Saturday Simpsons Fun

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s Saturday. Christmas is over.  Nothing new replaced it  So let’s have a little fun!

Here’s a couple of Simpsons Food related things I found on the interwebs this week that made me smile…

So they are food challenges where you have to eat the weirdest stuff…and then there are food challenges where you have to try NOT to eat the most delicious things.  Here’s a couple of Try NOT to Eat Challenges based on the Simpsons…

And I’ve got to tell you, I’m not sure I could resist…

And this one is based on the delicious food at Springfield USA in Universal Studios…

What do you think?  Could you resist the Simpsons Food featured?

And that’s it my friends!  Enjoy the rest of your Saturday…and, if you do eat the Simpsons food, be sure you have plenty of antacids!

  1. In the second video, I could resist everything but the squishee since I’m vegetarian and allergic to egg and dairy. The donut might be worth it, though. You can buy those online.

Of course, it has been established that Krustyburgers are suitable for vegetarians since whatever they put in it definitely ain’t meat….

I like lemons so the “punishment” for drinking the squishee would be easy.

  2. FOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!

  3. Thanks Alissa! That was fun to watch and brought back fond memories of eating our own Krustyburgers in Springfield in Orlando Universal Studios. Don’t be jealous but my husband is a Casanova on the Love Tester. 😉

  5. Thanks for sharing those, Alissa!

On a related, if slightly off-topic, note…. There’s a poster on You Tube called “Binging with Babish” that tries to create the foods seen in certain scenes from TV and film, i.e., the milk shake that John Travolta orders in Pulp Fiction or Michael Scott’s everything pretzel from The Office. Of course, he does his spin on several of the foods that pop up in The Simpsons. Off the top of my head, among the recipes he creates are Homer’s lunar waffles (not as gooey as Homer’s, but still looks tasty), Ralph’s crayon sandwich (grilled cheese with food coloring), and Skinner’s POW fish stew (right down to the four kinds of rice and the spices).

Anyway, it might be worth a look if you want to try and whip up something different, say, for an upcoming Super Bowl party, or just think you can cook better than Lunchlady Doris…..

Hmmm, now I’m hungry…. Where’s the nearest Krusty Burger?

  7. Since a day or 2 also Bart screen more at
    Belgium

  8. Universal Studios hands down for the enjoyment of Simpsons related food and beverages (they nailed it from the Homer sized 🍩’s to the Duff 🍻’s).

A Food Coma for me is actually when it’s time to visit Knott’s Berry Farm for the Boysenberry Food Festival (mmmm 🍓’s!)
