Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Still playing a giant game of catch-up (anyone have the mustard?) between both work and this site. This was the first time I’ve taken a week off in February, ever. And while it was great for travel (Disney crowd level was great), it apparently was bad for work (busy season)! So I’m plugging away trying to get caught up on both.
I’ll get there…eventually.
Anyway, something I wanted to address that I’m seeing several times in the comments. Martin and the prize track….
A number of you are stating that you’ve unlocked it, but you don’t have the costume for Martin.
There’s a pretty simple explanation for that. It’s not a costume for Martin.
It’s an animated task for Martin.
If you send Martin on this animated task he’ll be dressed like Africa, and do a little dance…and fall on his face. But you’ll only see the costume if he’s on that task.
So what’s the task?
“Present History Project”
And it can be found in Martin’s Task List…
So wonder no more, stress no more, and curse EA no more (well for this anyway)…because the Martin Mystery has been solved!
Thoughts? Comments? Have you dressed up like a country and fallen on your face? Sound off below!
I knew it was a task…. am I the only one cursing EA for not making it a whole new skin for Martin and tasks associated with it??? maybe EA is afraid that they’ll get sued for some type of cultural appropriation….
TBH because there was no 1 part quest to do the task I completely forgot it was even a prize and just carried on with the event. Now I’ve seen this post I might have to log in specifically just to put him on the task just so I can say I’ve seen it at least once.
Haven’t been able to log in the game for days now, HELP!!!
Head to @EAHelp on Twitter
EA Tech Support will guide you through resetting password on Origin Account
(it’s kind of a known issue)
OR if Bart Simpson Screen of Death?
(Yep! You got a Network issue)
Thanks Alissa
I guess it is ok but kind of a weak prize. I would not have figured out what it was without your post.

Slight correction of your vernacular. Africa is a continent not a country. There are many countries on the continent of Africa though.
Gotta love the one person who finds the one throwaway sentence at the bottom of the post… 🙄
Nothing confusing, except L-EA-Z-Y thinks a 4 Hour Character Task is the equivalent to one Event Prize 🙄
I haven’t dressed as a Country, or Continent, just representing Clan Brown every year at the Highland Games with our Tartan! 🏴🇬🇧
“Animated Job for Martin”, I guess reading is a lost art🤬
Thanks. I am one who didn’t get the Martin thing.

I hope your had a great trip, your kids are at such a great age for it too. There so fun to watch at that age , it’s all so magical for them. I love Disney… you went at a great time too. Were going back the beginning of June little too hot for me then, but it’s for my son’s 7th birthday.
Have fun! Im already thinking about our next trip lol
But keep your eyes here for a fun announcement soon, working on a fun Disney project 😀
I cant wait… for the announcement. How exciting…
TYVM I was hoping you would address this issue (I gave up and sent him on a 12 or 24 hour Task). I’ll cancel his Task if I become impatient-what are the odds of that, you ask, slim to definitely)
Two points that may have caused confusion:
1) you may have thought it would be a skin
2) when you won the prize, it didn’t include a quest line as they have in the past. To quote some people l-EA-zy. Must have been EA Bob programming just before his coffee break.
Yeah, normally when you earn an animated task, you get a 1 step quest to actually have the character perform the task. Not this time.
Pardon my ignorance, but who is this EA Bob you speak of? Is he a metaphorical EA employee, or an actual one?
It’s Patric’s joke. Not real (that we know of)
According to Patric’s theory, EA Bob is the sole programmer assigned to TSTO.
As we never rEAlly know the names of actual employees at EA, I just call any of the programming “team,” Bob. And as most of the programming for TSTO has been extremely simple and repetitive, I imagined that Bob only worked part time…at best.
All hail EA Bob.
Can we start an “EA Bob Society”?
So, since Martin is kept busy recycling as often as possible, he will never perform this task in my Springfield. 😉
