Saturday Simpsons Fun-Dessert Dogs

It’s Saturday.  And while we have new content in TSTO…it’s still Saturday.  And Saturday’s are for FUN!

I’ve got another Simpsons Food-related item to share with you this week…Dessert Dogs! And if I wasn’t away this weekend, I’d totally try to make these with the Tiny Addict.  Maybe another day! Anyway, let’s take a look at what has me smiling this week…

Back in January of 2018, almost 2 years ago exactly, I shared some “Binging with Babish” Simpsons related videos.  You can check that post out here. And I really want to try some of these recipes this winter.  Now that the Tiny Addict is 4, we may try to do some together. 🙂  I’ll keep you posted. 

Anyway…this week I came across a Brand New Babish video.  What’s Babish cooking up this time?  Marge Simpson’s Oven Fresh Bake Off-winning dessert dogs!

For those curious, this is from Season 16, E2 “All’s Fair in Oven War”

They’re deep-fried cookie dough “dogs” in a hardened meringue bun, drizzled with cherry syrup and caramel.  Yum.
