Well, despite the new year…Christmas continues in our pocket-sized towns. The snow got old a few days ago, and is now starting to turn black. The residents of Springfield are daydreaming of Spring…and ready to pummel the next person who sings Jingle Bells. However, finally, an end is in sight, as we reach the last week of our Christmas story…
Abe’s in Toyland follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Week 4 Act 4, we’re following the fourth, Grampa Saves Christmas, story…the one where he actually saves Christmas! Kinda, sorta. All of the prizes unlocked during week 4 play a role in that storyline.
Guys, we’ve reached the end. It’s time for Christmas to be over in Springfield. Of course, it’s not over until we’ve broken down the final prize…Rita LaFleur.

I can’t get Rita to play romantic tunes, it says I need grampa, which I do, but they never hook up even when both are free. What am I missing? I also have the Diva apartments. Thanks in advance!
Try storing and replacing the Springfield retirement home. That may reset Grampa and make the game see he’s free

The game won’t let me complete the task “Make Rita LaFleur Play Romantic Tune”. Anyone able to tell me what I need to do to make that possible?
Why does my rita not have the play a romantic tune mission! I cant complete part 2 and its very frustrating
I really like Rita LaFleur and think she’s one of the best characters in the event. I don’t mind that she has multiple tasks at the Fallen Diva Apartments since she lives there and its likely that Rita and the apartments will return and be bundled together in the future otherwise she will have one default task (60m) and have a bunch of 4 hour tasks (Swelldorado, Smooches, $ Casino, Boiled Potato) and an extra 8 hour (Chez Guevara), though she won’t have a 12 hour task or 24 hour task without the apartments.
I like her visual task with Grampa at the piano (I also like Grampa’s visual task with Mona) and the other one with her playing the piano with her feet. It’s a little disappointing that she doesn’t have her own 12 hour task. I would like to see Spiro’s released one day and maybe she could have her own 12 hour task there to be a restaurant singer.

♥️ the Character (yeah she’s not voiced, but neither are most of the Characters we obtain), the Visual Tasks are amusing … at least Week 4 / Act 4 was more rewarding then Week 3 / Act 3 (this Event just wasn’t Christmas (lol!) 😉
