), to continue having zero expectations (I’m fine if we get a Mini Event tomorrow, or nothing for a week), I won’t defend bad decisions (or the lack of handling glitches) from EA, but I’m glad TSTO technically is still free to play (let’s see what happens in 2020).
I wonder if we’ll get a new event tomorrow 🤔 I hope so!

I rushed most of the event due to the holydays
I had some silver coins and only two items to get. Was busy and thought I had today yet to finish all up.. This morning I found the event over for my Town 🙁

This “new” format is so easy that, track prizes and quest lines should be done by now. wooohooo

Got all the prizes easy. Really enjoyed the tokens giving free shots at the mystery box, thought that was a neat idea. Hope it continues. Mystery box started out hot for me, than gave me stuff I didn’t want. So it goes. Overall I give the event… an F. Yet another Christmas event gone and the Raccoon in the cute little sweater did not return. I want that bloody bandit.
Any idea what time event ends, and which timezone? I cant find a timer in my game on android
