It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

The Simpsons are back tonight with an all-new episode! What will happen in the new episode tonight? Do you have the same feels about the Disney invasion in Springfield as i do?
Black History Act 4 hits on Tuesday, how are you doing with Act 3? Ready for this to all end? I know some of you noted the servers were completely down yesterday…and the early hours of this morning…hopefully it clears up! I know the tapping for this one is a doozy!

I am most interested in the tokens for the mystery box, so I unless I’m also interested in the final prize for each track – I stop working on it after I get the token and go on to the next track if it has arrived. Then once I get the remaining two tokens (hopefully), I might start working on the final prizes if I want them.
Last time I did this, I skipped one last prize entirely in an earlier act (not the final one, I think) but the icon on the task list for that act refused to go away. Found out that it let me actually finish the act, had to tap the track icon in the task list because the complete event icon at the upper right was gone. This was after the event was supposed to be finished. It was the one with the blob Homer (which is what I had skipped).
I also bought one item on the event mystery box from the store and then picked up another two cheap in the Yearbook. (Just kept refreshing until I found them). That left me with two items that I can definitely get with the two tokens remaining as prizes.
i hardly log in now… but when i do log in, is mostly just to rush the tasks of the event and attempt to farm donuts… keep a 4500 quota or above…. and also to send everyone i can on a VISUAL task…

Question – is it just me or are these quests this time MUCH more difficult to get to? I need so many badges or hats that it seems impossible for me to actually reach all the prizes for these quests. Usually I have no issues but I will not be done by next week. Any tips or thoughts on what I can do would be appreciated.
My only suggestions are:
Purchase the Premium characters that earn 8 Event Currency every 4 hours
Log in every 4 hours or as often as possible
Spend donuts to Rush tasks – primarily those of the Premium to earn 8 .
Boy, do I miss searching out ‘evil’ temporary characters that are roaming my town.
Visiting neighbors and hunting down the same.
Earning currency that allows me to ‘build’ and thus be able to ‘create’ and thus ‘acquire’.
Heck, the Elf Canon is still in my town.

Hey everybody! I was just thinking about how cool the zombie sandwich is and wondering if there are any other TSTO items that you can use to put multiple characters on tasks. Just wondering if there are any I forgot about after events were finished or maybe something in the yearbook with that functionality. I’m glad to have the office of unemployment to use to put my characters on tasks, but it’s getting to the point where it’s just taking too long to get them (nearly 400!) off of tasks. I’d like to keep some on regular tasks, though.
Oh, and while on the topic, may as well just put it out these that we could really use something to get all characters off tasks at the same time! A million years ago, I played Farmville — lame, I know — but you could earn tokens to use to harvest all of your trees at the same time, etc. Any kind of thing that could make this task less time consuming would be great.
Items using multiple characters that I can think of offhand: the Snowglobe, Radioactive Man Statue, the Stonecutter Table, the Carousel, Moe’s Express, Baby Moe’s lemonade stand, the Audience Participation table, the Terwilliger Family performs at The Opera Stage, the Simpson’s family rides the rollercoaster and log ride from Itchy and Scratchy Land and the B-sharps perform at The Swap Meet Stage. You can also send the firefighters to a location together through the station house. Hope that helps.

If they all worked like moe,s express would be great, some of them you have to search for the character, to time consuming
True, if you don’t want to hunt and peck characters but just send them through the building or decoration, that narrows the list down a bit. Giant Snowglobe, Audience Participation Table, Springfield Fire Station, previously mentioned Moe’s Express, I&S land rides: Log Ride, Zoominator and Injury 500. The airport terminal will send up to 3 characters on flights and you can send up to 4 characters to the Rock, Hip Hop and Pop stages. There are a couple group acts for the Open Air Stage if the characters are free. There are a few places that send a single character like The Nightmare Pile, Spooky Campfire and Springfield Bowl. And of course, you can always send out characters en masse through the Unemployment Office.
WXMel: There are some locations that almost all characters can go to. So sometimes I just send everybody to that location, one by one, and then pick them up all at the once. Tasks for this include something like overpay for Sex on the Beach and Attend Parenting Seminars (only for the guys, of any age, even babies) and stay at the Swelldorado. JazzyTimes was like this during its quest, and sometimes the daily challenge has something that sends a large number of characters on the same task (even though you only need to assign a small number). Sometimes practically everybody can go on that task. Even better, sometimes the location pays them premium even if they are not premium characters.
I wish they were more like Moe’s Express, where if you tap on it, the whole list of characters that can go there in separate tasks comes up and you can just select them. Daily challenge tasks for multiple characters are like that also. I assume Zombie Sandwich also.
Thanks to all who replied — this is all great info! What I would really like to do is to put them all on tasks at the same time (unemployment office) but then get them all off of tasks at the same time, too — or at least have it take less than 5 minutes. I’ve been obsessively collecting characters from the yearbook and various events (Black Friday!!) — now I’ve got too many to deal with economically. I’ve just been thinking lately that the maybe the best thing to do to keep earning some money but not spend too much time is to get many, but not all, on tasks using items like the zombie sandwich.
One of the few things I did not get is Moe’s Express (which does sound like the zombie sandwich). Hope it comes around again before too long!
I was looking at the graphic CALENDAR and thought today was the start of Part 4.
But, nay, Tuesday is the start.

I just think it’s funny when I see people going off on the least little thing .
I know there’s so much pain and suffering and cruelty in the world .
But there is love and good in people that I see more often.
I’m just a monkey sitting on a rock but I try to help people if I can .
