Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
It’s officially 10am here on the East Coast, and that means Act 3 of the Simpsons Wrestling is live in Springfield!
Things kick off for Act 3 with some dialogue between Homer and Burns…
Homer: Just give that double A-hole the deed to the power plant so those SEW wrestlers will leave!
Burns: Handing over the plant would be like killing one of my own children. Don’t look that up.
This triggers the Act 3 questline, Of Hosses and Hookers, and is followed by 4hr tasks for 5 Springfielders and Burns, as well as a task to collect Act 3 Currency (200). Of Hosses and Hookers is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of the Act 3 prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 3…
Here’s EA’s synopsis for Act 3:
Burns refuses to sign over the power plant, which causes the city to turn against him. The few remaining Golden Ring Wrestlers sticking with Burns are reduced to backyard bouts and ViewTube videos. Bart tries to get his wrestling hero – Dr. Bonebreak – to come out of retirement to save Springfield, but Doc has become a Buddhist and refuses to help. Bart is beaten up by the Springfield bullies who are all SEW followers. Seeing this, Dr. Bonebreak vows to return to his violent ways and help save Springfield.
As I stated above, you’ll basically go right into the Of Hosses and Hookers questline, which is what the Act 3 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 3 prizes.

Hi any help please had daily task send characters to crusty burger I sent all available now when trying to collect it just makes them go back into crusty burger I have tried uninstalling and then re installing to no avail is it because it’s about 200 characters I sent there?

Are we ever going to get Cecil’s final prize in his Road to Riches? I feel like we have been waiting forever!!!! Also, I missed the quest for Black History month and some characters. I feel as though, EA should make those characters available, and people just need to buy them in order to get them.

Probably not ….. it’s one of those things EA started and bailed on (on par with that large vacant space adjacent to Springfield Heights EA still won’t open up as more Land). 🙄
Act 3 is going to be rushed with Donuts… only the Token tasks i won’t speed up, it’s a waste of donuts…

While the dialogue is funny (yay Writers!), unless you want to be underwhelmed by poor Event Prizes? (Dr. Bonebreak is the only Prize worth the Grind!) do yourselves a favour and get the Gil Deal, so you will have 2 Wrestlers + an Equivalent to a Building (that’s better than only 1 Wrestler + a whole lotta crap Prizes!) even if you get something with that Token from the Gold Wrestling Mystery Box? get the Gil Deal (you’ll make Gil happy!)😀🍻

Honestly a bit disappointed that Gil deals now seem to all be the standard premium character of the week/phase instead of the special “ZOMG THAT’S SO COOL BUT EXPENSIVE!!” stuff it used to be… No more Devil or God bundles, no more young Marge burning her bra outside the roller rink, no more expensive Sarah Wiggum dates to the aquarium…
Same as last event, they just took the regular new-round premium character, and labeled it a “Gil Deal”. Even though I have plenty of donuts, I’m passing on this one. I really dislike the open-room style of building, and the whole wrestler theme does not interest me. Also, you can easily complete these events without any premium characters.
Although Gil deals gave become a little boring lately (150 donuts for a character/building combo), I guess his antics (pleading us to buy) are better than EA just offering the item in store.
I miss seeing the messages that appears when a new premium item was added to the store.
I am having fun with the Gil Deal ….. and let’s be honest. Without the Gil Deal? (aka this Act’s Premium Character Combo) Act 3 is 1 Character worth the Grind + a whole lotta crap Prizes not worth the time!

Not sure if it’s just me but it seems the Premium Characters are not counting in the tasks for the event. only the regular ones are counting so I only get 40 and not 64
Their tasks are at the Tap Ball stadium entrance if you have it, and at Duff Stadium if not. At least, that’s what’s happening in my Springfields.
I cleared cache and it corrected itself.. the count was actually there but not showing on the screen. So all is good and working well.

If you have all 3 Premium Characters ….. that’s 8 Event Currency each (vs 5) per 4 hours (unless you expedite with 🍩’s, then it’s in seconds). This does help, but at the same time it’s more Wrestlers to ruuuuuumble thru some funny Event Tasks of their own. 😀🍻
I will say that I was disappointed with this week’s act. I definitely feel that AE phoned in the prizes and Gil. This week you will get a facade, two decorations and a character. Comparing that to the first week, it went downhill. Also Gil’s offer is the weekly 150 donut character and building. Gil typically offers something that is more than 150 donuts. It was a way for AE to use Gil but keep the same pattern. Would have been great to have the typical 150 new combo and an offer from Gil.
Prizes are always different to everyone, one person might not like this selection but another person does. I don’t hate all the prizes but I don’t love them all either but I think they’re more better than most of the prizes from the Black History event someone will disagree with me on this.
Some characters and costumes I think should’ve been included in this event are Baby Face Palooka, El Bombastico, Half-Mast, Beautiful Bart and Laddie Liberty who all have either been mentioned in dialogue, tasks or on a billboard in the game. Maybe Bret Hart could’ve been the Gil deal and been this year’s Simpsons guest star after Matt Groening, Stephen Hawking and Weird Al Yankovic.

You and I were thinking the same thing (Brett Hart as Gil Deal with Wrestling Ring that let’s Characters Wrestle as a Visual Task). I’d have paid 200 to 300 🍩’s for that! 😀🍻
While I agree the Gil Deal is just a typical Premium Character Combo, it was worth the sprinkles and you said it – Act 3 isn’t worth the Grind (except for Dr. Bonebreak!) …. so without the Gil Deal? it’s just crap Prizes (maybe something from the Gold Wrestling Mystery Box) …. and if Wrestling isn’t for you? (or anyone?) I would sit this Event out ….. so Stay Safe and ruuuuuumble 😀🍻
EA really sucks. Can’t log in, every day’s the same. Downloads update, asks for you to log in to your EA account, then says “log in details incorrect”. This is the 5th day running and I have to change my password to get it to load. Had enough so I’m not bothering anymore.

Even I have had to uninstall and reinstall (I keep my Origin Account sign in info saved in a document on Google Docs). EA has admitted to Network and Origin Account problems …. I’m sure the Covid-19 pandemic isn’t helping.

The prizes might not seem great for this act since there isn’t a building (at least there’s a character this time), but I am looking forward to unlocking Dr. Bonebreak and the trashed façade for the Town Hall (it is the first façade for the Town Hall). I seen racoons in the Backyard Wrestling Ring so I hope they fight each other if we don’t get any character visual tasks in this ring. I’m not sure what to do with the Party Limo maybe put it with the Golden Ring Wrestling HQ or with Jay G’s Mansion or Alcatraaaz’s Mansion. The Beefy Bishop looks interesting and his barbershop.

I don’t think we ever got a Halloween, or Christmas, Building Skin for City Hall (this one is ok but not worth it as a Prize).

How is that a Gil deal? A regular character at the normal price? Weird. Was really, really hoping for a real wrestler. So confused and disappointed.
Beefy Bishop is a Wrestler Character (earns Premium Event Currency) Beefy Bishop’s Barbershop acts like a Building (earns $ and XP with Character Tasks). He’s not voiced but hey it’s a better Prize vs most of what Act 3 offers up! 😀🍻
It’s a good job the sun is shining 95% of the year in Springfield, with all of these roofless buildings we keep getting!

Anyone else’s game acting screwy? I can’t access the event icon or daily challenge. Nothing happens when I tap. Also the building radius thing where you tap and everything around it taps to collect cash isn’t working. One building at a time is all that’s working. And the Frink think to 5x XP isn’t accessible.
Having problems logging in since Friday when I finished the second prize track. Gives me an error message. Just reinstalled game and did a reboot on my phone but doesn’t help. WAs already to start round three of wrestling event. Any one else having trouble with server?
My entire town is stuck at Burns Manor. I tap to free them and collect the money/exp but no one comes out. When I close and reopen the game I can tap them again, collect more money and exp, but they still don’t emerge. This happens on both my iPad and iPhone so I don’t think reinstalling will fix it. Thoughts?
