It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

We’re nearing the end of the No Bucks Given mini-event. Thoughts on the event overall? Have you finished it? Which prize is your favorite?
Another day of social distancing. How’s it working out for you? Going stir crazy yet? Today Riley and I are going to tackle Day 2 of the LEGO Challenge and build a rocket ship! I’ll post a photo of our finished product once we’re done. 🙂

Tried visiting again today. I am still unable to help about 1/2 the neighbors I click on. This has been going on for a while now. Is anyone else experiencing this glitch?
I just read an article here about the mystery box being free once a week. Did they stop that? Because I’ve never gotten a free box & I play twice a day minimum.
Yea several years ago. Daily challenges changed it.
The jet engine bike is the best buy in the vault to bring your percentage up & it shows up quite often. However as others have said the most efficient way to up your percentage is to use the mystery box but you have to save up those donuts as best you can.
It’s a slow process but you will get there.
A year ago, like you I had around 500%, now I’m on 2,800%

So each of the last two nights I plug my phone in to charge it an turn it off. Each morning when I’ve opened the game, I’ve gotten the “Springfield hasn’t saved on other device” followed by the age question and “Requires a 999MB download to play.” Anyone else get this recently? Any idea what’s going on?
I got that “Didn’t save on another device” last week. I had this happen last Summer and the tech from EA said to go to the other device and close it out. Told her I didn’t have another device. She didn’t have a clue what to do. That’s when I lost all my Flanders Family Reunion prizes and characters.
The age thing from what I an understanding is if you leave yourself logged in all the time.. the game will log you out and ask you to verify and log back in.
But as for the other device thing.. it’s baffling if you only play the game on one device.

Hey all. What are some good ways to increase my conform-o-meter percentage? I am at about 400% but see some people with upwards of 3-5000%. How do you get it so high? Thanks in advance
There are buildings in the Springfield Heights that give a percentage bonus . That you get for free when you do the crafting .
Another way is to buy things from the vault these are at a lower price .
If you go in and look at the police vehicles and other items in the corner is a blue circle if you tap on it
that will tell you the percentage that you earn .
Sometimes we have buildings will give you a percentage .
Try to buy at least one thing from the vault every week .

Everyone in my friends list had disappeared in my game they were there yesterday and now I have no friends on the list I tried to logout and log back in and still no friends how do I get them back
They will return soon, this happens frequently to many players

Is there a max value for Krustyland tickets?
I seem to be getting a discount on crops at Cletus farm. It’s either happened recently or I’ve only just recently noticed it 🙂
For example, I’m currently growing GMO Potatoes. It sez 4 hours on the tin, but mine will be ready in 3 hours 10 minutes total.
Anyone else seeing this?
Seems like Witch Marge is on her “grow crop faster” job.
I send Marge on this task frequently and never noticed the crops growing faster, though I usually grow the 24 hour one’s.
Yeah – that could be it.
Never used to use the witch costume for Marge so didn’t know it was a thing.
But switched her into it after the last event, so the timing correlates.

Is anyone else getting this glitch after the last daily challenge where all the characters just go back into Krusty Burger, after you tap, and never complete the task?
It’s nothing new. Just store the building to free them up.

I was just talking with an old friend who is a nurse. After talking with her, I went down to my tool set and found about half a dozen of N95 masks, still unused, that I had bought for projects like sanding.
Anyway, I will be sending them to her as they are desperately needed. They will see if they can be sterilized and make use of them. They just didn’t want used ones.
So, if you have any of these lying around see if you can put them to good use.
Batelle in Ohio developed a device that can sanitize the N95 masks. A mask can be resanitized 20 times. Make sure your friend is aware. The device should be approved today by the FDA and start shipping tomorrow. It will be a while before the device is mass produced.

Hope all are safe with their family (spouse, pets). I definitely got all of the “honey do’s” completed around the Condo …. so now the Mrs is happy with that (the rest is a waiting game you have to accept).
Yeah no New Episode tonight, but there is still plenty of other content to binge watch … we do ride our cruisers thru the neighborhood when the weather is right (hope none of you got caught up with those 🌪️ in Arkansas and Tennessee).
Been done with this Mini Event, just 🍩 farming and rearranging my Springfield (enjoyed the Event overall, don’t have a favourite Prize as all of them were great – just get cranky at EA for the obvious lack of eliminating load screen noise, Bart Simpson Screen, etc).

Here inOntario we are basically isolated. One adult if need be out for groceries. Best advice …just stay home and this will pass sooner. My hubby does walk later in the day but if he meets someone, he crosses the road
to give plenty of separation.
I do not understand the thought in NY of NOT isolating.
We have pretty well cleaned out all of our cupboards and the shed. Trouble
is there is no place to put the stuff . So, I guess we just bag it and keep in beside the house until we can get it to the dump. I telephone friends and
stay in touch everyday. Please be careful and stay inside. You are you children’s playmates for now, ❤️ 🙏

Usually on that last round, or perhaps the one before it, I try to send my new premium character on their quest line.
It doesn’t help with the event itself, but it does help with getting “everything” done.
Another strategy is to spend a few donuts to accelerate the tasks. If you are needing 13 EC’s, then accelerate the premium at 8 and one regular at 5 to complete the round.
If you are new to the game, you may not have a lot of spare donuts to do this. I would suggest you look up some articles on donut farming to help with this.

I’m a recent addict, first time poster and there’s a math/strategy question that’s been bugging me for a couple of mini events and I haven’t found a post regarding it.
Let’s assume we have all premium characters for simplicity. For the last event we needed 200 event currency (EC) for the first prize and could have 48 EC per 4 hour, except that 1 character needed to be on another task for one round. That’s 43+48+48+48=187. Only 13 away from the prize. If we send all characters to the EC collecting task, when we tap on them, as they are all at the same location, the game reaches the prize milestone but does not cary over the EC to the second prize, losing 35 EC.
What are your best strategies to be as efficient as possible with mini events?
I tend to delay the sending of characters by 5-10 minutes apart and time myself well so I can get the 15 EC to claim the 1st prize and then get the other 35, hence “overlapping” the task tracks, but at 4 rounds of 4 hours per day the game is made so this often need to be done in the middle of the night where I tend to prefer sleeping!
Anyone have a better solution ?

If you’re close to unlocking a prize but don’t want to waste any extra event currency, you can store the primary building the characters go to (unless its the Simpsons House which can’t be stored) and send the needed amount of characters to the alternate secondary location then place the primary building and send the rest of the characters there. Don’t forget to collect from the secondary location first then once you unlock the prize, collect from the characters at the primary location.
Using the current event, the Isotope Stadium was the primary location and the Brown House was the alternate secondary location for where all the characters go to earn the event currency.

Some events have them but some can only have one default location like the Simpsons House, Brown House or Kwik-E-Mart. Sometimes someone posts on here about it which can be useful when maximising event currency earning characters.
After a long time neglecting my Springfield I’m in the early stages of organizing by lumping together sections like my zoo. Now I really want EA to re-release all things zoo-related because I want more of EVERYTHING. And why in heck are the pandas part of Baboon County USA?

Read the linked article. The team in question was one of the two teams listed in the article.
I think the Rangers won the Stanley Cup on their 2nd year of existence, so that is my guess.
The answer is the Seattle Metropolitans who won it in 1917.
