Update time in Springfield! We’re all getting antsy sitting at home, so it’s nice to have an update to focus on! What’s in store for us this time? Well, it’s time for Burns and Aristotle Amadopolis to have yet another clash of tapping proportions! Loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
The Simpsons Wrestling Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week (10 days) and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Act 1 we’re tasked with collecting boas! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the first part of the story.
So let’s take a look at prizes 1, 3 and 4 on the Wrestling Prize track…Springfield Wrestling Pavilion, Tofu Bell, and Wrestlers Dressing Room…
First up, the Springfield Wrestling Pavilion

Usually if you already have any prizes in the mystery token box, you can exchange the token for a dozen donuts. In act 1, and now Act 2, nothing like this happened. It just directed me to purchase the few items I don’t already have, that aren’t in the token box. And it seems the token is gone, no prize, nothing to exchange for. Is this right?

Springfield Wrestling Pavilion is a nice looking building that can fit in the Springfield Heights or fancy parts of Springfield. The animation is ok and I like that the clams/shells lights on the building also light up. I don’t mind that Lisa has a task there (at least its a different time to 4 hours) but I hope one of the wrestlers in this event also gets a permanent task at the pavilion as well.

Tofu Bell is a great building since there is never too many restaurants to have in Springfield, I put it in a little fast food boulevard with a couple of other restaurants. The animation isn’t bad since I like seeing the silhouettes in buildings, maybe the sign could spin or light up as well. Lisa only has a couple of 2 hour tasks so its nice that she got another one, the characters that go to restaurants can also use Tofu Bell which is great.

The Wrestlers Dressing Room is an ok decoration but not the best prize of act 1 (the worst is probably the token if you don’t have the mystery box since you can’t exchange it for donuts). Not sure what to do with it since it was a room inside the Springfield Wrestling Pavilion. At least it has an animation which is a toggle one that is better than the animation lasting a few seconds. It would be great if there were tasks there since it doesn’t do much.

Anyone else having major problems getting in? All day yesterday (monday) and today, all I get is Bart screen over and over.
Sorry, I think it’s my fault. I used an xp generator to get to level 25 so I could get Smithers for the current quest. Of course, that’s pretty much a wasted xp gen. 🙂

Hey Neighbor! It’s a glitch. Last I checked you’re still in my friend’s list. I can’t look now because I’ve been getting the Bart Screen all day.
Has anyone else had problems logging in? I’ve been getting the Bart screen for two days now (monday and tuesday), and not been able to get in at all.
Spinning donut all day Sat and Sun. Bart Screen today. I just started working on the dressing room, need to check the calendar, may have to rush things with donuts.

They’re selective…I can tell by the comments they’re impacting some but not many. (i’m ok at the moment)
I shrugged off the fact EA is having Network issues (I’m just glad to get home from work without being infected by anyone daily) – but their Twitter feed obviously let everybody know their Help Website, Origin Accounts, various Games (Mobile to Mac book) have problems (globally) …. and this Covid-19 situation is going to present all sorts of technical issues.
At least Tappers have 2 Days to finish Act 1 (or keep going with Act 2 simultaneously). 🤓

Started this event on my A game and finished it about two days ago, my B game just finished today. In the (A) 939+ game I have more donuts than I can buy (new) items. In my level 32 game I have to carefully plan.
Guess which one gives more satisfaction.
First token was a bit disappointing for my B game as I got Pyro ( I want bulding AND character!) but on my A game there was nothing to obtain.
Logging in has been okay but I guess there are plenty of people who have been locked out unfrotunately. With the pace it is at right now I guess we should be able to collect all items up for grabs. No worries….
Tofu Bell is my fav as this was.
Story is “so far, so good”. I can keep his up till May 13th.
On my iPad I can’t connect, but on my iPhone I can play…, I even rebooted my iPad and I always get the bart can’t connect screen…
My android tablet and phone both are working fine, but my Fire will not connect at all.
I never know how to use the two-walled open room decorations like Wrestlers Dressing Room. Anybody have any good ideas they’ve used in their Springfield?

I have mine lined up behind Krustylu studios like open stages…with all the other like themed buildings. That’s the only thing that makes sense to me!
My Krustylu studios is seriously maxxed out of space without a lot of redesign, I’m probably going to put the dressing room behind the wrestling center building for now.
I’ll be unlocking Captain Flag this evening. So far it’s been an easy event. Started a day late and have been only logging in 3 times a day at most. Dialogue has been amusing so far.

When I got the mystery box token , it didn’t give me the option to convert it to donuts like in previous events. Did they get rid of that option or is there some where I can go to convert it?
This is the new Gripe for thee Event (Token = gets you 1 Item from Gold Wrestling Mystery Box OR Token disappears and you get nada! What a waste of Grinding right?) 😒
Yeah, even the 12 donuts wasn’t worth it, but it least it beat nothing.
If you spent the sprinkles on the Act 1 Premium Character Building Combo, it was satisfying (so was finally getting Mexican Duffman!) 😀👍🏻
Yeah, I don’t see this Token = Nada going over well (EA is having it handed to them on the TSTO Facebook page). Overall? I’m enjoying what I can with this Event, just glad I get home from work safe each Day. 😉

As of yet no one seems to know why we are not being offered the donuts.
Looks like unless EA put in a patch, we will have this issue for the remainder of the event.

Springfield Wrestling Pavilion (New Building) it’s vital to this Event and the fact Lisa has an Hour Task here is different (haven’t had a new 1 Hour Task for a Character in a l-o-o-o-o-n-g time!) nice animation! 👍🏻
Token (Gold Wrestling Mystery Box / Nothing) I’m calling it! While I appreciate the free Sportacus Building obtained, if henceforth you get nada – why continue to have this as an Act Prize? (that’s a legit Gripe!) 👎🏻
Tofu Bell (New Building) – my favourite Prize so far (the fact Lisa has a 2 Hour Task here that is funny, that’s double rewarding!) ❤️ the animation! 👌🏻
Wrestlers Dressing Room (Decor) – just honestly call it what it is, ‘Dumb Decor that gets Stored!’ (at least one Prize in an Act that’s lame is a given during these Multi Act Events!) 👎🏻

Act 1 started out strong (even the Premium Combo is good). My concern with these l-o-o-o-o-n-g Events is when each Act begins to suck due to lame Act Prizes (ie loaded with Dumb Decor!) and you start to lose interest in the Event (the stuff in this Event comes from some great Episodes, don’t let me down EA!) 🤔
