Update time in Springfield! We’re all getting antsy sitting at home, so it’s nice to have an update to focus on! What’s in store for us this time? Well, it’s time for Burns and Aristotle Amadopolis to have yet another clash of tapping proportions! Loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
The Simpsons Wrestling Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week (10 days) and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Act 1 we’re tasked with collecting feather boas! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the first part of the story, the birth of Golden Ring Wrestling and SEW. So let’s take a look at the details behind Act 1 and the Turbo Tappin’ Version for Enter the Golden Ring…

Why can I not play ?
Just me ?
I’ve been getting the same message since yesterday.
Afternoon/Morning/Evening all.
“EA Network unavailable” is not the message you want anytime, but here in Kent, England, it’s the message I’ve had all morning. This game is one of the reasons I am coping with all this madness, is it just me or are others having the same problems ?

We have another endless task loop glitch!
Sent everybody free on daily challenge of buying milk at Kwik-E-Mart about 4 hours ago.
At about 12:30am EST today (Tuesday April 14): Tapped the long string of thumbs and everybody scattered out of the original KEM. Then they all came back and re-entered the store. When quit and relaunched right away, there were the thumbs again. Lather, rinse, repeat.
As before, can’t see the crowd in the store and they don’t uncheck from the character pickup list in the upper left of the screen. And collecting them briefly does not clear the daily challenge task to get my measly one donut.
BUT a few had gone to the futuristic KEM to get milk, and they behaved normally. Tapped the short string of thumbs and they piled out and stayed out. Also the task was cleared and I got my donut.
‘Scuse me while I go make millions of dollars and a few donuts before they fix it again …
The glitch for people flocking to the Brown House (when the wrestling pavilion was not ready) and getting stuck in an endless but lucrative loop (resetting every quit/launch) was fixed a little after 1am EST Monday April 13, which would be start of the work day in Europe…
Now the people flocking to the pavilion finished their task as well. They were just completing the normal task on the normal timeline.
When I tapped on the thumbs above the brown house a couple of times before that (maybe within the previous 15 minutes or so), I saw a ghostly figure (one character with others behind him) popping out of the house after I tapped and then vanishing into the house again right away. Maybe they were working on it at that point, since I don’t remember seeing it yesterday afternoon.
Not sure if mentioned elsewhere. All but one of the characters go to dumpsters to collect boas. By placing enough dumpsters you can have each character go to its own dumpster and thus carry over boas between rounds.
I too didnt receive the golden coin or 12 donuts after finishing Part 2 so I reached out to EA and they said for some reason they wouldnt be able to give me the coin so they gave me 50 donuts instead. id kind of rather have the coin so I can get one of the premium characters but 50 is better than 12.
Game is glitchy, sent wrestlers to work and later notice they were not on any task. Now barts 8hr job is completed, but cant find bart. Both task bar and icon but when you tap is goes to an empty brown house.
I’m having a different problem that I didn’t see listed. And this is the second time this has happened. Somehow it fixed itself the first time.
In Part 2 of this event task, I sent all available characters to Flock to Springfield Elite Wrestling Event. It completed and I got the reward and credit.
Now, every time I log in the characters are still there. This is not necessarily a bad thing. It’s like donut farming. When I log in, I tap on all the thumbs and get the money and XP. Then tap on the Friends tab and wait for the screen to change, then tap on the Brown House tab to go back into the game and repeat the process. I have been this almost nonstop since last night and have gotten so many donuts. Basically I get the donuts for every three repeats.
As much as I like the free donuts, I need some of those characters to be free to send them on the daily task.
I already deleted the app, turned off and on my device and reinstalled it.
Any other suggestions?
me too. good opportunity to use the XP multiplier. loads of free doughnuts. as if I need more. but wont get past part 2 without bart finishing his task, which seems impossible as long as brown house is stuck. maybe have to remove it?
So far I’ve farmed over 400 donuts.
And I’m past the 2nd task. It’s just the characters are stuck in the completion phase.
I’ll know in 1.5 hours after I get all the boas if I’m still stuck in this task. Bart is stuck in the completed state for his task, but I cant get him to show done. so that might prevent me from completing part 2
Store the building they are in.
It’s even weirder. I get the string of thumbs on that Brown House, nobody emerges and they don’t get checked off the list in the upper left hand corner or shown in the list of occupants but I get all the XP and cash, and then maybe ten to fifteen minutes later I see another string of thumbs from that Brown House and the whole thing repeats again.
This is the behavior if the game is open. But if I quit and relaunch, the string of thumbs occurs instantly.
Didn’t try storing the house yet because this is kind of fun…
My Bart had already completed his task for Part 2 and is happily digging through trash for feather boas for four hours along with the rest of the event gang. So it hasn’t affected my ability to get through the event so far. Will see what happens when I hit Part 3 in a few hours.
I have some characters not involved in the glitch, about a dozen can be sent to flock normally but they go to the wrestling pavilion (which wasn’t available when I first sent most of the town on the task). I just use the Job Manager at the Unemployment office to send everybody not in the glitchy Brown House on 12 hour tasks for convenience.
The glitch may be connected directly with sending people to flock when the wrestling pavilion wasn’t built yet, so they went to the Brown House instead and got stuck on an endless loop. I sent Wiccans to that house for a different task and they behaved normally when done.
But it’s a lucrative endless loop – loads of cash and six donuts for each attempted pickup for me.
They will probably fix it once they get back from the Easter holiday.

So like others I received the token but no donuts to go with it ?
Something is definitely up with pt. 2 of this event. I sent a whole load of Springfielders to flock to the event, but they all went to Brown Houses instead. Cant get past this act because of it.
Hmm seems EA aren’t giving players 12 donuts this time then if you have everything in the mystery box as my count didn’t go up after completing part 2.
I haven’t unlocked Smithers yet. Can I still do this Event?
It should trigger for you, as the only requirement is level 5. As far as the questline goes, it may bottleneck you, but i’m not 100% certain.
I have the same problem as Jay: Something is definitely up with pt. 2 of this event. I sent a whole load of Springfielders to flock to the event, but they all went to Brown Houses instead. Cant get past this act because of it. Resolution?
Another event to rush with Bonuts… 🙂 it is nice NOT to have so many useless tokens for once…
I’m in the position of getting a dozen doughnuts for the coin. Would rather be able to gift it to ppl who aren’t as far along. Maybe someone who’s closer to EA’s ear could propose that to them? Helping ppl would be a better end for me than doughnuts I’ll sit on…

I also didn’t get a token upon completion of Part 2. I don’t have a “Mystery Box” (since I apparently have everything in it). Typically, we receive 12 donuts in exchange for the token. However, I don’t see my token anywhere.
After completing the dialogue following completion of Part 2, I was simply brought to the store where I could buy regular store items at regular donut prices.
It would be nice if EA would add a new building or two to the “Mystery Box” for each event. That way — even those players who have everything would have something to buy.

IF Tappers who have everything from the Golden Wrestling Mystery Box aren’t getting 12 🍩’s in exchange for that Token – that’s wrong! (you can not defend that by EA! you have every right to complain, because you’re Tapping and not getting rewarded!) 🙄
Sorry if this is not the right place to ask, but did not see anything new in “Questions and Answers” or any of the “Help Me” items. Anybody else stuck on the splash screen, with the spinning donut today? Have restarted my device a few times (which usually helps in this scenario)–but still stuck. Should I uninstall and reinstall?

Yeah, have it too. As all other apps/games work its not a client issue – its a server issue. You can just wait until EA fixes it…
This morning I had to login with the EA account and after insisting a few times that I was still logged in on another device I finally got into the game. But all Springfielders were without jobs
How’s your internet connection? (Good? Bad?)
Did you clear the cache in your Game App via the Settings Menu in your device? (seems to solve it 99% of the time)
Are you using a device that’s low on RAM (I wouldn’t use anything with under 3GIG of RAM!)
You can inquire with EA – @EAHelp on Twitter (just know that EA isn’t going to improve it’s Networks for Game Apps – especially now under these circumstances)
Good internet connection; device is not low on RAM. I will try clearing cache.
Same here…that’s why I came here.. wondering if others are having problems getting into the game. I’m also getting the no wifi message but all my other apps are running fine. Hopefully EA will put out a bug fix for it.
Me too…can’t get into the game.
I put it on my tablet & was able to get in. What I find odd is everything else runs fine on my phone,,, not sure why this 1 app does this cr@p?!!?
That happened to me yesterday. Yes, uninstalling and reinstalling might work for you since it worked for me.
Uninstall/reinstall worked. If only I hadn’t lost a day of tapping. 🙁
It shouldn’t be difficult to catch up. I sent all my characters on the 12 hour tasks last night for part 1 including the ones earning currency so I didn’t start sending them today until after 1pm.
I’m not stuck on the splash screen, but every time I open the app since the update, it needs to re-download everything again, & it logs me out also. I’ve tried uninstalling & reinstalling the app but it keeps doing it. anyone else having the sameissue?
That’s usually a sign your device is low on ROM (Memory)🤔
If you’ve got at least 5Gig of free space? You’re safe. If not? Time to free up space (or expand the Memory via a micro SD card). 👍🏻
thanks for the info! I tried deleting a bunch of videos so hopefully it works from now on.
Be sure to use free cloud storage on pictures and videos (you will save space on your device and you can sync your device with a computer to share the same Content)😀👍🏻

I got logged out and cant sign back in. Its like my password is incorrect. I even tried resetting it and it still wont let me in. I wonder if anyone elseis having this issue.
Reinstall of the game helped me. Could not get to the game for 12 hours.
If you don’t have the Mystery Box, when you get the Token, you DO NOT get 12 donuts like past event. The Token is gone and no where’s to be found.

Earned the token already but had nothing to buy with it. Didn’t notice if my donut total went up.

I’m almost done, yes I’m guilty of expediting thru it via 🍩’s, but I’m reading the Character dialogue and ♥️’ing it! (due to work out in the field, it’s better to expedite vs fight over the Bart Screen) – oh yeah, ♥️ the Premium Character Building Combo ! Will be farming 🍩’s and checking out the other Content up for grabs (ie anything for sprinkles of interest!)
