Lockdown…..
We went out March 2 and bought
We went out March 20 and restocked
We went out April 14 and bought some milk, veggies and cat food and went to adjacent hardware store bought some paint, soil and 10’ of copper pipe to make a wind chime
I can’t see 18 months — too long, the world economy will collapse.
I don’t see May 1 — too soon.
Perhaps, PERHAPS, June 1. More likely July 1. And even then, large crowds/ gatherings won’t happen.
This, IMHO is Russian Roulette with a Wheel of Fortune.

No one. And I mean NO ONE knows what the f they’re doing and it’s getting ridiculous.

The only thing they’ve successfully done is scared the hell out of people and it’s getting utterly ridiculous.
Our heart goes out to people who have no income.
I know, the Gas, Electric, Water, Garbage sectors can be undercut.
Grocery and other associated industries as well.
We as a society MUST have these industries continue. And I worry about those people.
As for me, I’m retired. I have a pension. I have investment income from dividends and interest.
I live in earthquake country, so I am always stocked up.
I live a quiet, calm life with a patio to sit in and lots and lots of home projects to keep me busy.
I am fine, Lisa and I are fine.
It is others who are not and I worry about them. As for the two of us….
This is an obnoxious blip in our lives…
But then again, a dozen years ago, I wasn’t certain if I’d even be here to endure this blip. I may not survive this pandemic, but, I will do all I can NOT to be infected so I can continue my calm, quiet life.

Whenever there’s a main event going on (like Wrestling), I also have the event icon on the sidebar. Clicking that will take you right to the event page. If you’re on mobile it’ll be at the the very bottom of the site. Just look for the event icon 🙂
Having no luck connecting today. Tried all devices and even cellular vs my home wifi. Anyone else having that issue?
I’ve not been able to get in from the UK since this morning.
Finished event on Sunday, now have to wait till Friday for act 2, 😠
For anyone with Disney+ Maggie’s new short “Playdate with Destiny” is now available. I haven’t watched it yet, but I’m guessing it’s cute.
Did anyone figure out what has happened to the neighbours in TSTO? There seem to have been so many problems recently (I started a new springfield and had to do all the neighbour stuff from scratch). So things that seem messed up:
1. Neighbours just dissappear altogether
2. It’s not possible to invite a neighbour in game
3. It IS possible in game but they NEVER have anything to tap on
4. You can invite either way around and nothing ever appears to tap on
5. You can invite via your EA profile and the same bugs as above
It has improved a bit recently – I actually invited some neighbours and can tap on them and some have invited me that I can tap on. But half my neighbours never have anything to tap on (even the ones that are also me and I know they do!). And still from time to time all the neighbours dissappear completely.
From some comments I saw I know it’s not just me but is there info anywhere on what’s happened here?
No, same here. Sometime it works like a charm and next session all the neighbours are gone, untapable. As you described.
EA still has problems with Origin Accounts (and that probably never will go away, even though this effects every game platform managed by EA).
You can visit the free Neighboreeno EA gives you, then go back into the Neighboreeno Menu and that usually triggers them to return. As for Adding Neighboreenos? that’s a gamble (are you a gambler?) 😉👉🏻
But for the past few years.. Neighbours have been a moot point. Back in the day during events, you could collect items or currency from your neighbours. Now.. it’s just going in and tapping three buildings and you’re done. Nothing to gain for the event or your own Springfield. Have you also noticed that the Daily Challenge to go and tap on a Neighbour is also gone? Also at the start of a new Event, a quest to visit your neighbour is also gone?
I have the same issue with not being able to tap on anything from them.. so I just don’t bother. I don’t bother getting new neighbours because there really isn’t any point.. other that to see how they set up their Springfield.
There is no gain by having neighbours.
Not quite true – in a brand new springfield there are a load of things like the elephant I got yesteday that come from visiting neighbours. After you collected them all I think you are correct though 🙂
I don’t remember getting characters from visiting neighbours. … but then again, I have been playing this game for so long that it’s all a blur now. LOL.
I’m just waiting to get my Flanders Family Reunion characters and decorations back.. Lost them during the event when the server wasn’t actually saving my game.. and reverted me back to the end of June 2019
So … I will just sit and wait. I have a few others that I wish they would put into the mystery boxes.. many NPC that i need to finish the collections.

Ok so “The Fat Blue Line” was a repeat Episode tonight ….. but it’s loaded with Content perfect for a Mini Event (that San Castellanta Street Festival with it’s decrepit rides, old ride operators, Homer stuck in a Punch & Judy, Chief Wiggum trying to locate the actual Pickpocket!) and that made it a fun re-watch! 😀👍🏻

I’m wondering how many of my fellow tappers are in solitary confinement besides me? I haven’t been around another human being for five weeks now. By the looks of it, it could be 18 months or more of this. Thank goodness for Netflix, FaceTime, and TSTO!

18 Months? Did they move you to Elbe Island??? I really don’t think that anyone is going to be locked down that long…But, maybe it’s a personal choice?
Patric, a leaked Pentagon Document to the Guardian said 18 months… or at least until there’s a vaccine. I’m keeping busy, but I’m going to go through swimming withdrawals this summer. Our golf courses are closed as well. Are yours? At least I can take out my rowboat. And I’m going to give piano lessons via skye a try. I miss them.
Americans will riot in the streets if this goes into the summer, at 18 months it’ll be like hunger games.

Which Guardian?
I went back to work monitoring the TMobile Network Towers (after 3 weeks off paid), I’m not in direct contact with humans (unless I need to run into a store for something that wasn’t ordered for pick-up / delivery), but a vacant Las Vegas makes me sad 😢 (especially for those out of work!) ….

I.
I believe 18 months will be time estimated to –
prep a vaccine and continue keeping a vaccine available
how long it may take for the economy to be back to where it was.
II.
I believe June will be the turning point (or May if enough people understand the importance of social distancing).
I believe July / August will see 90% back at work (but following restrictive guidelines) with 10% hunting for jobs still.
III.
I don’t want to see this self quarantine last beyond July / August or things will turn into The Purge! (the Population won’t think about voting in the elections! the population will riot like we’ve never seen!)
Well if it’s 18 months then you will be on your own !!! Several countries already planning to lift restrictions in the next couple weeks.
Sure this virus is going to be around for a few months yet but economic factors will dictate an end to lockdowns.
A former work colleague’s wife died over the weekend, and a friend of mine is on day 14 and miserably sick with this virus. At one point, her blood oxygen went down to 70. She’s having trouble breathing, and is on a nebulizer. She refuses to go to the hospital. This is a nasty, nasty disease. I’m not leaving my house until there is a cure or until it goes away. I may be housebound for months or even years but I’ve seen how serious this disease is. This certainly isn’t how I planned to spend my retirement.

A funny little thing happened the other day I was doing some donut farming with blood mobiles .
A while back I acquired a second Monsarno Research building. It popped out of storage and I was able to place it in my town now I have two .
The story gets a little better.
I was doing some more farming and acquired two more IRS buildings .
Both IRS buildings were at level 1 and my main one had disappeared .
I’ll come back a little later on to play the game and Bam I had three IRS buildings in storage.
The story that you have just read is true the names were changed to protect the innocent .

Started this latest event almost a day late & already done with week1 without rushing.
I appreciate an EAsy event but sometimes stuff is a little too easy & robs you of the feeling of accomplishment.
A Little Too Easy was my name when I worked with the Chippendale dancers back in the 80s .

I think Bobera must have Easter weekend off, I’m on day two of just the endless spinning donut. Just as I was working on what may be my favorite prize of the update- Tofu Bell. My husband saw a video online of how to make Taco Bell’s crunch wraps at home so that’s what we had for dinner last night. They turned out really good. Im lucky to be quarantined with a good cook.
My token yielded the best prize of the three in my mystery box. I got Pyro. I bought Mexican Duff and have been very amused with his questline, especially the visual dance off between him and Duffman. Disapproving squirrel was there picketing with Selma looking on enjoying a cigarette. Too bad I couldn’t get a screen shot before D Squirrel moved on. There will definitely be a lot more colorful characters roaming Springfield by the time this update is finished.
Happy Isolation Easter everyone. Hopefully I can get in my Springfield soon to put up a display for my Neighboreeno’s before it’s over.
Happy Easter. I had that happen to me at the start of the event. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it worked for me.
Don’t hesitate when under isolate to rush thru with 🍩’s (especially if you’re having Network issues in Game App!), you can Farm back those 🍩’s before Act 2 starts (if you do a few at a time so that you don’t trigger the Bart Screen!)
@EAHelp on Twitter is 90% directed at EA regarding global Network issues for every Game format (console, PC, mobile), you can voice your issues there (just know you’re not alone regarding connection problems!) but most important? (Be Safe, don’t let this Game App ruin your time with Family!) ☺️👍🏻
