Black History Month Prize Guide: Act 3, Prize 5 the Bully Boss

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s update time in Springfield!  And after 8 years of TSTO, we’re finally tackling Black History Month!  No time like the present for EA, huh?   What’s in store for us this time?  Well, we’re tasked with finding out the history of Dr. Hibbert, Carl, Lou, and the Simpson Family!  Loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up.

Black History Month (Heroes of Springfield) follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it.  This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!

For Act 3 we’re tasked with collecting Police Badges!  Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the third part of the story, that time Lou was a hero!

So let’s take a look at the fifth and final Act 3 prize…the Bully Boss…

Bully Boss is a brand new character for Springfield, and part of the Black History Character Collection:

How You Unlock it:
In the Lukewarm of the Twilight Pt. 5
Make Lou and Wiggum Bring Lewis Back to Springfield- 4hrs
Collect Police Badges- x475

Once achieved you’ll unlock the Bully Boss (who’s actual name is Chester..)…

He does come with a full questline, here’s a look at that questline:

Running With the Bullies Pt. 1
Bully Boss starts

Chester: Welcome, young bully. I see you’ve come seeking my counsel.
Nelson: Nah, I’m just here to throw rocks at trains.
Chester: But I am the Boss of all Bullies! The Master of Mayhem! The Wizard of Wedgies!
Nelson: Do you live in that box?
Chester: Your training shall begin immediately! Lift up these bags to strengthen your wedgie muscles… then carry them to my box.
Make Bully Boss Take Nelson Under His Wing- 8hrs, Earns 275, 70xp
Make Nelson Do Menial Chores– 8hrs, Earns $275, 70xp
Nelson: What does cleaning the box you live in have to do with bullying?
Chester: It’s to teach you discipline. Also I was manipulating you, which is a form of bullying.
Nelson: Nice. Maybe I could learn from you. Can I call you Dad?
Chester: No.

Running With the Bullies Pt. 2
Nelson starts

Nelson: It’s almost lunch time. I usually accept “donations” from nerds around this time.
Chester: Getting lunches from kids is kids’ stuff — it’s all baloney sandwiches. If you want to get the good stuff, like stew in a mug, you have to go after the teachers.
Nelson: Who wants stew in a mug?
Chester: More stew in a mug for me!
Make Bully Boss Steal Teachers’ Lunches- 1hr, Earns $70, 17xp
Skinner: You seem a little old to be attending elementary school.
Chester: The only one getting schooled is you. Gimme your lunch!
Skinner: I will do no such thing.
Chester: *gives Skinner a wedgie*
Skinner: Fine, take it. Mother never packs the chips I like anyway.

Running With the Bullies Pt. 3
Nelson starts

Nelson: That was intense. I never thought of bullying the teachers.
Chester: No one is off limits. Bullying even works on old people.
Hans Moleman: No, don’t take my medicine! I need it to keep my face from unwrinkling.
Make Bully Boss Bully the Elderly- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp
Nelson: Bullying nerds is one thing. Even Principal Skinner I could get behind. But bullying old people just seems wrong.
Chester: We can bully them even after they get old. Let’s get shovels and go bully some corpses!
Nelson: What?!
Chester: I went too far there, didn’t I? Yeah, let’s not do that.

Running With the Bullies Pt. 4
Bully Boss starts

Chester: Every good bully needs to have minions.
Nelson: I don’t have minions but my friends Dolph, Kearney, and Jimbo help me terrorize the school.
Chester: Bullies don’t have friends. Let me show you how to inspire them to be your followers.
Make Bully Boss Address the Crowd- 12hrs, Earns $420, 100xp
Nelson: You inspired them alright, but now they’re YOUR followers, not mine.
Chester: Awesome! Tell them to get some shovels and meet me at the graveyard!
Nelson: Forget it, weirdo. I’m out.

Running With the Bullies Pt. 5
Nelson starts

Nelson: I appreciate you teaching me everything you know. And I hope I never have to see you again.
Chester: It was my pleasure. I guess in a way, you’ve become like a friend to me.
Nelson: Bullies don’t have friends, remember?
Make Bully Boss Backtrack On What He Said- 8hrs, Earns $275, 70xp
Nelson: Fine, I’ll let you call me your friend… if you promise to leave me alone from now on.
Chester: It’s a deal, friend!
Nelson: Now beat it, creep! Go walk around the town with the rest of the losers!
Chester: Such good bullying. My work here is done.

Bully Boss’s Permanent Tasks:

Task Length Earns Location
Steal Teachers Lunches 1hr $70, 17xp Springfield Elementary
Bully the Elderly 4hrs $175, 45xp Springfield Retirement Home
Steal Offering Money 8hrs $275, 70xp Mega Church

And that’s it my friends, the details on the Bully Boss (Chester)…the fifth, and final Act 3 Black History prize!

Up next? Nothing, you’ve completed Act 3.  Nothing to do now but sit back and wait for Act 4 (Finally, the final Act!) to start next week…

  1. I wish EA called him Chester instead of Bully Boss even though there are 2 other Chesters in the game. His indoor tasks are better than Abe Simpson I who has all of his at the Brown House (or Deep Dark Woods). I was wondering why he didn’t have an 8 hour task in my task list because I don’t have the Mega Church and The Patriarch in my town. I like that he uses it instead of a common freemium building but maybe the First Church of Springfield could’ve been the alternative to not owning the Mega Church.
I like his visuals but wish that his 12 hour one is at the Bully Bus or Crowd of Bullies rather than on the spot. Its neat that Nelson was used in part 1 of his questline but could’ve been used for the rest of it, part 2 could have Nelson Stealing Teachers’ Lunches, part 3 Feel Guilty for Bullying the Elderly, part 4 Lose His Friends (and other bullies Be Inspired by Chester’s Speech) and part 5 Contradict What Chester Said. 📦⛪🥪

  2. Just a question. Why are these task in such high numbers. I set a timer but feel like I’m still falling behind. I’ve never had such an issue. It’s usually that last item at 400 points. But each task is 300 to 475. I don’t have premium characters on this either.

Anyone have the same problem keeping up?
    😤

  3. I am way behind on this one I usually breeze through anywoo I will keep plugging awaw

  4. Should be finished this act tomorrow, breeeeeeeze

  5. I tip my hat to anyone who’s actually kept up with this slog. I’m doing 2 and 3 at the same time at this point, and I log on as often as I can. I’m in no way going to finish this, and I doubt I’ll even come close. At least I’m not losing anything I desperately wanted.

  6. I just got a small update about Maggie. Any thoughts?

  7. What day does Act 4 start on. I looked for the calendar from a few weeks ago but could not find it. Just don’t want to send characters on 24hr tasks before knowing the start date.

  8. 🎵🎶🎶🎵 I GOT MY GGR, I GOT MY GGR 🎵🎵🎵🎶🎶🎶😎

  9. aw!!! how lame.. only 12 and 24 hrs visual tasks… i guess i will have to start sending everyone on a 12hr task… 🙁 … this event and last one have been SO BORING!!!.. so Meh…

  10. Off topic…the Jay G bundle is showing up for me. I already have all 3 items…is anyone else getting this?

  11. No where near completed Act 3 yet. Would have thought those who have finished must used donuts. I’m still at least 4 days away still.
Must admit it’s really annoying doing the grind for a token that’s useless to me !!!
Looking forward to adding Chester to my game though.

    • I’m just getting a jump on this post because we’re heading into the weekend, and monday’s are usually Safi’s musings, and I’ll need to do an Act 4 reminder. But Act 4 doesn’t start until Tuesday. So you have all of today, all of saturday, all of sunday, and all of Monday to finish before Act 4 starts (plus a few hours on Tuesday morning)

I just started on the final part of the act. I have not used donuts. But we have another 3-4 days to do it.

Also, if this is anything like prior events, we’ll be able to finish the tasks that you are on. That means all you have to do is get to the final part of the act, then move on to the next act. You’ll be able to finish the final part after the event is over.

But then again, there is no guarantee of that.
