Update time in Springfield! We’re all getting antsy sitting at home, so it’s nice to have an update to focus on! What’s in store for us this time? Well, it’s time for Burns and Aristotle Amadopolis to have yet another clash of tapping proportions! Loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
The Simpsons Wrestling Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week (10 days) and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Act 1 we’re tasked with collecting boas! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the first part of the story.
So let’s take a look at prize 5…Captain Flag!

I got Captain Flag on Monday and finished his questline this morning. He is a decent character with a fun questline (Burns giving him orders in the main questline and CF’s reaction made me laugh) and good visual tasks (the suplex one is the best). I’m guessing all the characters in this event are going to have their 1 and 4 hour tasks visual since Captain Flag and Professor Werner von Brawn has their 2 shortest task lengths as visual tasks. I’m glad that he doesn’t have Brown House tasks (unless you’re below level 15 and don’t have Moe’s or the Town Hall) but I wish he had one permanent task at the Springfield Wrestling Pavilion (he had a task here for his quest), Tofu Bell or the Wrestlers Dressing Room. Maybe in the future Half-Mast will be a character in a sequel wrestling update along with other wrestlers that didn’t make it in this event. 🇺🇸 🤼 🧵

Captain Flag – what a great Easter Egg from the “Gorgeous Grampa” Episode, his Visual Tasks are funny (❤️ making him Suplex Everyone – and the Character dialogue is spot on). I guess the ONLY 👎🏻 with these new Characters? they’re not voiced (that’s just one small 👎🏻 because you still get a lotta 👍🏻 with ’em!)
All we need is a Wrestling Ring for Glamorous Godfrey Grandpa with Beautiful Bart Simpson (I’ll even take a Character Skin for Bart for this) Tag Teaming against Captain Flag with Half-Mast (his Midget Wrestler side-kick!) 😀

It’s still available on Amazon. If it’s an older device it’s likely no longer supported, and they won’t revert to support it again.
I’ve always had a theory, but this one proved to me that the number of each currency that you need for each part varies due to how you’re progressing. I couldn’t get into the game for 2 periods of almost 24 hours and one of about 13 hours, and I whizzed through finishing yesterday or the day before. I think the limits are dynamic. For the 2nd stage I only needed 100 boas and maybe 125/150 for the 3rd stage. Did other players have higher totals needed?
It is the same for everyone no matter the level or how far you’re in the game. It goes a little faster if you have bought Professor Werner von Brawn since he’s an extra character and earns a little more than a regular character. It took me over a day to earn prizes 1 & 3 (the two buildings) but the rest of them I earned quicker than I thought and I don’t even have the professor.
According to the calendar here, act 1 is the easiest act out of the four whereas act 4 is the hardest in terms of currency totals (unless EA changes them during the event which they have done in the past).
Harder and Easier are relative. If you buy the premium items (and if you are donut farming, who wouldn’t) they are of relative ease, as the premiums earn more. But…yes…it is all mindless repetitive action at this point.
Yeah, I could’ve worded it better. Maybe I should’ve said something like act 1 has the lowest currency requirements ranging from 100-175 per prize out of the four acts whereas act 4 has the highest currency requirements ranging from 100-250 per prize. I guess its easy or hard if you don’t have all the characters earning currency so its easy with 8/9 characters but not so easy with 4 or less characters earning currency.

I’m in the UK too. It’s been awful for about a week, but mine’s actually been OK for the last 24 hours. I tried everything recommended including reinstalling twice. Not sure why it’s been better today
