Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Your senses can evoke powerful memories in you. The smell of saltwater can trigger you back to your youth spent at the beach, the touch of cotton can bring you back to memories of your mom, and hearing sounds of TSTO can bring back countless hours spent tap, tap, tapping away.
So let’s take a trip down memory lane via the sound effects of TSTO…
So, we last left our TSTO trip down memory lane off with the 2013 introduction of Squidport! So we’ll pick things back up with the summer of 2013…
Things were busy during the 2013 summer of TSTO. After Squidport we saw the arrival of the very first 4th of July update (and good ole Honest Abe making his way into our games..), followed by the summer blockbuster arrival of McBain (Level 31), and McBain was followed up by the tamer Rod and Todd Flanders (Level 32)…

While Abe is voiced…sorta…it’s mostly just grunts and other nosies. I’ve just included a couple here. (they pretty much repeat)

1st – called it over the weekend! the Day after St. Patrick’s and the Load Screen still hasn’t changed 😂 (to be fair , with everywhere under quarantine for a month? I don’t see any new Content appearing for quite some time!)

How time flies, from Characters with choice dialogue (McBain never fails to make me lol!), to the 1st time I felt EA got kinda L-EA-Z-Y (we only get Todd Flanders voiced, not Rod Flanders!), to favourite Buildings (Nighthawk Diner, Calmwood Mental Hospital!), to one of my favourite expansions (Squidport Pier!) that was also EA’s 1st example of bailing on a new concept (Squidport Pier!)

It’s part of the Sounds of TSTO series. So posting them in sequential order when I can. Of course the downtime right now helps lol
EA = Extremely Apathetic
Are they doing nothing for St. Patty’s Day?? It’s already 12:41 EAstern Time. Maybe their staff are home because of the Pandemic. Or maybe Bob is hanging out in the break room all day. *sigh*
I did crack a joke about the fact we’ll see this same Load Screen for quite some time …. and the quarantine everywhere isn’t going to help towards having a dedicated EA TSTO Team come up with new Content (but that won’t stop me from going thru the Mystery Box)😀
