As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we sometimes find ourselves forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU.

This time around I wanted to see what you’ve done with the Black History stuff!I know some of the items from this event felt a bit disjointed, so I wanted t see how you fit them into your Springfield!
It can always be a little intimidating and frustrating trying to figure out just where to put anything in Springfield…so who better to turn to than our fellow Addicts? And as always, some of you guys came through!

Just got the word that my sons school is closed indefinitely effective immediately. They will be doing work on line and from home.
Be safe everyone, and remember that mamy people who get the coronavirus only show signs of common cold, or mild sniffles. But those people can pass it on to people who have compromised immune systems and the impact on them can be very serious.
So stay home if you feel the slightest bit ill.

If it was a themepark ride I would have puked…
Everyone should stay home if you can, even if you don’t show any signs of illness. That’s because you can be infected and have no symptoms, but be shedding the virus and infecting everyone you come in contact with. The only way to prevent overwhelming our hospitals is to prevent spreading the disease. Please. Stay. Home.
It’s just not possible for millions of people. And closing the schools and daycare makes things harder on healthcare workers, lab test employees, those working in the research area, and countless other areas…
Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.
Yes this will be a major inconvenience for all, but let’s not take this lightly.
Except if you’re someone that works in the healthcare field, actively trying to combat this…you can’t do your job and contribute if you have children that need to be watched. Obviously, it’s different if they’re teenagers and can watch themselves. But I have plenty of friends and family who are nurses, doctors, scientists, etc who have little children at home. If their kids aren’t in school or daycare they can’t go to work because they don’t have an alternative.
Of course, if you can keep your kids at home, keep them at home. Keep them away from their grandparents, which you should be doing this time of year anyway. Kids are freakin Petri dishes! Wash your hands, wash your kids hands. It’s the first thing we do when we walk in the door…every day. Stay safe, but let’s not go crazy. It’s not the bubonic plague.
