Round 2 of Simpsons Wrestling is upon us!
As we’ve send previously, the Simpsons Wrestling Event follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting just over a week (10 days) and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Act 2 we’re tasked with collecting folding chairs! Each part of the story will unlock another prize themed for the second part of the story, Aristotle backstabbing Burns (no shocker there!). Quick question: Do any of y’all know whether the “Honest Abe” costume is associated with premium payout? If not, there doesn’t seem much of a point to getting it (beyond getting it)…
No. It’s a free prize on the prize track, so it Earns at the regular rate
Constructive Criticism
Where EA is learning (sort of) is those Act Prizes less likely to be appreciated require less Event Currency to be obtained (Characters and Buildings require more Event Currency than Decor, that’s fine with me).
What EA hasn’t fixed (or thinks ‘this isn’t a big deal’) is the Token value – works great to obtain Content from a Mystery Box (you’re rewarded with an Event Prize) – doesn’t feel worthwhile being rewarded 12 🍩’s (I learned to take ’em and turn on the Excelorater so I can earn 10 times that)
How EA is failing (and it may not be 100% their fault) with not maintaining a working Network (for all of their Games), managing Origin Accounts (so many continuous problems and no permanent solutions), and the impact (if you can’t play? you’re going to bail on the Game!), that either is a simple fix (hard restart, clear cache), or none.
There’s also real world problems (working? not working? financially ok? not financially ok? safe & free of disease? fighting the disease? home schooling kids? quarantine between you and family and fur kids?) that in the end are No. 1 priority.
So, as much as I hate to see Tappers give up and bail (because for various reasons you can’t Login), I’d rather Tappers stay alive / be financially secure \ have access to their real needs – food toilet paper masks gloves anti bacterial anti viral soap.

It’s alright Bean! You – an everyone else – who’s finding out when the Gold Wrestling Mystery Box isn’t available (or is gone once you’ve obtained everything in it) so that you can’t even exchange a Token for 12 🍩’s …. well it feels like you are cheated out of something (because you have been!). 🙄

I think I’m on day four of spinnng donuts on my primary game.
I’ve been loyal to this game since nearly the beginning but this is disappointing
I’ve believed in paying EA for their entertainment and yet there is no love for the users
Its different that the first prize requires the most amount of folding chairs of 225 while the 3rd, 4th and 5th prizes need 150 folding chairs each while the token is the least at 100. I forgot about Captain Flag’s task for part 1 so it has put me behind about 3 hours from unlocking the 1st prize.
I predict that there will be issues with part 4 and 5 of the questline with the “Make Springfielders” tasks getting stuck for some people like it did in act 1. If this does happen store the building the Springfielders are in and then place it again to free them, then send only 5 Springfielders on the tasks again (if its not completed), luckily its only an hour for both instead of 12.
Day 2 of spinning donut
All I have been getting for 2 days is the spinnig donut , I can’t even get on the game, so sick of the endless problems with such a simple game, maybe it’s time to call it a day with this game.
Haven’t been able to login now for 3 days. Keep getting “An error occurred processing the login“ message. Tried contacting EA Games tech support which goes no further when they ask for my Mayhem ID. ID can only be found by logging into my game. Duh!!
Tried deleting app and reinstalling, and rebooting iPhone with no luck. HELP!!
I still can’t get into my game. Eternally spinning donut. Bummed out.
Hopefully they have fixed the Token not giving out Donuts…

I guess not getting anything for the Token continues. if you have everything they are offering in the mystery box.. your Token just vanishes.. no donuts like the past events.

Doesn’t feel right to send Characters on Tasks to obtain Event Currency and get nada (this legit Gripe is blowing up on TSTO Facebook and Twitter!)
Yes, I know this issue & indeed any issues are pretty trivial at this present time but non the less it should have been sorted by now. Notice it’s not even been mentioned by the guys who run this site, maybe they still have stuff in the mystery box ?
Although the Token = Nada has been mentioned since Act 1, it’s sort of been accepted as the norm, unless EA Bob (or Barbara) corrects this.
The format of a Token getting you anything from a Mystery Box is appreciated, 12 🍩’s was just ‘meh’ , but getting nothing feels ‘wrong’ (I do agree, we’re fortunate to have an Event at all under the current situation).
Alissa might mention it when she does the breakdown on the mystery box or in her musings post about the event so far. At least the donuts were something even if they were not much but it feels like one less prize in each act and something is better than nothing.
I am sure she will (it is effecting everybody’s game play). I am so far 75% happy with this Event (minimal criticisms). Sure, I’d ❤️ the new Characters to be voiced (that’s always a wish), I’d ❤️ for them to have an animated Character Task together in a Wrestling Ring (like we have available for some Stages in this Game App), but the new Buildings are all awesome (along with the new Characters), an I even got a kick out of Grandpa Simpson’s latest Character Skin. 😉

No it’s unfortunately the case …. I got the Sportacus Building with a Token in Act 1 and this was the only Prize in the Gold Wrestling Mystery Box for me (once I traded in the Token for it? the Gold Wrestling Mystery Box was gone from my Game App).
During Act 2, as soon as I got the Token? it brought up the Store, but no means of exchanging the Token for 12 🍩’s (an error on EA Bob / Bab’s part? that, or a new format that leaves you feeling cheated – at least I’m enjoying the 1st and 5th Prizes in Act 2 , along with the new Premium Character Building Combo).

Anyone else have a glitch with the Buy Milk task? I sent every character not getting folding chairs to Buy Milk. It was a 60 minute task and charaters went to KEM’s, including the ‘New fangled’ KEM. Now characters are stuck there and others are done but when I go back into the game they have restarted the task?

A known and continuous glitch (you Store the Kwik-E-Mart the Characters are Tasking at and it will solve the glitch ….. then return the Kwik-E-Mart to your Springfield).
I know, you’d think EA would correct this, but then again EA has a l-o-o-o-o-n-g list of glitches in Game App (many we still exploit), during a time now when EA Staff is probably furloughed.

just a few days ago… i was able to buy 12 donuts with the tokens from act 1 and 2… i guess EA fixed the issue…?
Yes per Alissa EA Bob / Babs corrected the Token glitch (I took my free 12 🍩’s and turned on the Excelorater) 😁👍🏻
