Update time in TSTO! Time for the first official update of the New Year! As the latest mini-event in TSTO hit our towns…this time to celebrate the New Year…? I guess Santa didn’t give EA that calendar I said they needed for Christmas.
Remember, this event is designed to follow a series of tasks via the questline to unlock prizes. For each of the parts of the Holidays of Future Past questline, you’ll have to earn 
via various character tasks in order to unlock the prize for that part.
So let’s take a look at prizes 4, the Ultranet…

Zia Simpson: It was pretty simple: hours of coding, an old blueprint algorithm, neural mapping…

President Lisa: Zia, maybe you could fine-tune your project a little to make its virtual reality a little less….real.
Zia Simpson: But Mom, you said the Ultranet should be mankind’s greatest tool in the search for truth and understanding!
President Lisa: I don’t remember saying that…
Zia Simpson: Oh yeah, that was the virtual version of you. I guess I spend a lot more time with her because she’s less demanding…
President Lisa: I’m not demanding! Now change the damn settings!

Thank you! I’ve finished the event, but didn’t recognize any of the storyline. Did some searching of my Springfield and found a large block that had finished construction but had never been tapped to come into being. So, I’m starting the storyline now.

Even though it is a huge building, it does fit with the other tall buildings from the Sci-Fi event 3 years ago like Skyberdine Systems, Atomic Hula Hoop, Dome-iciles and the office buildings. Like CJBrownLV said, its great to get buildings and decorations that can have roads going through them, I would like to see more bridges that go over rivers or items that can go in rivers.
The Ultranet is a cool looking item with an even cooler animation, I only wish that along with President Lisa, Zia had a 6 hour task here (or her 8 hour visual task takes place outside the Ultranet) since I like President Lisa’s task outside Town Hall. I can’t remember when an item apart from characters and costumes had a 5 part questline to them, the questline was very interesting. 🌐🤖🏢
Despite the ridiculous size I like this building, the animation is cool as is the noise it makes when you tap on it.

It does have cool animation when a Character is Tasking at it (you can also place a road down the centre – my favourite thing EA offered that was new with Buildings) ….. but it’s just too big (14×14 ! this should’ve been 7×7 in size!) and now queue Patric’s on point comment “nothing is to scale in this Game App” (it’s so true!) 😂
Has anyone else noticed a pattern on BSOD (Bart Screen Of Death)?
It seems I can’t grind more than 15-20 donuts from bloodmobiles (using God’s money) before getting a BSOD. And after being kicked out the frequency of BSOD’s is much higher than usual for a few hours.
The same thing happens when farming KEMs… I will get about 2 or 3 Bart screens… as I farm about 265 KEMs.at a time.
It was okay for most of December but came back in the new year and seems to have gotten worse with the new event. I don’t get is when collecting from tasks or buildings. Only when farming.
I get some with KEMs too, but with bloodmobiles I’m losing millions of cash when it happens because when I logon again the game acts as if I already had my donuts.
It seems that we are getting this type of buildings more often now… hmm… like they are designing for us now.. or they just don’t want to design multiple buildings… it is a nice decoration/building. ..
I do ♥️ being able to put a road down the centre (I just wished this Building was half it’s size) 😉
