Black History Month Act 4 Starts Tomorrow

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow morning, Tuesday, March 3rd, Act 4 of the Black History Month Event will be starting .  The official start time is 10am ET.

The Act 3 questline (nor will the Acts 1 or 2) won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished the prizes you’ll have a chance to complete it even after Act 4 starts.  But ALL questlines must be finished by the time Act 4 ends next week…

Also, here’s some inside info to help you prepare for Act 4 to start…

During Act 4 it’ll be Grampa’s turn to tell his story…the Simpson family history!  Of course, you’ll have to follow along with the dialogue to find out what happens, but the same characters used for Acts 1, 2 and 3 currency tasks should be used for the Act 4 including the premium characters.  So we’re looking at:
Homer
Lisa
Bart
Grampa
Marge
Moe
Quimby
Carl
Lou
Bernice Hibbert
Dr. Hibbert
Hibbert’s Dad
Stogie
The Patriarch
New Premium character for Act 4

You’ll also need Wiggum free for the initial questline objective…

There will also be one new premium character combo introduced during Act 4, and that character will be able to help with the currency earning for Act 4.  (150 donuts will be needed if you’d like to purchase the combo)

And that’s it my friends!  Be prepared for Act 4 to start up tomorrow morning!

Thoughts on Act 3?  Ready for Act 4?  Excited to see where the story goes? Just ready to see it all end? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Most difficult event ever with the least amount of worth while prizes…..coincidence…..I think not…..just happens to be about black history month….work twice as hard to achieve the same result…..this event is a joke

And before y’all start with no it’s not think how many excuses you’re already thinking of to deny it’s not…..let’s go!

  2. I’m guessing the building that the currency earning characters go to will be Virgil’s Cabin or Lard Lad Donuts in act 4.

  3. I don’t think this event and prize tracks could of been completed on time without at least one premium character bought during act1 or early on in act2.

I also find the prizes for the acts kinda confusing and don’t understand how they relate to the event. What’s up with a huckleberryFin Bart ? How does bullies fit in with the celebration ?

TSTO has gone off the rails before with stretching the connections but they really have gone off the rails this time.

Maybe Easter 🐣 will bring better content…… like the great egg war of Easter long ago.

  4. I’ve been playing this game from the very beginning and I must say this is the worst event ever. I’ve never been behind every single week. The nightmare of the Family Guy The Quest For Stuff formula is in full swing: using the same characters repeatedly leaving 220 others to roam around useless. Mind you this is just to get you to spend money on donuts.

    Urgh. Over it.

    • Unless you don’t sleep (and you should), or spend 🍩’s to expedite (if you truly want the content), obtaining every Premium Character has helped (if you’re grinding thru each Act) ….. as now there are 4 earning 8 each 4 hours (32) + the 11 earning 5 each 4 hours (55) for a total of 87 every 4 hours.

Your choices also include not Tapping (waiting for another Event) and I have a feeling more are doing this …. but I will say Act 4 is better than Act 3, so far (just don’t expect any Black History Month continuity).

  5. Yay – Act 4 starting soon! That means this tedious grindy event will soon be over!
Acceleration is such a waste of donuts, but event almost undoable without them. Especially for those of us that need to work and sleep

  6. I’m surprised more people aren’t complaining about how hard this event has been, as I’ve been playing almost 24/7 since the beginning and am still slightly behind. Not all of us are at the level where we can donut farm for premium characters and 6 times a day for 5 weeks is a lot to ask. I feel like they are chasing some players away as I’ve thought about giving up on this event multiple times. If they continue needing this much effort I’ll still play casually as I enjoy the game and have invested time, but I’ll be dropping out of the events.

Ppl complaining in the past about events being too mundane was more about changing up how challenges work as opposed to dumping a ton more cycles per prize. I just can’t quite play 6x a day with the requirements of real life events.

  7. I’m so excited that part 4 is about to start
that I dropped my Hot Pocket .

    See ya bye. 👽

  8. Kinda hating this event. I have 11 chars running, setting timers for every 4 hours, yet I’ve not completed any track. By my calculations I’ll finish this week’s track tomorrow at about 4pm. Not wasting donuts. Any time I don’t need all 11 to finish an item I send the rest for items from week one or two trying to finish those out but that seems pretty pointless unless I just focus on those and leave week 4 unfinished. Need 13 4 hour shifts to finish the first two chars.

    • Since you’re already working on the characters, you can probably still work on collecting the currency for them after the event is over on the 12th. I managed to complete all three acts about less than 24 hours before the next one starts with 11 characters but that’s only because on most days I manage to log in 5 times a day from 8am to 12am.

  9. Ready for act 4, haven’t found it hard or used to many donuts, should be finished a leisurely Sunday, save some donuts for the premium character😁

  10. Thanks for all the work you do! I’m a bit behind, so I might use donuts at the end, but not too concerned. Dialogue has been fun. Event otherwise, not anything spectacular, but nothing out of the ordinary. Not to get into all the complaints about the events over the last couple years, but my one desire would be to have more than just 8-10 characters be involved in each event. I know not everybody has over 300 characters, but if you’ve played long enough, you definitely have more than 10 – so why not have ALL of springfield involved?!
With this being “Black History Month”, it’s a shame not ALL the black characters were a part of it. Also, the non-Black characters share the responsibility to work for progress – so again, MORE characters should be involved! Ok, going back to the grind. Thanks again!

    • I agree with there being more characters involved in the event since it was the same ones used to earn currency in acts 1-3 and likely 4 which makes it more difficult to earn everything before a new act begins.

Maybe act 1 could’ve had the doctors, nerds and intelligent characters earning currency, act 2 could’ve had the barflies and powerplant workers, act 3 could’ve had the police department and civil servants (Quimbys, judges and lawyers), and act 4 with all the oldies and the entire Simpson family including Maggie. All of these along with the premiums from this event would’ve been more diverse in different characters used in each act.

I also think that the prize characters (Clarissa, Opal, Abe Simpson I and Bully Boss) should help with the currency for entire event as well earning the same rate as regulars or 6/7 currency per prize character.

      • That might require EA to pay Bob for some OT and that ain’t happenin’. Why pay programmers for cohesive content prizes when you can just reheat some Days of Future Future left-overs? Get with the EA-zy!

  11. Maybe you should address the fact that some of us can’t finish Rita’s quests because we don’t have the fallen diva apartments

    • The Fallen Diva apartments were unlocked during the Christmas event, fairly early in the prize track. Were you not playing TSTO during Christmas?
