Of course, a new event gives EA an excuse to stock our stores with returning premium content, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the returning Mooch Bart, President Lisa, or Rockstar Maggie to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding these throwbacks to your town…

Opinion on it Now: Not available in the Yearbook Mystery Box, so if you want it this is your only opportunity to get it. It’s not a bad pickup. 75 donuts for a stand-alone character…”this day and age”…in TSTO isn’t bad. Plus, as an added benefit to this event, if you have Mooch Bart he’ll complete questline tasks, so you can send regular Bart to earn event currency…

Opinion on it Now: Rockstar Maggie IS available in the Yearbook Mystery Box…and therefore, that’s where you should try and unlock her. Pass on grabbing her through this event.

Just put the Kwik E Mart into storage & all of your characters should be released. You can then get it out of storage & put it back in your Springfield. 🙂

What usually works for me is, store the building, then put it back.
I have all of these characters already, but I find President Lisa the single most annoying character in the whole game. If I hear… “reading, writing an refilling the ocean…” one more time……

If you already have all of these Past Premiums? Then it’s apparent Old Homer and Marge are what’s left for you to complete the “future doppelgangers collection”. 😂
If you don’t have any of these Past Premiums? Well, EA has made it clear that they’re not necessary to have in this Mini Event (you can still complete your collection of future doppelgangers, if you want (lol!) 🤷🏼♂️
I have a feeling most Tappers are going to enjoy these more than they will the Event Prizes (except for the future Grandkids, yeah these go swell with your future doppelgangers collection). 😉
I was wondering if Lisa President is a premium or if she has remained a freemium one since she was originally a prize.
On Tapped out Wiki.. she is still listed as a freemium character.

I already have all of these and I enjoy their tasks a lot! 🙂
I hope EA continues to invest in this game…the dialogue is funny and there is so much available that isn’t in our towns yet. I also like when EA offered a character combo for a $9.99 donut purchase; hope they do that again sometime 🙂

I’m stuck on the Heathrow teleportation device. I had a daily challenge to send Springfielders to buy milk. Mooch Bart and President Lisa are stuck there. I can’t collect them. I collect all of the peeps that are there and they all go right back. I’ve tried all of the tried and true tricks and nothing frees my characters. Any suggestions? This has been days. Nearly all of my characters are there. Sigh.
Try storing the KwikEMart and then unstoring it and see if that works. Sometimes visiting neighbors also will release characters stuck in glitches. Another option is to contact EA about it. Hope it gets straightened out for you soon! Have a lovely day 🙂
